This ROM is the best yet in my opinion and I think AOSP based ROM's are the way to go until we can produce a fully working stable ROM then maybe look to Lineage based ROM's
I have to say the OP has done a superb job thus far supporting this device and should get some real credit. :highfive:
This device may not be popular but I believe it holds the key to opening up other Sony Mediatek based devices which are of a higher spec & quality such as the XA, XA1, and their variants also the L3 and even the M5. Most of the fore mentioned devices cant be bought for very little money on auction sites so any curious dev's out there who want a little bit of a challenge grab one while you can.

It would be interesting to know if building a MAD OS solved the issue but I believe some of your stuff is closed and not sure if any of that closed stuff has a bearing on the ril

I've saw this rom posted on official build, so my question is can we dirty flash from official build? I aware that clean flash is always recommended. And is this still on August security patch?

Does volte work on second sim
I can't activate data on second sim. Even i choose apn manually and reboot, clean install again and again. Redmi 3X.

Hey Devs ,
There is a small yet annoying bug in almost every pie ROM..
After connecting wired or wireless earphones the microphone starts going crazy..
Only the phone app is able to use it (ie, during calls)
Other apps such as camera , google assistant , WhatsApp games etc are misbehaving .
A reboot fixes it , but this makes rebooting a mandatory thing every time one uses their earphones , which is irritating as you could imagine...
So please consider this while making next build..

FAQ
Why is the security patch older than the latest AOSP patch?
CAF focus on delivering the latest hardware patches and are usually about a month behind Google on security patches, on the other hand, Google is usually a month or more behind on them on caf patches (sometimes months). No point in complaining about it, if you want the latest security patch, go with an AOSP based rom (like LineageOS), if you want latest Qualcomm optimizations for our hardware as well as fixes, go with caf, it's as simple as that.

Resurrection Remix the ROM has been based on CM,slim.omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your device

Reboot to TWRP Recovery (PBRP is the preferred recovery)
After that, Click the “Wipe” button
Perform a clean wipe by clicking the “Advanced” button and ticking system, data, dalvik and cache. Do not wipe your SD Card or your Internal Storage.
Locate where the Custom ROM is stored and look for the ROM
And then, Flash it.
After flashing it, flash Google Apps
After flashing Google Apps, flash Magisk again to obtain root access
After flashing all those files, reboot your system and enjoy!
Voila! You have successfully installed RR 5.8.8 on your device!
Please take note that first boot will take 10 to 15 minutes, so please be patient.

- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)

The screen flickers when you drop the menu down but not always. That's all I found "as a bug".
In the other hand, I can't install Magisk. I reboot to recovery (which is not installed in this rom), install via sideload and everything seems fine, although I get stuck in bootloops or, in the best scenario, the system boots without Magisk.

I have the same Problem with RevengeOS!
I had that problem with LegionOS rom but PixysOS worked just fine for me. I don't know what changed or what is the actual problem.
