I have the T-Mobile US HTC U11 Life.
So far I have only found two working TWRP images [HERE] and [HERE] that will boot but there seems to be an issue with the touchscreen.
The bootloader is unlocked and I have S-ON.
No answer means: No?
Already tested these?

I tested the nougat file on my u11 life (Android One) today.
Running newest Stock Android 10.
TWRP is booting up and seems to be working for the most part.
But no access to internal storage.

I think it's not possible yet at this point. The software is too young and we have to wait the developers do their thing.
P.s.: me either I'm waiting the root of android 10, though the software is very better than Pie

Hi you.
Can you guide me through each stage?
Hi,
I wish to root my Samsung SM G960F under Android 10.
My goal is to recover more data and more particularly conversations on the Whatsapp and Facebook application.
Do you have a comment to give me, please. It's urgent.
Thank you in advance.
Can't wait for proper instructions for this...

Is there twrp for android 11 at all for any device? If no, what is the main reason?

I hate to say it, but I fear so. Also the change from physical partitions to dynamic--everything in "super" partition including system(/_a/_b) partition(s)--is another change that's makes the TeamWin guys' job harder. It means the Linux kernel can no longer even mount the filesystem, so it's a big adjustment. Wish I could put a positive spin on it. Makes one appreciate the options we *do* have more, at least!
I tried rooting my oneplus 7 pro using magisk with two different boot.img both time the device got soft bricked, wi-fi stopped working no volumes at own. i did get root access but i loose wi-fi connectivity and audio of my device.
I tried factory reset after rooting but it won't fix issue either.
I am currently on Oxygen OS 11.0.1.1.
Anyone having same issues? Or your magisk root works just fine? Any other way to root my OP7 pro.
A device's Android is rooted when SU ( AKA root ) is present.
Since Android 6 by default Toybox is part of any Android distribution. This Toybox release is restricted, means SU subcommand isn't supported. Hence all you have to do to get Android rooted is to replace pre-installed Toybox version by Toybox v0.8.5 what isn't restricted, will say contains SU support. Only requirement: ~200KB free space is available in /vendor/bin directory.

I tried, it worked I got root but it's not optimal, I had battery issues and the phone also runs a little sluggish.
So I reverted it back to stock using the MSM download tool.

Is there any guide I can follow? Or could you show me the steps?
Need help if someone with official UI 3.0 update extract the firmware with ofp format so we can flash the rom. I'm tired of waiting, this regional sh** is killing me. Thank you in advance.
Hey, I can do it if possible ! As far as I know without root and unlocked bootloader, it seems rather to be complicated. By the way, I updated my phone, almost 5 days ago. I don't if the zip file is still there ...
Let me know, how can we do it

hi. To backup a firmware or system rom, it is advisable to root the device first because we need to access SU command from pc and need twrp to perform backup as well

I don't know, it's the latest version, which almost everyone is using, but I don't know if it's beta.

Hey, for the RUI 3 update you posted, did you tested it? Somehow it's buggy and I have to go back to global version. After boot, it stuck on the first page of configuration and my screen is not responsive to touch.
Does anyone know if it will be possible to port the app and the desktop mode of the stock rom to external roms? i was using evo x A13 and everything works great, the performance and battery are much better compared to the stock rom and the customization is excellent but the only thing missing is the desktop mode of the stock rom. Trying to connect via hdmi, only a navigation bar appears on the screen and it cannot be used, could a developer solve this?

It's the same thing when I used Samsung, VoLTE in Custom ROM, because it's an Exynos processor it can't work in Custom ROM except Stock, it's the same thing with For Ready, it won't work unless Stock, only if some blessed figure out how, but I doubt there's no solution
You can use Termux / Linux distro as your desktop experience. Anyway, in developer tools you can activate desktop mode, but it's very poor
