Please,
I would like to know if custom ROM is already being worked on.
Thank you
Custom rom
Xiaomi eu. There is a post on this rom in the thread ?
Okay, but I meant AOSP, RR, Lineage, etc.
It seems like there's a bug in the K30 pro source code that is hard for the developers to fix. Currently there's a Mokee rom on Cookapk but the camera is broken and its very unstable for a daily driver use. Probably GSI AOSP for now?
---------- Post added at 03:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:18 PM ----------
You can also wait for the Android 11 beta. That's also AOSP.

Well, it often takes time until developers are able to create something functional. The global version is just starting to be sold. I am still waiting for mine (though I went for the slightly higher specs version and that will only get available in around 2 weeks or so).
Anyway, despite me knowing there could be a lot of problems getting a custom ROM working (I would not dare to even try that) I really hope there will be some. Fingers crossed Poco F2 pro will be interesting for quite a few developers .

Just checked for you and the download link is expired. Anyway you can still try the GSI.
Somebody uploaded just a preview rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f2-pro/how-to/android-11-beta-1-f2-pro-k30-pro-t4121291
Hello,
Is there development in progress in costum roms?
I did find a kernel: https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Kernel_OpenSource/tree/lmi-q-oss
And also a device tree: https://github.com/MiCode/kernel_devicetree/tree/lmi-q-oss
Hope Lineage os is coming soon! Very sad that there is such litle development. Poco F1 was a really good phone for custom roms. I think the problem is that there where no free phones for developers Hope wtih android 11 coming that will may change.
Yeah, this phone's specs look amazing, the only thing that keeps me from getting it right now is MIUI.
Any development would be as always very much appreciated!

Yep specs and no hole display are awesome!
I am coming from OxygenOS and I can tell you after some time and withe the help of nova launcher + others, MIUI is not that bad.

I came from Oneplus too and now I love miui. It´s awesome! But, of course I want custom roms and all development posible for my K30 pro zoom
I just installed the miui mix ROM for the K30pro and the truth is that it works very well. I found it searching in google......downloaded and flashed without problems.

Mmx is based on xiaomi.eu, magisk rooted.
Also battery life is better. And some great functionnalities.

Why poco f2 pro have no aosp rom?
A lot of peoples have k20 pro, and this one have just 1 year old!
Everybody doesn't change his phone each year.
On k20 there's a lot of aosp, various Kernels, mods....
May be there's is some bugs but how many developers have k30 pro? That is the question!

I really like the stock feel of Android, just curious if there are any ROMs for the x2 that are close to Cyanogenmod?
Thanks.

Yep. Emui is as close as we're gonna get to CM. CM is usually buggy anyways. It still is on my Nexus 6P. AOSP based is much better but we won't see that either on the X2. If the phone has a Kirin processor then forget about seeing any AOSP or CM based roms.
Ok, so Cm and AOSP lovers should switch to Mediapad M2 7.0 and it's snapdragon
I'll re-read the simply google romthread , I did post the link above, I guess I misunderstood...

There are people who do not like extreme personalization, nor MIUI, nor flash every day a rom. They simply want to enjoy the best android experience in a simple way, with great battery management, with the sound working properly and with a good camera. End.
I've been with this rom this afternoon, it's perfect for that. Soft and fast, but it has some bugs, the screen time disappears and the wifi does not work. Waiting for the official version.

Hello all! I want to share twrp flashable zip with mi a2 stock camera (and it looks the same with RN5 camera). It is based on this magisk module but can be installed through twrp recovery. I also changed device_features and enabled all camera features (if I miss something, please tell me). I tested it on latest official lineage os and it seems to be working fine. If anybody can test it on pie rom, please tell me the results.

Hi Everyone,
I am using a XZ Premium dual card (G8142) bought from China, the current rom for me is official Hong Kong 47.2.A.10.107
This phone works quite well before upgraded to Android 9, but now it crashes sometimes which is very annoying.
Sometimes it crashes when playing games, but not limited to that.
I am looking for a stable rom so I can enjoy maybe another year with XZ premium
Thanks in advance
Been using Carbon rom since october, rom performance is best.
yeah carbon is the most stable from what i have experienced. the lineage 16 is a constant battery drain cause the creator overclocked the cpu, the remix has sluggish in certain area's, and the sodp aosp 10 is a bug nightmare. I got it barely stable but was limited to stock aosp camera only so i gave up on it.
Thank u guys

I agree. I keep coming back to it for it's stability and customization and Gcam works, if that's important.

**** Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if you destroy your device. Use at your own risk!!! ****
I have only tested on lineage os but It should work on any los/aosp based rom that uses los device tree's. try at your own risk and report back. if I get enough reports of the kernel working on other roms I will make a list of rom's this has been successfully used with
InSaNiTy Kernel for the oneplus 7 pro
The goal of this kernel is a stable daily driver kernel that provides a good mix of performance and battery life. I will not include every feature known to man in this kernel. I will include what I want on my device and what I feel should be included for a good daily driver.
Features include:
Boeffla wake lock blocker
Adreno boost from Flar2 (disabled by default)
Fsync on/off switch (Fsync disabled by default)
msm watchdog disabled (there is really no point to having it enabled)
reduced overhead and latency in the back end where ever possible
passes safety net check
file systems mounted with noatime
disabled excessive debugging
cpu scaling tweaked for better battery life without sacrificing performance
more to come
Flashing instructions flash boot.img in fastboot and reboot
this link will always be to the most recent version
