Galaxy J700F donwload mode not detected on PC (Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock) - Samsung Galaxy J7 Questions & Answers

Samsung Galaxy J7 had TWRP recovery and genisys xperience ROM. I used it perfectly without any issue for more than a year now. I did a factory reset via twrp and everything was working fine but after two days the phone was switched off due to low battery and then onwards it's showing custom binary blocked by FRP lock.
I dont know why this happened without doing anything with the phone.
I read a few threads where people just asked to flash stock rom via odin. but to do that Phone doesn't get detected by the PC while it's in Download mode.
I have installed USB Drivers for Samsung, I have latest version of ODIN. I've use odin multiple times before this and it's the 1st time that the phone is not even detected by PC.
when outside download mode the phone is recognized as unknown device (device descriptor request failed).
please help to solve the issue!
I've tried using different usb cables and other usb ports!

Trapped in Download Mode [Possible Brick]

Hi everybody, Yesterday my friend and i were trying to upgrade his Samsung Galaxy Core (GT-I8260L) from official stock jellybean 4.1.2 to kitkat 4.4.4 unnoficial. We rooted it succesfully, installed Super SU, and BusyBox. Then we downloaded a TWRP file to flash it through ODIN. the flash was succesfull but when the phone rebooted it got stuck at the download mode. It doesnt boot, and we can't acces the recovery by any means. it just turns the screen on and show the download mode screen (picture attached).
We have tried everything, but the thing is that the device isn't recogogniced by the pc (We've tried in a win 8.1 and win 7 pc, but had no luck.). It fails to install the right drivers. we've tried to download almost every samsung phone drivers, but none of them worked. ODIN also fails to recognize it.
we also tried Heimdall, but when we try to install the drivers it does recognize the phone as 'MSM7x27' for some reason.
We also have problems setting up the 'SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device Driver', failing to make it work every time we tried to configure it (Automatic Windows Driver Install or Downloading it manually).
I hope someone can at least guide us through the solution or suggest a way to fix it.
Thanks in advance

[Q] Samsung Drivers aren't properly detected / Download Mode Problems.

Hello people, I have a particulartly weird problem. I have Samsung S7562, Or S Duos. I had Stock Rom 4.0.4, and decided to flash CosmicRom 3 on it, so of course, I'm rooted and I have Clockwork Mod 5 (Custom version). Also, I have USB Debugging On. One day I decided to go back to stock using Odin, and I got stuck. Here's what I tried:
-Connect the Phone to the PC with 3 cables, using 2 different ports
-Pull out the battery in Download Mode, Boot Windows 7 64 Bit with Phone plugged in
-Turning off USB Debugging
-Installing Kies oddly doesn't work, and also I can't uninstall Samsung Drivers, which is also weird (It crashes).
-I restarted my PC and did all these on my second PC, but no success.
I think that the problem is the driver. When my phone is in Download Mode, it gets recognized as a Samsung Modem, with a modem picture, and it gives me Error Code 10, even though I have proper CDC Drivers installed with which I connect it to Odin. What's the problem here?

bricked s6?

Hello, a friend of mine brought me probably bricked sm G920F (galaxy s6). he was on custom rom and twrp 3.0.2. He accidentaly wipped everything on the device and now it is stacked on twrp loading screen. i downloaded usb drivers and odin to flash back to stock but the pc is not recognizing my device when i boot into download mode. So i am a bit stacked since twrp is not loading and the phone is not recognized by my pc. We tried on different pcs with different cables and usb ports but still the phone is not get recognized.
Any suggestions?
hey, I'm in a similar boat.. been wrangling with it for a few days I am attempting the Emergency Software Recovery using Samsung Smart Switch, have you tried that?
It's shown when inquiry adb devices?
You must flash original firmware with ODIN

Samsung S8+ not detected any more from any PC

Hello,
I have bought a new Samsung Note 8 and took the sim Card from the S8+ out and changed it to the Note 8.
The S8+ is rooted and the ROM from CARHD is flashed.
After the new boot from my S8+ there stands in small letters : CUSTOM BINARY BLOCKED BY FRP
After that the S8+ powers down.
I thought no problem and wanted to initialize the S8+ with smart switch.
and now the problem : The S8+ does not connect to any PC in download mode. And i can not boot into recovery mode.
I tried it on 3 different PC´s with the original cable installed all drivers completly new. But no detection anymore. (unknown USB device)
The Note 8 is always detected but not the S8+
Does anybody have an solution for this or is the phone completly dead ?
I don´t know how i can try to get on.... I would be happy for every help or solution i could try.
Thanks in advance
Does really no one know what i can do ????
Can you boot to the download screen? You get to it by using the bixby+vol down+power. If so, you can use Odin to install an official rom or install twrp recovery and install a custom rom
Hello,
I can boot to download mode but the PC does not detect the phone right...it is always unknown usb device. That´s the big Problem. So i am not able to Flash anything.
Only suggestions would be to either uninstall and the re-install the Samsung mobile drivers on your 'puter or try another 'puter if you have one. Sounds like it's related to the pc and not the phone.
If you have read what i have written ... I tried it on 3 differnet PC´s and every other phone is detected. I think the phone is dead. I reinstalled also all Drivers.
The only way to get out of it is to find a way to detect the phone again.
OK - when you are in download mode and connected to Odin, does your phone show up as an activated ID COM port?
Hello, no it is an unknown usb device ! Thats the Problem. !

Hard problems with Samsung Galaxy S6 (broken flash chip?)

Hello guys, I'm really STUCK with the galaxy S6 (G920F) at the moment.
A friend gave it to me he said it suddenly turned off while he was playing a game and couldn't boot anymore.
I can't turn it off, it will keep on turning on automatically.
I can't go into recovery mode.
I can only go into download mode and flash a firmware with odin
I flashed the stock firmware with the latest odin and it flashed successfully. But it's still stuck on the Samsung logo (powered by Android) and won't boot into recovery or do anything at all.
So I read it could be the battery, so I bought a new one and replaced the battery.
But the problem remains. On Windows 7 x64 it's detected as "Gadget Serial" and "SAMSUNG Mobile USB CDC Composite Device" when I'm in download mode.
Odin detects the phone fine.
I then tried using Samsung Kies, and Samsung Smart Switch. Samsung Smart Switch detects an "unsupported device" and Samsung Kies doesn't detect anything at all and is stuck at "connecting...".
I don't have any ideas anymore and I fear it's a dead flash chip or any other board malfunctions.
Any suggestions maybe? Pleasee?

Sounds to me like it has run out of storage space and has no room to cache files when it boots.
Have you tried extracting the stock recovery.img from the stock firmware file then converting the recovery.img to a .tar.md5 file, then flashing the recovery and try to boot directly to it after flashing? If you can get into recovery, you can factory reset the device and wipe the cache partition. Sometimes this solves a bootloop issue after flashing stock firmware.
You can also try flashing a copy of TWRP for your device and then use TWRP to factory reset and wipe the device.
