What Gimbal can I use for the Xperia 5?
Many 3-Axis Stabilizers cannot clamp to the Xperia 5.
DJI osmo 3 works as a basic stabilizer.
It does not connect to mimo app which allows active tracking but u must record in mimo anyways to use that and.. well none of us are going to record with mimo instead if cinema pro.
So although I can't connect via Bluetooth to the app just due to no app support, using the osmo gimbal as just a simple gimbal works great.
Xperia 5 clamps in superbly.
Although you lose your fingerprint reader and volume down button behind the clamp.
It stabilizes like a boss I am very happy with it.
I use it as an all around phone stand also, I have it clamped in right now haha.

I want to fix a broken TV remote with an intermittent fault, is there a simple program just to monitor the Infrared port of my XDAIIi of any signals? I thought of using some type of TV remote program but to constantly put it in to the learning mode would make the whole process of repairing my remote a pain. I need the program to just sit there all the time giving me a indiacation of any recieved signals. Any ideas?
Cheers
I think there is a simpler and more convinient way:
Do you have a video camera, digital stills camera or even a web-cam? I think anything with a CCD or similar sensor will do.
I don't know of any program that might help you, but I know monitoring IR for real time signal on devices that don't support CIR is a problem which is why most remote control appsm like Vito remote only support certain devices.
Does XDAIIi support CIR standard?

I don't if the XDAIIi supports CIR standard! If have a kodak digital stills camra...
Haven't you ever tried pointing the remote at the camera and looking at the display? For some reason, CCD sensors show infrared as white lite...
It works both with my old Sony video camera and Olympus digital stills camera. You can see the led light up as if it were a regular lightbulb, even in daylight and with the red plastic cover still on.
This should be perfect for your purpose.

Cheers for that.
Hi, i tried it out on the camra on my XdaIIi on does what you said, cheers!
At last a use for the crappy XdaIIi camra!
Glad it works for you!
I just remembered that they used to sell Sony video cameras (around 98 I think) with infrared light built in for shooting in the dark. It was pretty neat, since you could see everything through the camera like 'night vision' yet others couldn't see you. Also you could by a separate light for models that didn't have the built in option (like mine).
Hello, any tips on a remote control for the camera?
I have seen the selfie sticks, and wonder if there is a proven "remote only" for the native camera app?
Kind regards, Vozie
Haven't seen anything about the stock camera app, but I do know that some 3rd party apps like A Better Camera allow to use the talk button on a headset to operate shutter.

If you have another android phone as well, try the app named sharelens.
You place the one phone for taking the shot on eg a tripod , and use the other phone to take the pic via wifi remotely. You can even focus and see live what you are taking and at quite a distance. As long as you are in wifi range. Quality depends on the camera taking the picture and it is wirelessly transferred and recorded on the phone used as remote. I have taken some shots which would have been impossible with just one phone. Try it if it was what you meant [emoji13] [emoji2]
I have got this. Pair it via BT and you are good to go. Works with any BT device, some apps have problems with remotes and do weird stuff. Default app, however, works like a charm. The ios button works like zoom in button.
As for buy link, I can't help
Got mine last summer in China. EBay is your best bet.

Only thing u need is root and tasker-app and any bluetooth headset with buttons...
After watching a few YouTube videos I now understand that the dual feature of the Note 8 Bluetooth has nothing n to do with Bluetooth 5.
Bluetooth 5 is simply a combination of Classic Bluetooth (2&3) coupled with Extended Bluetooth (high range with lesser throughput).
In other words, for the dual Bluetooth feature on the Note 8, it would appear that there are in fact two separate BT reciever / transmitters.
Can anyone verify this?*
Second question is, if this is true, how likely will it be that either software or an app can take advantage of this, and split stereo channels to two separate Bluetooth speakers, thus giving true stereo sound in the home?
So I have been a PC user for like 35 years. TRS 80 was my first computer. Fast forward. The past year I have pretty much gone Apple with everything. Homepods (selling) MacBook Air M1 (selling) too. I am going to stay on my Nuc gaming rig.
Anyway... I am a family of 5, everyone has iphones/ipads so imessage is used. I hit a wall with the mac (massive bluetooth issues with logitech mouse and keyboard) and it brought me back to my Nuc LTSC and it felt like home. The main thing that has kept me on iphone is imessage but today is the first day I am thinking about jumping ship. I have the new mini and like the the size. I use my airpods a TON. I record youtube videos using the airpods as my wireless mic. Now, here is a requirement. I use an ios app called moviepro, it lets me record the front camera and I can push a button and switch to the back camera all in 1 video. Just makes for an easier flow. I also use my airpods as the wireless mic. Is there an android app that allows for the flipping of cameras and bluetooth mic? I shoot in 1080, not 4k as its not needed for my videos. Suggestions?
Thank you
Hi,
I need to record over some distance and in the field. Shouting into the phone is not preferable. I have a Samsung galaxy note 9 stock and galaxy buds (first version) and I was hoping to pair it with the note 9 but it did not work despite people saying it does. I found out that the camera app is is ver 10. It works with ver 11. I downloaded the apk but could not install it. Got this "there was a problem parsing the package". Maybe it is an android 11 and not 10.
Is there an app which I can use to record video and support bluetooth microphone over distance? I record in 4k. My setup is note 9, in phone companion mode to the pc and I stream the live to the monitor so that I can see the rear screen recording on the monitor. The monitor is also where my power point presentation is so that I know what I am talking about. Recording is limited to 5 min intervals at 4k 60fps. The phone runs hot and I have invested in a phone cooler too. If the phone is too hot, I cannot do recordings. After that, I need to remove the green screen in premier pro and use it premier rush where most of the editing is conducted. This is before taking into account reshoots. Looking at least 50 to 100 mins of teaching content output.
I have a spare S8, and wired microphone and thought of using that but I don't want wires mics or other devices getting in my way. I also want to spend as less time as possible editing the footage as I need to go through a lot of content and then put it all in the open learning platform. Also do more work there. All this in a month's time.
Thank you for the suggestions.

Searced a lot.Open camera has this option, but doesn't work Sometimes I managed it to work in combo with BT mono app.Till now only cinema fv-5 seems to work, but apps seems abandoned. If you found a solution please share.Forget fv-5.Videos are extremely giant for no reason.Just download lesser audio switch. It is abandoned, but somehow it works for me on A11 Just force route audio to BT before each video and you should be fine.
