Hi,
The font size of the status bar (time, wifi symbol etc) does not seem to change with either the system font size setting nor the screen zoom setting like it has on other galaxies I've owned. Can anyone else confirm this ? Anyone know how to make it larger as it's tiny!
You can try zFont app, which will change font for everything in the phone, so you can get very slightly bigger font or at least better readable.

Is it possible to make the taskbar smaller by reducing the height of it? It's 480x52 by default and I tried to reduce it to 480x49 for example, didn't work. I tried to put 4 transparent pixels on the bottom instead of reducing the image size, didn't work.
Any clues?
I recently rooted my archos 43IT and now i have changed the lcd density from 240 to 200 and i love it but the status bar has become transparent except for a tiny chunk on the far left.
This doesn't affect how easy it is to use but it is annoying and i would rather that it was completely transparent or a solid colour
Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?
thanks

I have the option to change ui element colors and transparency such as the stauts bar on PA primou. But when I make any changes it does nothing...
Any ideas?
Thanks.
... well actually "nothing" is not accurate- it shows the change such as from white to red in the little box on the menu, but the change does not actually take effect.
do these type of changes only stick after a reboot? or is does it have to do with some sort of locked theme preference?
Is there a way to change the color of the status bar icons yet?
The stock white is killing me, My eyes are not what they use to be. In past phones I had changed them to a bright green which was easy to read.
I would also be happy If I could make those icons larger somehow.
I also have a hard time seeing the notifications on my lock screen, Larger text would be great.
One would think Android would give us an option for visually impaired just like they did for the hearing impaired
Thanks
You could go to settings -> display -> zoom screen and font
There you can change the size of things on your screen, and make fonts bigger.
Thanks, I just tried that, it doesnt change the size of the status bar nor the lock screen notifications
Back in time with my old Oneplus 7 Pro I could change the text size in the statusbar by changing the ''display size'' to larger in the display settings, it's not the case with my s22u
So will it enlarge the statubar text on pixel 7 pro?
Yes it will, same section under Settings. Display/Display size and Text.
