AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Nougat. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
4. Flash ROM Zipfile

I am uploading some ss, you will understand where is the problem exactly.
1. video recording in google camera(B-S-G) on xperience rom (same result with snap camera)
2.Video recording in bacon camera in xperience rom
3.Video recording in google camera(B-S-G) on stock miui 9 (not tested with snap camera but result will be same)

How can I access menu? Menu button works as recent button and when I change it in settings nothing happens?

Two possible ways:
1. Flash MIUI 9 firmware
2. Flash MIUI via EDL (to go to edl, type "adb reboot edl")

Just go settings- sim card- jio 4g- and then delete the default apn
Then create a new apn with the following details and save it
Name- jionet
APN- jionet
APN protocol- IPV4/IPV6
APN roaming protocol- IPV4/IPV6
Rest leave all the column as it is...
Save and enable the apn
Turn on jio4g data and boom!! Your volte will start working

DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

A: Oh hai there, well, Pie source is still under construction. Tho, I am an official maintainer, I will add official tag to the thread once the source is stable and we get builds from the server directly.

A: The current build should technically, support encryption. I still need to test this.
Q: Why u no mention features, gib me features :/
A: A lot of features are available in "OwlNest". I haven't mentioned it here, coz no time and also this thread will change once we start official builds. I will try my best to mention all the features by this weekend.
Q: Battery settings FC?
A: #BlameGoogle for now, disabling Health services fixes the issue.
Q: VoLTE de?
A: Should work most probably, I don't use it, so haven't got a chance to test. Lemme know.
Q: Do I have to wipe data if coming from another ROM?
A: Yes, I will not be providing help/support to users that haven't wiped data when coming from another ROM.

Battery settings force close is another one of Google's flaw. Disable Device Health Services to make it work again.

Im not saying anything bad battery draining problem and saver is not working. When dialing just text shows up that its calling and buttons not showing up(not sure that its rom problem).. there are some little things to change to make it for daily driver

Download the ROM, Firmware and GApps from the links above.
- Download MIUI Q 11.0.4.0 from here.
- Flash the zip in TWRP. After flashing format data and confirm with entering "yes"
- Let MIUI boot to system one time
- Flash official Q TWRP
- Put all files you need (Rom.zip, Magisk) on your internal storage.
- Flash your zip files. If Magisk tells you it can't mount system, try deselecting system from the Mounts option in TWRP and then flash again.
- In TWRP and format data and confirm with entering "yes"
- Reboot system and enjoy. ​

Most if the ROMs I tried that mode in seems to work with the 66 hz only so I guess it will be the same for this or let's wait for someone to try it.

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

A quick question, what makes this "unofficial?"
Also do you have gesture typing working? I tried out a few 10.0 roms and none of them had gesture typing working which was quite unfortunate.

Unofficial means no OTA
but now i got official also means OTA support will be there from next build.
And yes gesture typing working fine here.

I apologize, I seem to be running into trouble: I'm getting an error message as I try to install via TWRP
"Update process ended with ERROR : 7
Erro installing zip file (file name)"
I have up to date firmware, I'm just wondering if htere is something else I should be doing?

Which recovery u tried and flash latest weekly firmware first
Then ROM

I'm working off TWRP 3.3.1.0
Ahh..I didn't install the weekly firmware, I have the latest stable firmware 11.05
In the firmware download the recent firmware 9.12.12 is only for the Chinese version (I think I have the Global/Indian version of the phone). Will it cause problems for me to download the Chinese firmware?
By the way, in that sense the error message makes sense, its asking for firmware later than 9.11.28; and I thought 11.05 was more recent and thus I was fine. If we're going by 9.12.12 numbering scheme, I truoly don't have the latest firmware.
So just to ask, will it break my phone if I download the Chinese firmware?

First update your recovery to orange fox

Second flash latest weekly fw first

Sigh, I'm so sorry for being a hassle; I'm clearly doing something wrong
1.) Successfully installed Orange Fox
2.) Flashed firmware 9.12.12
3.) Installed crDroid
4.) Installed Gaapps (beta for 10.0)
However the phone would not boot; it gets stuck at the "Redmi by Xiaomi" splash screen.
I tried it again without installing Gapps (incase the beta version was faulty or something), but no go. Its still stuck at the Splash Screen

Once format your data via orange fox
Then goto wipe
Swipe to wipe
Then in adv wipe select all except microsd
Then flash fw
Flash ROM
And flash gapps which were mentioned in the thread
Then reboot

Success!!
the problem after a lot of tinkering was the version of Orange Fox linked to in an earlier post.
With a different version of recovery, it installed fine.

A minor complaint, I can't seem to get gesture typing working here. I checked under virtual keyboards and the option does not exist. Is there another way to get gesture typing working?

Problem with GAPPS
It boots well without GAPPS, but it's getting either bootloop or stuck on slash screen. Please do help.
