Hello, I bought a Samsung S8 + from a German ebay dealer with the following software combination as a so-called new device:
G955FXXS5DSH5 / G955FXSA5DSFB / SCV35KDU1CSF4. The S8 + worked, but there were no further security updates
possible. The last one was from 06/01/2019.
According to the IMEI website, it is a device for the Japanese market: G955F Galaxy S8+ G955F (SCV35) (au is on the back). On the S8 + I now have the original one Version SCV35KDU1CSF4 flashed with Odin:
Result: It works, but apart from the Asian languages and Portuguese, only the English language selection is possible.
For this special case there is the possibility to flash a version (possibly as a combination above) to the device
to use in german language?
Note: Apparently a Snapdron has been installed here.

I flashed Android 2.3.6 on my Galaxy 551 (originally from Bell Canada, had Android 2.2). The image I used is called I5510XWKPB.rar and I used the instructions from androiddevices (can't post the link because I am a new member and the forum doesn't allow me).
Everything would be OK, except the device keyboard is now using a German layout and I can't find a way to set it to English. In fact, the default language is also German.
I tried to install the GT-I5510M firmware from Bell Canada from sammobile.com as well as the GT-I5510 firmware for United Kingdom (Vodafone) from the same page. The UK firmware doesn't appear to make any difference, while the Bell firmware bricks the device.
Any idea ?

I am planning to buy the Galaxy S2 Plus, but it's the non-NFC model were talking about here (GT-I9105, not GT-I9105P).
If anyone of you have this model, can you please tell me if the Croatian (Hrvatski) language is available to select both in "Settings > Language and keyboard" and in the Samsung stock keyboard as an input language.
Besides that, if you have experience in Samsung stock ROMs, can you tell me which languages are included in firmwares with the "OXE" CSC (for example CSC=I9105OXEBML1). Yes, I know there are several threads and lists about this, but I've realized that ROMs usually have more included languages than stated on those lists.
As "OXE" is meant for Russia/Ukraine/Baltic/Kazakhstan users, I don't know whether it contains the Croatian (Hrvatski) language too. The NFC model can be flashed with stock "OXX" ROMs, which include the Croatian language, but only the non-NFC model is available for me to buy.

I have GT-I9105, not GT-I9105P and Hrvatski language is available to select in "Settings > Language and keyboard" but not available in the Samsung stock keyboard.
I`m from Russia and my firmware is stock I9105XXUBMH2.
Phone is unlocked, but operator AT & T has excluded most languages. I want to sell it in Russia. So we have to somehow set the Russian language. The firmware of the Russian version of the phone is not suitable - they have SM-G920F. Please help extract of SM-G920F Russian language and add it to the SM-G920A.
You cant just flash another version on the G920A, it has a locked bootloader. Besides theres no working root for this device, so using apps like More Locale 2 is also likely to be out of the equation

Issue that is important to me:
(I will not install a version 6.0.1 without understanding the listed PDA, CSC numbers of this web sit. because on the same web sit i update a s6 edge Plus (german version) with the right number PDA, a PDA number of the the same phone but officialy originaly a french version 5.1.1 and after i done everythings well with Odin the phone Start with an Italian version instead of French (on websit it was wrote a french version..). More after that i try to update the phone with this 5.1.1 italian version by using the phone with wifi to try to put the 6.0.1 Normaly like any normal update (in italy version 6.0.1 was available for a while) The phone told me i had the last firmware avaible... (its the 5.1.1 wjen normaly have to update to 6.0.1... i did this update 2 weeks ago) it is not very serious and scary at the same time I have important personal information of customers / doctors.
1- This 6 versions of 6.0.1 French version are different on what ?
2- How to choose the right version ? (like i wrote before On the same web sit I tried a version 5.1.1 in french for S6 Edge Plus and I had finaly an Italian version when i have to finish with a French version)

Hello Fraizer, I would like to point out that any firmware can be flashed as long as it is related to your phone model and will function required that you install it following the correct procedures.
1. Samsung firmwares vary alot due to specific geographical regions and carrier requirements which contains software packages specific to that region and also APN settings for data connection. To answer your question there are multiple Italian versions due to updates released by Samsung to address bugs/glitches with the system.

i want to understand to make a choise because this i had not the good language and worst when i put a 5.1.1 on an Edge version "PLUS" i had message when i tried to update in OTA = no update because its the last vversion when the 6.0.1 it was out since long time in all europe. i understand by this on this websit are not good version of firmware not realy and totaly stock. Then its realy important for me to understand to nut put something bad.
