Coming from the Pixel 4 XL I miss the especially the portrait capabilities on my new phone. Any experience with gcam and configs? I have mixed results with urnyx05 and arnova, especially using any configs.

Using this on Pixel Experience latest build(4th June).
Ported by back.rider555 for the Nokia 7 plus but working flawlessly on my whyred as well.
Slow Mo 240 fps working, 4k video recording with stabilization working as well along with front flash in night sight. Thanks @back.rider555

Currently using a pixel 2 xl as a dedicated camera phone was and I'm using Arnovas V1.7 Gcam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.7.190716.1800.apk
As a gcam mod for much better photos
Was wondering if anyone is able to let me know if the same gcam APK works on the pixel 3?
This is directed at someone who already has it installed as I don't want to put anyone through the hassle of installing it to test it

Pixel phones are the source of these gcam apks. Hence, you should not need any gcam mods as you always have the latest, greatest and most stable (hopefully) as a pixel owner.
For instance, my Pixel 3 Camera app has the version 6.3.026.

So I decided to pitch the two most stable Gcam 7.3 for Realme X2 Urnyx05 and Parrot043
Two top Gcam Porters! There is no winner or loser here but in the video below, you can get a few nuggets
that will aid your personal preference.
for now, Urnyx05 Gcam 7.3 seems to have a better point and shoot without any tweaking than
Parrot043. I just hope that Urnyx05 will port in more features as I have seen so much improvement
from the v1.1 till now v1.4 but on the other hand, Parrot043 has already ported more advanced features,
to the point that it can get Boring or confusing if you don't know how to tweak Gcam advanced settings so,
as you can see, it boils down to preference already.
These preferences even start from the porters themselves - what they feel is important or not may
likewise, be or not be important to you.
Keep it in mind that it takes a lot to port Gcam and these guys are not paid to do it so, give them the kudos
And once you found the porter that is likeminded to your preferences, you follow that Gcam.

You can try UltraCam mode (UltraCVM) for realme x2. Its a working gcam mode, and for getting some better resolutions you have to play around the settings.

I have been using a few different versions of the Gcam on the Find X2 pro and all of the features seem to work.
I'm not sure if portrait mode works very well though. However, one think I can't seem to get to work is the Oppo Find X2 Pros optical 5x zoom.
Does anybody know if there are any working versions of Gcam with the optical zoom working?

no doesn't work, it's locked for the moment, but you can follow the op7 or op8 groups on telegram to get more info. as the op8p and x2 pro use the same sensors. Or go on the dedicated threads here on XDA. Once i get mine on wednesday, i will dig deeper into it.
Would love to give gcam ago if we have a good port to use.
