Why do you want official YouTube app? If you don't like GApps then choose GetTube or Videoder

Did you already try Youtube Vanced?
Im looking for a working app to root Mi Mix and install MIUI 10 or Lineage GSI. I have tried Kingroot but stays on 01%. Thanks in advance.
Don't do it with an app, do it by yourself so you know exactly what went wrong in case something goes wrong
PLEASE next time search the forums before posting.
Root can be found here: http://en.miui.com/thread-2449455-1-1.html
MIUI10 requires a unlocked bootloader if you are not on the beta team.
Instructions to do so can be found here:

Hi,
I hope that this is the relevant forum, if not, please transfer the thread for the relevant one.
I have Xiaomi Mi Note 3, very enjoy with this phone, I have 2 questions please,
1. When We will get OTA Oreo update? Currently I use MUIU 9.6.2.0 version.
2. How I can install Google Camera? I understand that it's better then phone regular camera app, is it's true?
Thank you.
Hi, Miui 10 is still under development - there is only China beta rom. Global developer rom is not released and probably won't be. For Google camera you have to root your device and install Magisk. In order to work properly follow this tutorial https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-note-3/how-to/google-camera-how-to-mi-note-3-t3757049

Thanks for reply,
I prefer not use the China version.
About the camera, there is any chance not to root my phone and use it ?
Unfortunately there is no other method - you can enable Camera2 api without root but in order the front camera to work you have to install a Magisk module which requires root.
As for Miui 10 you can flash xiaomi.eu rom but the Google camera cannot be used.
The google camera is worth it ?
Google camera is taking better pics in low-light situations. The daylight photos are on par with Miui camera.

What you mean ?
EU is multi-language and clean of Chinese apps.
In MIUI 10, Gcam does not work.
Hi all,
The devs of YouTube Vanced are looking to test if the root version of their app works with Q rooted. I'd rather not post a link, so I'll PM it to you if anyone is willing.
Thanks!
... What exactly is the root version? I only know the Magisk module.
But yes, I'm on Q Beta 6 with Magisk Canary 19.4
Thanks got your pm and thread closed.
