After upgrading my note 2 from 4.3 to 4.4.2, my phone's battery life is suddenly downgraded.
before upgradation, DU BATTERY app shows battery run time for more than 26 hours, but afterwards suddenly shows 15-16 hours.
I gave my phone to service station but the problem is still unsolved.
So if there is any solution kindly post it.
Thanx
Hey everyone, i just got a new mi 4w and updated it to miui 8.1.6 , everything works pretty fine, except battery! It just dropped from 100% to 88% in 5 mins with off screen.
Is it just because phone is new and battery needs to be calibrated or it's a hardware failure ?
How can i calibrate it, if so ?
In normal usage it dropped from 88% to almost 65% in 30 mins (screen was on this time)
Try factory reset, if this doesn't help, reflash the ROM.
I have been using YU Yunicorn for the past 1 year. It was great untill one day the battery % kept dropping instantly to 0. I had my phone flashed at the service center and it was normal again. But from the past 2 months the battery wouldn't charge after 88% , I had my phone flashed again the charging issue was solved but I noticed the battery % was dropping abruptly at certain percentages.
I think that it is a software related problem but I need someone to confirm it.
Thank you.
I am having a problem with my MI 4C, i've had it for about 2.5 years but at the last few months my phone started breaking my USB cables and earphones (they stopped working little by little), the phone keeps shutting down on 40-50% of battery and can't turn on untill i plug it on charger, but when i put it on charger i get 60-70% of battery...
I can't even get more than 1 hour SoT, i've checked the battery health status with AIDA64 and few other programs, and it says that is in 'Good' condition. I've tried a lot of ROM's so i guess software problem is out?
I've also noticed most battery draining after i root my phone, can this be somehow connected to the battery problems?
You need to replace the battery.
We had similar issues with the percentages and they resolved after the battery was replaced.

Dear Community,
since few days a problem with my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s came out of nowhere. My phone charged very quickly but as soon I removed the charger, the battery drained extremely fast. I lost about 1% in 2 Mins. Then as i charged my phone it charged again super fast to 100%. When I restarted the phone after charging it came back with only 42% so I could charge the phone again. After installing an update the charging went slower so i thought maybe the problem was fixed. So i tried to restart after charging my phone again to 100% and it came back with 30%. But now it is already 4 hours at exactly 30% without loosing any "%". Do you guys think my battery is broken or could it be a software problem?
Thanks for advices !
Sebastian
Maybe change a battery.
