Some way to prevent one app steal focus of another app - General Questions and Answers

Hello, folks!
I'm new in this forum, so I registered just to ask this specific question:
Is there some way to prevent one app steal focus of another app?
I'm a ride share driver, so I work with both the ride share app and Waze app open at the same time, but constantly, close to the end of the trip, the ride share app steal focus from the Waze app, and sometimes I totally lost my way, having to stop the car, and manually give focus to Waze again.
Besides being very annoying, this is very dangerous, because sometimes is impossible to stop the car in a safe place before switching focus again.
This is something that's really driving me crazy (literally) since I started driving ride share apps, so I desperately asking for your help for this problem.
My setup:
Motorola Moto X Play
Android 7.1.1 (Rooted)
Thanks in advance!

[APP REQ] Navigation Assistant

Hello everyone! I am hoping I can either get some ideas on what I could install, or maybe inspire someone to develop an app
I am a frequent traveler and I started out in my job always bringing my phone, mp3 player and gps. I started consolidating and with my old Blackberry and ditched my mp3 player. When I got my Motorola Droid I was excited to ditch my gps as well!
The problem is I am so used to using my Tomtom. I would click navigate, find a destination either by entering in the address, or going to a point of interest and either searching for it specifically (like target) or looking at a list (like food).
With Google Navigation is there doesn't appear to be a defined "front end". I can use a massive amount of apps to get me there, like Yelp, YP, Where, Google Places, or just a Google Maps search it self.
What I would like to see is a front end application that allowed me to search points of interests either in my current location or a defined location. Let me save these as favorites, show me a history of where I have been and let me search for a POI along my current defined route (ie, finding food along my route between the airport and hotel).
There is a free app on the market called App Launcher and while it has some great ideas, it isn't it. Am I missing something obvious? What does everyone else do?
I use telenav for this. I get it free from Sprint. Otherwise there is a fee for it.
I prefer it better than google maps for this reason. It also makes it easier to control the route I wish to take to get there.

Gps tracking system

Hi there.
Is there any good app that can track my phone using the gps system?
I will be travelin' for a 1500miles and I want my wife not to worry and know where am I, using the google maps. Is there anything like this? that my mobile x10mini pro can be seen on google maps and tell my position.
Google Latitude should do the trick.

Also look at Glympse.com

Fameelee - Family Locator will perfectly meet your needs. This app actually developed for families to help them to stay in touch 24/7 negleting the distance.
Within this app you will be able to track/being tracked real time location as well as location history for the last 30 days, stay in touch with your loved onces with in-app chat, get gps notifications once your wife gets some specific places, send panic alarms with your current gps location and video of your surrounding etc.
In paid version you can even track sms and call logs of your family members, get notifications if someone of them speeded and so on.
So give it a try and I believe you'll be impressed with app's feauters.
P.S. Mostly gps tracking apps drain phone battery quickly but not this one (tested and it takes only 3-4% of your battery life)

[Q] App monitoring?

I was hoping that someone knows of an app that can alert me when my son installs or deletes an app. There are certain apps that I don't want him having access to, and it seems the trend I'm hearing from other parents is that the kids will install the apps when they are away from home and delete them before they get back. I think I found a couple spy apps that will monitor installed and deleted apps, but they also track the text messages and gps location etc... but I'd rather not pay a monthly fee. I don't want to spy on him necessarily, I just want to make sure he's not installing apps that he's not supposed to. If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great!
Thanks!
Mike
Nah, I just pay the $5 a month for family base. Just tells me who my son is talking to, what apps he installs, and allows me to put time/data type restrictions when I feel it's appropriate. Doesn't show the actual texts or do location tracking. But I finally went with that because of the serious lack of parental controls. If my son wasn't stock I'd probably have tried out other apps.

Remote app for parents

My mom is a first time user for smartphone user. While I have been trying to teach her, there are still some gaps. So looking for an app where I can help her remotely. Additionally kind of security app too, where I can track/ turn on gps etc. Any suggestions?

How to stop anyone spying on my phone?

Hi, I am having some problems on my phone. Recently, I saw some duplicates of my files, some were missing and my mobile has become real slow. I see synchronization more often than before this might be the reason my data package gets exhausted fast. It worries me as I don't install new apps just the standard ones. I have doubts that one of my friends did that because they use it occasionally. How do I know if someone is spying and how do I stop them?

Hello, first thing to do is scanning the device with a anti-spyware app
To avoid everyone spying on your phone, you should always keep it off.

I used the first app Anti Spy on Google Play and it found Android Spy app but was asking me for premium version. I found this quick guide on stopping someone from spying on my cell phone in my following list and fortunately found this app in running services. I uninstalled and rebooted the mobile and it's working fine now, came down friends were trying to peek me for prank.
