Just wondering how it works on this device, and in general as I'm thinking of trying for the first time ever.

I'm using a mi band. It works without any problems. The mi app is ok-ish, unfortunately there is no way of using the mi band with other apps. For the price I'm quite satisfied.
The only problem is that the band seems to drain my battery much faster. I guess bluetooth LE is not fully implemented into the opo rom atm. The phone still survives a full day without problems. But before I was able to pull three days out of the battery when needed. The battery of the band is awesome though. The promised 30 days are not a lie.
Up24 works for me now. Had an issue with Up app messing up my GPS rendering Waze & Google navi inoperable. Downloaded AppOps from Playstore and turned off Up app location services and solved my problem.
Happy tracking.

Are there any good option to have sleep tracking with the Huawei Watch 2?
I now it isn't in the standard, but I miss it from my xiaomi miband[emoji22].

Sleep as Android.
But I didn't use it. As I believe every vendor will have to calibrate the device for its software. (Every device has different sensors and design)
Be prepared that it wont work as good as the miband.
i'm using sleep as android..working great for me-got it syncing with google fit as the huawei app doesnt allow for syncing.
It pulls in my respiratory rate, heart rate and sleep patterns
Yeah I try it but sleep as android need my mobile working all night, or maybe do I need to change some configuration to avoid using the mobile?

Yes, you have to have the phone charger plugged in the hole night on the night table. Have it on flight mode and just use bluetooth to connect to the watch. It is the watch that is sensor for the sleep tracking.
Thanks. What it hasn't sense it's that this hasn't been included as default in a smart watch with more than 300$ when it's included in 10$ Xiaomi Smart bands

I think it also is sad that the sleep tracker isnt included in the watch
Huawei has now added a Sleep app for the HW2 and HW2C that shows up after you update your watch to Oreo. To use it you need to install Huawei Wear and Huawei Health on your phone, I believe.

Yes exactly. Received Oreo over night and the new app is called TruSleep.
Is there any way of forcing the ota update to Oreo?
Hello everyone. Greetings from Brazil!
I am going through a very embarrassing situation with my Gear S3 Classic: Every time I walk into (or worse: out of) a store that has one of those anti-theft tag security systems, the systems beeps, like if my watch was a stolen thing. I believe it may be related to the NFC or MST interfering with the detection system, but I also have a Galaxy S7 with both radios enabled and never ran into any problems.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anybody have a clue on what may be happening and how to stop it?
I have already tried to disable NFC in settings but it won't stop it from beeping. This thing is really annoying...
Thank you all in advance.

Stupid Question...
If you shutdown the Watch...
OFF
Then same problem?
Only to be sure no RFID Label or something else is inside...
Best Regards
That happened to me the other day in the mall and in some stand alone stores. I wasn't sure if it was the watch or the Note 8. I joked about stealing stuff on the way in the store.

I need an aid. After rooting the mate 9 without any problem, I did wipe data, the 3 crosses that appear in the image, the cell rises well, passes the Huawei logo and is stalled in looking for update, does not reach the account part of Google, one hour leave it and still looking for update

Best to keep it as it is.
If every update comes with its own thread then the forums just going to be spammed every month.
One thread to contain all software updates and discussion would be better
The number have different scheme than last month's
Hoping this update contains a lot more fixes/improvements!
Hope so..
Slow starting camera....
Hope for the fix of 4k video recording stabilization. This doesn't exists at all for now...I am expecting many other bugs and enhancements.

Irrelevant to this thread
Anyone else got the update? So far nothing for CE1.
However, those are only copy paste of Google's security patch, no changelog because in fact there are no other changes, no fixes for the issues...
In this matter X1 is device abandoned by sony, call reception is weak, my calls sre hanging so the person I am talking to cannot hear me. Check dBms, signal reception is so poor...
My last device from sony. Company abandoned the users, so users abandon the company.
The only thing we can hear of is more and more apps to be decommisioned, Xperia Longue until end of month, what's next?
I hate stock Android.

What's next? Probably more of their apps that hardly any one uses.
Phones only been out a couple months so give it time for more meaningful updates. If you have issues with signal and call hanging then take this up with Sony and get a new device

How is the X1 "abandoned" while they have just released an update? If your call reception is weak, do some troubleshooting first.
Sell/return your X1 and get a new phone. No need to announce your departure.

Here in Spain Xperia 1 have score more hight in down speed and signal.
it must be your carrier's problem
Enviado desde mi J9110 mediante Tapatalk
Complete & utter nonsense, the Xperia 1 is "abandoned" because we got the August patch and that's it?... At least we're actually getting the security patches on time, if you've owned a Xperia device before you know how Sony do things, instead of rolling out half-assed fixes that don't hold up or become more buggy (Samsung) they take time to fully resolve the issues then roll out the updates
Sony put so much emphasis on the camera's of the Xperia 1 to show they're listening to consumers, they made it clear to us that the Alpha team is working closely, although this is irrelevant to the topic, it's hard to see such ignorance and say nothing..
I'll also like to add my signal is fine in the UK on EE :good:
If abandoned, why Xperia 1 will have Android Q in October November and others in 2020
