Hi. I am able to boot this rom with a few hacks, but the rom is slow as hell. It even laggs when typing the PIN so i switched to Slimrom 6.0.1. If you want to know how i flashed it, go to slimrom 6.0.1 thread an d search for my install instructions (3 or 4 page)

Oh man...I thought you figured it out..Sorry I thought to answer your query in lineageOs thread...Forget...First of all,I think u have flashed the official version...That thread is for unofficial version..
Regarding updates, there is a folder name like cmupdate in internal SD or system,there you can find the downloaded file..
Or simply using a file manager, you can search for the file name like Lineage,will it returns results ?

I searched a lot but didn't find any source for the HTC A9 if you can, could you give me a link since it seems that I cant make any software to work other than the stock ?

"should", most if not all treble roms have some bugs (e.g. camera) and it is not compareable to a custom rom built and optimized for a device (in terms of battery life, sot, perf, device specific mods and kernel optimizations,xiaomi did not build into theyr stock kernel).
I'm currently trying to build kernel source from xiaomi (with uber 4.9 TC) but get the following error:
"include/trace/events/msm_cam.h:19:21: fatal error: msm_isp.h: no such file or directory" though msm_isp.h is in the correct include folder. Found other kernel sources (oneplus5) with same problem which was solved by building the kernel inline (with oneplus oss aosp). Xiaomi does however, not provide a rom source. If anyone with more experience than me (i'm noob, also i dont work anything related to informatics/programming) could help this would be great.
edit: Building seems to work by defining output directory (make O=out <command>)

- Camera and flashlight -> can´t copy libs, since twrp´s not working...
- Wifi and hotspot working! And it seems everything else
- damn smooth but broken camera is a dealbreaker

Is your device for A arm only 32bit then it should work

Hi yeah my phone is Arm A only "Hannah", I tried several times to flash miui but i get failed to load kernel error everytime. Do you have a way I can contact you?

Phusson and RR Remix are pie now on both Roms have music stutters when you first install them and you have to do the soundfx so then they can stop the stutters and here is the fix boot to twrp mine has vendor idk if your does but it's check vendor now from there go to terminal type
Mv soundfx soundfx-backup then you will see this /vendor/lib #
Then type
ls -al |grep soundfx hit enter
You should see this at the end 9 backup if you see that then you got it sometimes you have to do it twice .
If your not getting the soundfx right pm me I'll help you more there
When you do the commands in twrp all LOWER k's ok
