Introduction
MortalOS you are going to flash is still in the testing phase, which means you might end up flashing the fastboot rom to fix issues. Before releasing it to you I spent some considerable time testing it. But caution is a caution!! Our idea here is to make available the latest feature with minimal bloatware and better performance. The focus will be on stability than making the rom feature-rich. As a miui based rom we will be working very closely with other custom ROMs to port their ideas and contribution. This rom will pack minimal gapps and have less customization. I am iterating, my focus is on "Stability"!!

Pre-requisites
Always be safe, make a NAND backup
Be decrypted, else you need to format your data partition, (Internal Storage needs to be backed up if you are encrypted!!)
Latest Orange Fox/Oranagefox 10.0.6/SHRP/TWRP
Clean Flash Installation
Wipe all except internal and OTG
Flash your latest MIUI vendor from Raphael Devices or Indian Raphaelin Devices
Flash ROM
Flash DFE/ DFE+Magisk combo file
Reboot to system
Be patient during the first boot

Bug Reporting
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

How? I can't get volte to enable in neither the settings or the "*#*#" configurations menu from the dial pad. It's all disabled. On AOSP ROMs, both volte and Carrier video calling is enabled and can be toggled.

I didn't bother making some, I moved back on CM12. If someone is able to provide me with some screenshots I'd be grateful.

Probably I will call you for a test of pure AOSP rom, i just compiler the kernel under aosp source, it's booted fine, once i fix wifi and home button, i can build the entire rom and see

It's a rather fast rom. Battery seemed a bit better than CM. Didn't use it much. Still in alpha state.

Is it stable enough for daily use?

Good job!
The ROM can be used for everyday use even if it is in alpha!
There are no annoying bugs.
I have found some little issues:
- I cannot go to recovery from the reboot menu: the device reboots normally
- there are no traffics arrows in the wifi and data icons in the status bar
- sometimes the device seems freezed with low responsiveness

These issues need to be worked by the source. I already have them in the device tree, but they were seen as "not existing" in the framework base.

Substratum and edge gusture supported or not??

Just want to know a few things.
Does this ROM support signature spoofing coz i dont use GApps. Unfortunately a few apps i use require play services so i need to use MicroG
Does c2api is enbled by default ? Or switch is given.
Assuming Volte & dual 4 G is working coz they are required for day to day working having dual sim in use.
One out of topic question but any ans will enhance my knowledge.
Do we have pie compatible xposed ? Coz want to use xprivacyLua to fine grain control.

2. No sound in Speaker mode in during call.
3. Auto brightness reduces the brightness to minimum after locking and unlocking the screen.
and also if I disable auto brightness, then the brightness resets itself to maximum.

Dual 4G (volte) not working.
Search bar at the home screen doesn't work. Cannot type anything or cannot remove it.
Otherwise ROM is smooth.

Looks really good so far, except that I can't figure out how to get rid of the "No Sim Card" with everything greyed out in network settings. Can anyone please help? I'm on wifi and it looks like a really cool ROM. Thank You.

I want the device encrypted! Does it work for anyone? In my case the phone interrupt encryption.....

I did some investigations, and found out that rebooting with the light theme completely fixes this problem.

Rounded corners are embedded into framework. Maybe on next version it can be adjusted.

Welcome to LIQUID REMIX! Liquid Remix is a New age mix of all the best ROMs of today with added essence from the older days. Android 9.0 project based from the old lead dev of Liquid smooth, Liquid0624, along with VenkatVV, and community contributors! Recommended Clean Flash:
1. Go to Recovery "Wipe"
2. Factory Reset
3. Advanced Wipe
4. Dalvik/Art Cache, System, Vendor, Data and Cache ONLY!! DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE
5. Swipe to Wipe
6. Flash Rom and Gapps (Then anything else you might install such as Magisk, etc)

yshalsager, Please consider bringing SkydragonOS Pie to Whyred. It's an awesome rom, full of exciting features.

I installed but after the liquid remix logo there was a password required and Auto reboot redirecting to TWRP. I couldn't use the rom. I tried wiping internal storage too but it didn't work.
Any thoughts?

Could not find a way to change wallpaper. It only suggests live wallpaper, which I have little use for. Please include a gallery app with the next build.
You should also use another A2 camera module. The one installed now renders FP pretty "sensitive" to touch on home screen.

2. Does signature spoofing work? (LineageOS for MicroG requirement)
3. Is Camera APIv2 active?

Already holding my breath... As of today, ROM is unusable due to the FP/camera bug (very annoying). Just changing or uninstalling camera won't help. It's on the system level. I've found out that it can be introduced to any other ROM w/ MiUi camera by flashing FPshutter module. And it can't be gotten rid of, at least on the user side.

Nice more kernel development progress

no sound on videos and really laggy on bith saved videos and youtube, music player sound works.
edit fixed i had magisk module audio libs, i disabledz rebooted, played a song n itt works now with now lag either
on derpfest

Working flawlessly on aosip. Will report bugs (if I get any) and battery life after couple of days.

dint work i posted on tg, i need to play a song to get sound to work and it only lasts for one video

Smooth as f***. With 75hz combo is amazing. Only problem is video/sound bug. HAVOC.

For those who's asking if this will work on miui eu 10.3.16 it will not work and maybe other miui versions too. It just rebooted back to fasboot after flashing.
It's ONLY for custom aosp roms I guess for now?

It does state only custom but a note that it's untested on stock, so guess this confirms it :good:
