I have this weird and annoying problem with my new Samsung A51: while playing chess in the Lichess app, 7 times out of 10 when I move pieces there is no sound.
Why can it be?
The sound itself is a short click, and my very old Xiaomi played it perfectly after every move, but Samsung A51 just ignores it most of the time.

Okay... I am on my third i760 replacement in two weeks.
First one, which I had for a year, started having touch screen issues, it just wouldn't recognize the taps.
Second one, a refurb, right out of the box, won't calibrate the touch screen correctly. After several attempts, it is consistently reading my screen taps 1/4" in higher than where I tap.
Now they send me a brand new one in the box with accessories and everything. Touch screen works PERFECTLY on this one, BUT....
Some of my sound effects aren't working. The sound works overall, play music or set ringtones or whatever, but some sound effects don't work or work intermittently. For instance, I enable the tap sound for when I tap on the touch screen. But it won't work. UNLESS there is another sound already playing. I.e.: if I have music playing with WMP, the tap sound works when I tap the screen. But if I'm just sitting at the today screen, no tap sound no matter how I try.
The issue is strictly with very short sounds. It's like the speaker isn't responding fast enough.
After playing with it some more I realize that any really short sounds it's like only the very tail end of the sound plays, you can just barely hear it, but if I cause the sound to play repeatedly very quickly, then it will play fully. For instance, the screen tap, tap once, and if I hold the phone to my ear I can hear a little sound, but if I tap a bunch of times in a row I will get the full tap going for each touch of the screen.
Is there some kind of buffer or other setting that maybe I can adjust in the registry that might affect this?
Even several hard resets did not resolve this issue. This phone already has the latest ROM version available from Verizon. I called them hoping they might be able to point me in the right direction, instead they said they would have to switch me to another phone. They offered me my choice of XV6800, XV6900, and Saga. I really don't want ANY of those phones! He said if I want to wait they may allow me to direct trade to a Storm or a new slide out keyboard WM phone that he wouldn't name or give me any information on... I'm sure he was talking about the Touch Pro. Free upgrade!
But until that day, do you guys have any suggestions??
Hello,
Recently acquired the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet. Beautiful tablet, pleasant for armchair reading.
However, the sound does not work and I can't remember if it ever worked.
The system sounds (like clicking keys, or is that a separate vibration function?) do work, so speakers and drivers seem to be working.
Tried all the obvious things, like checking sound settings and all seems to be OK. But no sound with YouTube videos.
Would be grateful for any helpful suggestions

A simple reboot did the trick.
Thanks.
Hi,
I'm currently having a really weird problem with my Samsung Galaxy S6 (Android 5.1.1.). When I plug in my headphones and play music in my standard music player, after 20 minutes or something, ALL my volumes are starting a party of their own:
- Google talk (I'm not sure if this is the correct name of the app, Spraak in Dutch) is opening and closing itself 20 times, and keeps talking through my music that she is listening to what I'm saying
- Music volumes are turning themselves up and down, if it's going up and I'm pushing the down button I'm battling against my phone - and the phone wins
- My ring volume is turning itself to the maximum, while it was on buzzing
- This is all happening at the same time, the only solutions seems to be turning off the phone. If I close all the apps they just open themselves again.
Obviously very annoying, please help!

Hello, I have an Irig 2 and I'm trying to use it with soundcamp. I can't find any support for soundcamp so I'm hoping someone has corrected my problem.
When I use any effects soundcamp (besides ampitube, which ironically works great) on my guitar, I get constant cracking and popping every time I play a note. I placed my phone in airplane mode and shut off all other apps. In addition, I also get cracking and popping everytime I playback any guitar recordings . Regardless if I have any effects on. Please help!!!
I have a car that allows me to pause, forward, and view information on any device that's has Bluetooth 5.0. wife's s9 and my older iPhone 8 allow me to do this. Recently got a pixel 2 (that also has 5.0) and when I connect to Bluetooth in the car, none of the music/podcast info shows up on the screen, and when I try to pause whatever is playing, it stays paused for 2 seconds and automatically starts playing again. The other devices allow complete control through the vehicles control system without touching the phone.
Why is this happening? Am I missing a setting? Why is this the only Bluetooth 5.0 decide that doesn't work with my car controls?

The Pixel 2 dosent have Bluetooth 5.0.
Yes it does. Why say something if you’re not sure? It’s on googles tech specs for the phone.
Sorry. I own one and didn't even know it did [emoji15] The galaxy S8 was the first to get it and I confuse it with the S9, recently launched
