Hello, I have a problem with my HU since I updated the MCU and Hal9k v4, before I did not have the problem ... the HU now starts from 0 most of the time, the few times it wakes up from sleep mode as it should doing it is when I don't use the car for a couple of days, what can it be?

heyho,
1 year ago, there was a thread for this issue:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...-head-units-qa/prevent-autostart-app-t3379853
meanwhile there is no really solution available?
so now:
-is there any way to let the unit starts clean after ACU-timeout (power off)?
if not, how can i auto close all apps while shutting down message appears?
If you use power menu and manually shutdown the HU before you turn off the ignition, is it working ?
unfortanetly no, still the same.
My MTCD unit touchscreen or soft buttons don't work after wake up after key off.
I have to key on - key off 3-5 times before they work. Once they are working unit performs perfectly until the next key cycle.
I think it's a software issue but is it Firmware or MCU
I am seeing the same intermittent problem with my PX5 unit, screen is black and push buttons do not work, cannot enter recovery mode either, then for no apparent reason it will work normally for a while.
I suspect there is a hardware fault with mcu or maybe even some other failing component or poor soldering. I have raised the issue with the seller but would be interested to hear from others as to what they think the likely cause may be or what can be checked to narrow down the problem.
As far as I can tell the battery and acc voltages are good but 7805 and 7809 regulators do not appear to be powering up in my case?
Mine isn't as bad as the unit will continue to play music from the point key is off and steering wheel controls still function.
Hello, did you manage to solve the problem? I have the same issue after upgrading from PX3 to PX5. The unit works fine after booting (if the power is disconnected). The problem is after wake up, since it does not support to turn it completely off any more.
Did you do something before it happening (e.g. a firmware update, mcu, or?).
Thank you.
I have the same issue with my new GS PX5. Before I had another one which hadn't this problem.
My problem seems to have been solved by updating the MCU to HA 2.61. Now the menu to control shutdown behavior shows up in the Extra settings and I chose the 30 sec delay.
Not sure if auto sleep works too, need to try.
Alex.
My top soft buttons stopped working.Everything else work ok but all the top softbuttons doped working. What can I do?
Please help! I have the main unit for Fiat Ducato RockChip PX3 Android 7.1.2, MTCD_MX_V2.56_1. The setting allows you to set the "OFF delay time at ACC OFF". The settings do not work and the device turns off immediately. I tried to install different ROMs and different MTCDs, but it turns off the device whenever the ignition key is turned (off). Thanks

The delay time means the time before a complete shutdown. It's only meant for a faster start when your entering the vehicle within the time that you have set
When I set any value, the device switches off immediately and the startup takes approx minute.
You must have a wiring connection problem.
Hi Everyone,
I'm reaching out because I'm facing a challenge with my android Radio in my car and maybe you guys can help me.
I bought 6 Months ago this product:
Eunavi 2 din Android 7.1 8.1 car DVD player GPS for Toyota Corolla 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 1024*600 screen 8'' car stereo radio.
Everything was fine until recently where when I'm driving and not using the radio, the radio is going to sleep mode, the screen becomes black and there are still some lights switched on around the power button.
The problem is that once this sleep mode is reached, I have no other ways than to switch off the car to reboot the radio unit to get it back to life.
I tried a lot of things including the reset button, Factory reset, but the issue always the same, once I'm on sleep mode for inactivity, I cannot switch it back on for proper normal use.
Is there anyone that has been facing this in the past and that overcome that issue?
Thanks for your help.

Hi all,
i've a Dasaita Max 10 Px6 that switches on and restarts after 10 seconds in loop.
Moreover, the restore button on the left does not perform any restore even if pressed for more than a minute (the LEDs do not flash). once pressed it simply turns off the device and turns it back on when released.
MCU: 3.78_1
Max 10 Version:HA3_rk3399_10.0_ota(20211015)
Note:
through the system menu I was able to reinstall the last update of the Dasaita again but after 1 day the problem returned.

OP there is a dedicated forum for these MTCD devices with so much information available to you.
