Sony 3D Creator port
A more recent port of Sony 3D Creator for non-sony devices. Includes better algos and some new features (like "Face Mimic" or Face Blending).
Requirements:
1. Android 8.0+
2. Decent cpu/gpu (recent mid-range chips should be enough)
3. OpenCL and Camera2 API support
4. ARM64 device (Sony doesn't include libs for other archs)

Hi, I also have the same problem, error:

Could you share with us the android \ data or android \ obb folder of the app with the data already downloaded?
Another solution that I recommend is to log in with your google account in a Sony smartphone and download and run the app, so for the Playstore the app will have been "purchased" and can be run on other devices with the same account.

You can download version 3.0.A.0.18's OBB file and rename the proper place for the version code and use that OBB file. That will work fine, at least for me.

The .obb file goes in the Android/obb/com.sonymobile.scan3d directory. Rename the file to get rid of the -1 and the app will now run and scan, but on my device, it scans and seems to generate a model, but it never gets saved, it just goes back to the main screen of the app. The app has file access perms.
i've a xperia XZ1C running LOS 17.1.. i can't install regular 3d Creator.
This one seems working but i've issue by logging in.. it just doesn't work.

Great app, pretty impressive what it can do. Although I'm having issues with focus - it is fix focused on very close distance so I get blurry textures and probably scanning could be better as well. Anyone facing same issue?

Sony's PlayStation Mobile for Android just went live for certified devices last night. But what if you don't have a certified device, which so far includes only a number of Sony phones and tablets as well as the HTC One series? Heck, I have a One series device - the EVO LTE - but turns out it's not certified. That's just silly.
Not a problem - if you have root on your phone or tablet, getting the PSM (PlayStation Mobile) apk to work is a matter of pushing a few files it relies on to your /system directory and rebooting. Original credit goes to XxXPachaXxX - I used his work from a few months ago, took out some extra unnecessary Bravia engine stuff, and repacked it into a flashable zip for use with the PSM.

On the Nexus 7, I was able to play the free game and successfully tested a paid game called Fuel Tiracas. They both worked wonderfully. I also bought Samurai Beatdown, but for some reason it didn't install right (I tried 3 times but the download just said installation unsuccessful, hmmm).
Unfortunately, PSM crashes upon loading the store front on my EVO LTE. If you're not using a certified device, don't be surprised if it crashes on yours too - after all, it wasn't certified and, therefore, not tested.

Download and install the latest PSM apk from Sony. I mirrored the current version, 1.0, here:

Note: Just to be clear once again, you have to be rooted to install the helper files com.playstation.playstationcertified.jar and com.playstation.playstationcertified.xml. If you're not rooted yet, first figure out how to do so to your device and then come back.
Flash the zip from custom recovery, like ClockworkMod or TWRP. This relies on having busybox, which if you're rooted, you likely already do.
Alternatively, if you don't want to flash from recovery or just like to know what you're doing, you can perform the steps manually while booted into Android:
Unzip the zip file downloaded in step 2.
Copy playcertetcpermissionscom.playstation.playstationcertified.xml to /system/etc/permissions/ on your device.
Copy playcertframeworkcom.playstation.playstationcertified.jar to /system/framework/ on your device.
Set the permissions on com.playstation.playstationcertified.jar to 644 (read/write, read, read) using your favorite file manager or command line.
Reboot.
At this point, PSM should work just fine and you should no longer see the error from Step 1. Go register for a Sony Entertainment Network account if you haven't yet and try playing some games.

Yes, i downloaded the full permission version, clicked on Apk with Oi Filemanager, installed and when i click it, says camera crash :/, but gallery works

If you sure its arm v7 , you just push it to system and it will start working, maybe signature is not good with your android, also you can patch signature verification always true like many other custom roms for smoother apps feeling.. or sign it with your working key

There is no virus the file has been checked before being uploded. It just might be a warning

APK has been updated to the latest one
This APK won't work because Epic Games can detect the different signature and kick you as soon as you enter gameplay

Instructions:Note: This app is signed with my certificate, so it is not compatible with other versions. Backup your data and remove any other Sony3D Creator version before installation.
All updates get signed with the same cert, you can install future versions without removing the app.

ok I managed to get the 3.0.A.0.32 Version working... just download obb from 3.0.A.0.30 Version and rename it to match 3.0.A.0.32 Version Code which is 6291488 so (main.6291486.com.sonymobile.scan3d.obb) become (main.6291488.com.sonymobile.scan3d.obb) and you are done .

This means the obb file was not found. Check path and file name.

Download obb file and place into Android/obb/com.sonymobile.scan3d/
Getting same error, same version. Scan completes but when it tries to process it i get "did not buy" error. Obb is in right folder and name.

Thats strange. Can you give more information about your device and OS? Maybe try rebooting or denying the 3d Creator app internet permissions.

Sorry, uninstalled soon after trying multiple times to make it work. Denying internet should work i think, someone should at least try it.

It works perfectly for me on AOSP 10, with and without internet permissions. I suspect the problems are caused by buggy custom roms or android 11, but I could not investigate further yet.
on behalf of myself and any other passing folk who are equally ignorant... what does this app do ? it sounds like a drawing app but more advanced, is that accurate ?

No, you can scan faces and objects with your camera and it creates 3d objects from it, which you can export as obj files and more. I could not find a better 3d scanner app for android, it uses itseez3d technology, which is not available for android otherwise.
