Any custom ROMs that supports call recording by default (in dialer app itself rather than third party apps like Cube call rec) for Poco X2/K30 (Phoenix/Phoenixin), just like call rec feature of stock MIUI ROM?
You have to use magisk module to get this done
LOS has some inbuilt recording in dialer app

Hi,
It looks like 4k video resolution is not detected on third party apps other than cyanogen camera app on stock cyanogenmod 11s kitkat (4.4.4),
Could someone tell if there's any hack to get it working ? I tried stock google camera and secret video recorder app as both are supposed to record in 4k on lollipop at least but no luck on kitkat
Thanks
Hi all developers
Is there anyway to install call recording applications in android 9 pie. I checked a lot of applications of call recording but in vain. They only records my voice not of other side voice. So please suggest a good application which can record my calls of both side.
Thanks!
Can't believe nobody has fund a solution for this?
I love the pixel and stock ROM, but I need native call recording that works with bluetooth headsets.
What ROM is closest to the original google ROM and offers call recording?
Try "Call Recorder" from F-Droid repo. Don't know if it is able to do native recording, but still it is very good imho.
Recently I have updated my Samsung Galaxy A70 from OneUI 2.5 to the latest update OneUI 3.0 based on Android 11.
The most common usage I do on my phone is recording lectures in my university using the Samsung Notes app. While the lecturer is talking, i use the attachment button "camera" to take a photo of the powerpoint slide and add it to the notes at the same time i am recording the lesson so I can find the timestamp later.
I cannot record the audio and open the camera at the same time. When the camera app opens, the recording stops. But when I open another camera app (not the preinstalled Samsung Camera app) then the recording doesn't stop.
This is why I have installed and made default application for camera a third-party camera app, the GCam port for my phone.
Everything worked fine until the update.
Apparently based on the following post, in Android 11, I cannot choose a default camera app.
How Do We Set the Default Camera App in Android 11?
In Android 11 Beta 3, Google is blocking the ability for third-party camera apps to handle photo/video requests on behalf of other apps. Interested developers can read the release notes for the rat...

-Is there any way to fix this?
-Maybe Remove the preinstalled camera app and add GCam in its place?
-Any other program that takes camera photos and records at the same time with a Notes Replay feature (similar to Notability? Samsung Notes has this feature)?
-Any way to set the default camera app?
Anyone any ideas?
My workaround is to open the 3rd party GCam app and take a photo..this way the recording doesn't stop.
Then go back to Samsung Notes app and insert the image that I just took.
But it is very non-productive and slow.
Are there any roms that have this built in to the dialer?
Yes,you can install derpdest with android 12,which has the option to record calls
