One Vision TurboPower - Motorola One Vision Questions & Answers

Hi guys! I wanna buy for 170$ One vision. I saw that it comes with 15W turbopower charger in package
Somebody used 27W turbopower charger? I see advertised in some websites that one vision supports that amount of power
https://www.motorola.com/us/motorola-turbopowe-27-wall-charger-with-usb-c-to-usb-c-data-cable/p
27W-TurboPower™: Bis zu 7 Stunden Akku-Power nach nur 15 Minuten Aufladen
https://www.motorola.de/smartphones-motorola-one-vision/p
So what should i believe? That One Vision supports 27W but comes with 15W for cost reasons? Or they wanna sell some 27W chargers to make the phone like Note 7, sammy of course
Thanks!

Was wondering if there are alternative wireless chargers that work at 15w?
The official Huawei one for the Mate 20 Pro is over £50 on Amazon.

Have you seen the CEX deal on pre-used ones? https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pr...0-collection-add-150-for-delivery-cex-3210220
Alternatively, Anker makes great products and does one for 35.99:

Funny enough I on the off-chance checked CEX and saw the price. I've ordered one anyway. Just concerned it doesn't come with a plug or cable. I've got spares but I want to get the proper charging speeds from it.

My "used" one for £20 from CEX got delivered today. In the box with all parts still in protective film including the plug!
Happy days and impressed with the speed it charges at too.

Hi,
Huawei P360 Pro required 15W charger for Huawei SuperCharge.
I ordered this charger: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Vinsic-Stand-15W-Wireless-QC-3-0-Wireless-Charger-with-2-Charging-Coils-Type-C-USB/32848129760.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2ef04c4d0SQTtC
I'll write here later if fast charging works.
Thankfully I have mine from my 20 pro deal. It's been in it's box since day1
I bought this one. SuperCharge for Huawei P30 Pro does not work.

When you say it doesn't work. Do you mean not at all or if charges at a standard rate
Charger doesn't work for fast charging Huawei P30 Pro (15W needed). I used the original Huawei charger, the original Huawei cable, then the cable from package.
I bought this one. http://https://mx.gearbest.com/chargers-cables/pp_009634537833.html?wid=1433363
I bought this one for £13.26. "Wireless quick charging" is displayed when using the supercharge adapter. (purchased separately)
Has anyone been able to confirm a wireless charger that actually charges at 15W?
The best I've found, I measure at approx 10W

The answer my friend is 1) The charger you buy has to be capable of Qi charging 15W or above and 2) The supply MUST come from a QC 3.0 (or above) charger adapter with a suitable capable lead attached to the base.
Smart chargers and plugs/wall warts rated at over 1A but not QC 3.0 rated will NOT give you 15W charging on your wireless pad.
I hope I explained this clearly. It is a minefield out there and sometimes it would help if manufacturers made it clearer what's required.

I have both and it does not work. It works at 15W for samsung.
When I ask the mfr, they tell me that Huawei uses a proprietary method to achieve 15W so their "Qi compatible" charger wont work at 15W.
Measuring the INPUT power to the charger, it is about 9.8W
If you have a 15W non-huawei brand charger that is working with the P30 pro, can you let me know the mfr and model number?

Many third party charging pads claim to be 'fast chargers', but 15W or above is only achievable with what I stated previously. The third parties do, mostly, say that you require a "QC 2.0+ adapter to achieve 15W charging" and most of them do NOT supply that adapter.
My understanding on the 'proprietary' thing is that it applied to earlier phones than the P30 (i.e Mate 20 and before) but the P30 and P30 Pro are fully Qi compatible. A QC 2.0 plug in adapter and a base that is fully Qi 15W or above compatible is all that is required. The offical Huawei branded one will charge any other Qi phone at 15W if the phone is capable, so it is not down to some proprietary thing unless Samsung and other manufacturers are in on the proprietary thing too which would mean it isn't proprietary.
Nilkin Charger 15W with cooling fan
I just got this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/15W-Fast-Q...Samsung-10-S10-Wireless-Charging/254321262871
I can confirm that it DRAWS 15W with a QC3.0 charger. Only 10W with my QC2.0 charger.
I also got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S6MVPVL
It only DRAWS about 10W
I am assuming the output power is close to the input power.

I couldn't find whether the adaptors above, do support pps or nor! Have you got any suggestions?
I suppose you could look for reviews or discussions on those particular adapters or search for detailed specifications. Or search Amazon or generally for adapters with keywords PD 3.0 and PPS. Most modern power adapters usually specifically point out PPS support in their specs.

The links above do not include any information whether these chargers support pps, although they are good gadgets.
I have had issues with trying to find a 45watt charger which will charge the S22u at the Super Fast Charge 2.0 rate. I probably ordered 5 different chargers and none of them would work @45 watts even though they supported the PD 3.0 PPS standard. When I contacted one company support team they said Samsung tweaked the PPS standard for the S22u.
As it turned out, I had an Elecjet 65w charger that charges my S22u at the 45w Super Fast Charge 2.0 rate. While they no longer sell that charger, they have a newer 45w version that does support the S22u (several Amazon reviews confirmed this).

The cable should be fine. The cables I'm still using that was included with my s21 and LG V60 both provide Super Fast Charging when paired with a capable charging block. Anything from aukey, ugreen, ravpower rated for PD 3.0 and Super Fast should be fine. Samsung has a conservative charging system compared to the Chinese brand phones from Hauwei, Xiaomi, and Realme.
I have a BASEUS 100W GAN charger that works with the Samsung S22U. It's standard PPS. Also some noname 120W GAN charging hub I bought from AliExpress. Both indicate Superfast Charging 2.0 on the S22U when I plug them in.

