Curved edges are unresponsive when trying to record voice message on Whatsapp or Telegram. When the short touch is fine. Hold is not responding. Were you like that too?
Same problem here! I think it is the 'Google Assisent' swipe gesture feature, you can turn off Google Assistent, but you can't turn off the 'gesture'. Hope this will be updated soon!

Hi
I've got 1 big question. Few days ago I bought Oneplus 3 and it's great phone I very liked it especially gesture on off screen, basically I even noticed that I'm using this feature so often that the function auto on screen began to irritate me.
So here comes my question is it possible to turn on screen ONLY with power button? I mean is it possible to disable turning on screen when I lift it or swiping finger down and up?
I apologize in advance for my English and also I thanks in advance for help
Hello Guys,
Whenever I am using keypad on OnePlus 6 with Gmail or WhatsApp the phone suddenly navigates to home screen or switches to a background app.
I am not accidentally pressing any button on navigation bar, I have observed this issue several times.
It's only a week since I purchased the phone, I have even checked it with hard factory reset. The problem is not resolved.
Kindly let me know the solution for this.
Do u have gestures for navigation enabled?
No, it's just a normal navigation bar right out of the box.
I'm not using the gestures
been facing the same issue since last week when I first got my hands on the phone. Up until today I still think that I unintentionally pressed the navigation (home or recent usually). But sometimes I look at my fingers, it seems abit too far to actually reach the nav buttons.. any updates?
Hey guys, my gesture navigation is broken. It’s taking my swipes from whole 1/3 of the bottom screen. So swiping web etc is pain in the ass and playing games is actually impossible, because when I try to control anything on that sidetof display, it just goesrto home screen or back...
Is there anyone with same issue, or do I need to contact support?
I actually solved it! I had to switch back to buttons, restart phone (without restart it didn't work) and then I could switch back to gesture navigation. Now everything works as it should be.

I suggest always restarting after switching to navigation gestures. On the 6T, when I would switch from buttons to gestures, swiping from the bottom would register input on the keyboard (if it was open). It would go away after a restart.
I hate that there's no haptic feedback
Hi fellas,
Very happy with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but I'm constantly alternating between using buttons and gestures to navigate, because when in gestures, I often accidentally trigger Google Assistant, or, I should say, I get prompted to activate it, which I don't want to by any stretch. Disabling it is one of the very first things I did when I set up the phone.
I suppose gestures are to some extent hard-coded in Android 10, but isn't there a way to prevent a thumb slide upward from the bottom left corner from causing the prompt to activate Google Assistant? Like, remapping that area of the screen or something? I like gestures, generally-speaking, but this one mishap that brings the prompt instead of closing the app I have on-screen is enough to bring me back to using buttons instead.
(Yeah, I know, I'm clumsy.)
tl;dr:
How do I disable touch input on the cover screen while a call is incoming, so I don't accidentally reject calls ?
Full:
I just recently got a Flip 3. I have a dealbreaker "feature". You can answer and reject calls from the cover screen by swiping.
When outside I keep the phone in my pocket, in folded position. When a call comes in and I try to pull the phone out I *always* accidentally reject the call.
I know I can completely disable the cover screen, but that is not what I want. I want to use the cover screen to see notifications an time.
How do I disable touch input on the cover screen while a call is incoming ?
Alternatively; how do I disable touch input on the cover screen while in my pocket ?
The main screen (and any other smartphone in the world) has a proximity sensor, so the screen is off, even when a call incoming, if the phone is in the pocket. Not so the cover screen.
When the cover screen is disabled I can still answer calls by opening the phone and reject by pressing the power button. I *really* don't need touch on the cover screen.
You do not have any option to do that. only with a custom-made cover screen to do that.
Could you nod me in the right direction for coding custom cover screens please ?
@Juuushiro is telling you to physically cover the touch screen with some kind of jerry-rigged case hahaha not software.
There's two cover launcher apps for our flip 3
One is CoverScreen OS
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ini-phone-includes-native-lockscreen.4382335/ (Paid app)
and the other is SamSprung TooUI
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/samsprung-tooui-cover-screen-home-free-zf3.4328953/ (Free)
but I'm not quite sure if they can do what you require or not.
@cproo12 I got this last week and lovin it, you can slide a cover over the screen.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to disable touch input on the cover screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 while a call is incoming. However, there is a workaround that may help.
You can try using a third-party app to disable touch input on the cover screen. One such app is "Touch Lock - Touch Blocker for Video, Kids and Kiosk", which is available for free on the Google Play Store. This app allows you to temporarily disable touch input on your device.
To use the app, you can follow these steps:
Install the "Touch Lock" app from the Google Play Store.
Open the app and grant it the necessary permissions.
When a call comes in and the cover screen lights up, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the notification panel.
Tap the "Touch Lock" notification to enable touch lock.
The app will now prevent touch input on the cover screen, so you can safely take the phone out of your pocket without accidentally rejecting the call.
Keep in mind that using a third-party app to disable touch input may impact the overall functionality and user experience of your device.