The reality is a 100% fully supported charging brick and cable will only get you a < 10 min decrease in charging from 0 - 100%. With most of the speed gains in the 0 - 50% time being reduce by like 6 minutes and then being pretty much negligible after, as the phone throttles to protect the battery from overheating.
To get everything you probably would need to go with the Baseus.
https://a.co/d/17Oxq7U
and
https://a.co/d/7OIbSPf
or get the most purchesd (implying some reliability) 100w PD 3.0 charger and use the cables you have and get 90% the same results with Superfast Charge vs Superfast Charge 2.0

Question Charger ?

First Ever pixel phone and nowadays don't come with charger what charger you guys recommend. original google or something from amazon .
Also i only have a 15watt at home
Need a PPS charger for full speed. At least 30W.
The Google one is fine if you want official.

Anyways, I never had wireless charging. Which wireless charger is good and reasonably priced - the Google one is not.

I rarely fast charge anything, I normally baby my batteries and just use very low wattage chargers, but I do own an Anker 3-port (2x USB-C 100W charge, and one USB-A, whatever that's capable of). I mostly use it with my tablet when I need to, but I've used it with my phone once or twice.
Using an Anker Nano II 30W charger here (PD/PPS), although most of the time I charge my phone through my laptop (C>C) to keep heat down.
Question would a s21 ultra charger fast charge on pixel 7?

Yes. The Warp 65W charger supports USB PD 3.0 PPS up to 45W (phone will charge at no more than 23W)
OnePlus Warp Charge 65 Power Adapter NA

It is ridiculous that these companies can get away with selling a high price device without a charging block. Here is your brand new car, you will need to bring a gas can if you want to drive it off the lot. We do not supply gasoline as the time of purchase.
I recommend these 3 chargers:
Google charger, 30 W, USB-C only, 29 € (I own this one, works well, uses PPS, but makes some tiny noise sometimes)
Samsung charger, USB-C + USB-A, 35 W, 23 €, uses PPS as well
Wicked Chili charger, USB C + USB-A, 33 W, 25 €, GaN (I own this one, too, it also uses PPS, it's very small, but I'm not sure if it's available everywhere. In Germany, it is.)
I've got this Anker charger https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B016LPMFUA
But I've been charging the Pixel 7 Pro with an old LG Nexus 5x charger Which seems to charge a little faster than the Anker.
I was a little hesitant plugging the chargers in at first but after asking around ye old internet it seems both chargers will do the job fine for now. I'm at a loss which replacement charger to buy next though as there are so many to choose from.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Charger-Charging-Adaptor-Compatible-USB-C/dp/B0B4VY7WDH
This is the one I have, bought for my S21 Ultra last year. Supports 25W so I would hope it charges the S7 Pro fast enough. Ridiculously fast charging doesn't appeal to me, as it has a big negative impact on the battery. I charge my phones overnight at normal speed.
I have an Anker Nano II Pro (20W) in my travel bag but for overnight charging at home i use an Anker power strip with build in USB A ports that charges slowly in conjunction with adaptive charging.

Question Is it worth to upgrade charger?

Hi recently I've been reading a lot about charging pixel 7 pro and got confused. At the moment I'm charging it with Samsung EPTA800. Would I benefit if upgraded to a charger with PPS? For example Anker nano 3?

But does it have PPS as well? as the Samsung I'm using now is 25w PD3 but read that pixel 7 pro benefits a lot from adapters with PPS. Just question is what's the gain?

Probably not, no matter what i have charged mine with it always seems to charge in around the same time. I am currently using a 30W Anker Nano III for home and the 30W Google one for travel (thanks to the slide down earth pin on the UK one making it more compact) and neither charge significantly faster (or cooler) than my Anker Nano II Pro, Anker Nano II and even an Anker power strip with a USB A connector still manages to charge it in just over a couple of hours and that is only 15W. The phone is limited to 23W and then it doesn't stay at 23W for very long really.
This is a good read
You still really don't need that Google Pixel 7 30W fast charger
Pixel 7 charging tests reveal very little benefit to buying Google's 30W USB PD PPS charger versus using an older plug.
www.androidauthority.com
Thank you. Yes I saw few articles and reviews saying that it doesn't benefits from 30w charger and now I'm using 25w one. It seems highly improbable, and to what end, why would they "hold back" on a feature like this, given the sales lifetime of this type of device (maybe a year for new sales, the ones they mostly care about)?
Google seems ok with their charge rates, for now, from where I sit. It could play into wanting longer overall battery lifetime, too, for warranty and such, it's hard to guess on some of this (without some fairly closely held info, IME).
TBH though, I mostly charge wirelessly, for some years now, and that fits 90% of my scenarios (charge overnight and top off in afternoon on desk-stand, as needed), so I rarely even reach for a plug anymore. I'm not running out to the bar at the last minute with others as much though, these days, which is probably a factor (phone usage model for any age, demographic, role, whatever, really), for me...
Using an old Samsung one, works great. Same for the charging pad in the car. As they all exceed or are near Google's specs don't worry about your choice.
0-100% is happening in ~2Hours here with 25W PPS. So ig 30W doesn't gives any benefits at all!? (Overkill!?). My PowerPorts III was 12€ each. That's a really solid Price compared to other Chargers from Anker with PPS...
Considering it tops out at around 23W the rest is overkill. I guess Google suggests 30W because some chargers may overstate their capacity.
Great guys thank you for clarifying that and saving me from spending extra money
I had Google charger, now I have Baseus charger 120W and Samsung 25W. I connected all chargers to two power meters and I charged my Pixel 7 pro. The fastest is Samsung. 25.9W This is the max what I got. Baseus around 25W. Google charger was the slowest 23.6W.
