Hey guys im newbie this forum. Sorry about my English it's not perfect i know that.
Whatever I Have a Samsung j7 (Sm-J700H) and phone's buttons are doesn't work on phone is working. It's mean on twrp screen volume + - button's are working fine but when android is starting any button is not working (Home , back, power, volume up-down). Like i said they are working fine on twrp screen or recovery screen i can use all buttons on twrp.
How can i solve that , can u help me pls.

Button's are broken when it was original rom.
To be more specific power button is working like this [it is open the phone and lock but i can't unlock phone when is locked. Staying black screen. After that i remove battery and put it back then i can turn on the phone with power button ].
Same as me just posted recently i dont know what to do found out that somebody fixed but didnt post solution so im back to ground 0

I'm not sure if i'm posting in the right place but i was trying the Elite RC1 rom yesterday and decided to replace the rom with my old one.
Only problem is that the rom was placed very quick and now it will not boot pass the startup screen
Please can anyone help me. I'm kinda off freakin out.

Thx for the reply But i've tried it afew times and it hasn't responded to that It just stays in the HTC Pocket Bios screen.
Is there maybe away to flash the phone with a new rom without starting up in windows
Try putting it in bootloader mode
Volume down button then Reset.
When you see the multi colored screen release volume button.
Then try flashing again

Thx for the tip aussieak. My computer now recognizes the phone and it's flashing with a different rom as i'm typing.
I think i'm out of the brush but i let you guys know as soon as it's done

Well it's seems to have worked It's passed the bios screen and is customizing atm. Thanks for the help i owe you one. This is definitly going into my notes.

I've got a BIG problem
I have a Galaxy Ace. A friend of mine played with it and Since then the phone is kinda dead
When I press the On/Off button, a series of vertical color bars appear on the screen (filling 2/3 of screen) [See attached]
Screen reduces the brightness in 5 secs
Then nothing happens and phone does not respond to any key combination
When I combine volume down with power buttons, the same thing happens although this time the phone camera flashes once!
Using the Volume up button gives me two flashes!
By the way, Odin recognize the phone on a COM port, but I don't know what I can do with that?
I also tried ADB REBOOT RECOVERY command in Android SDK as recommended by someone in here. It says DEVICE NOT FOUND
Does anyone have any idea how can I restore the phone to a normal state?

any Ideas? I'm very worried about the phone
Try holding homescreenbutton and on key. Recovery menu should turn up. Then perform a hard reset
I just bricked my ace today and there was no way I was able to fix it, the closest I got was getting the device into a 'connecting' state in the samsung kies software but didn't got any further, no screen no nothing..
Eventually I went back to the store and they replaced it without asking too many questions, I told them it died while doing a factory reset.

Yes looks like the ACE still got problems, my friend's ACE also hangs alot.
My problem is that I can't see anything on the scree (see pic above) I dpn't know what state the handset is in!!!
Any one has a link to a recent firmware for ACE that works?
Weird, don't know if the resistor trick that works on the Galaxy S could also apply on this model ?

n den suddenly the phone switched off
now its not turning on
i tried pressin the
VOL DOWN + HOME+ POWER KEY
inorder to go to download mode n re-flash it but
nothing appears on the screen
the phone is not responding at all
my cell was rooted
plz someone help me.......plzzz

Rom manager? If so your phone is dead. Do you honestly think selecting software meant for another device will work? Rom manager does not support the galaxy ace, yet. You've now ruined the partitions and so far noone has managed to get a successful unbrick. Make up a bull**** story and hope you get the phone fixed in warranty. Tata.

Pls help me, yesterday i do a factory reset by pressing volume up button + home button + power button, the screen stuck with little android with box and arrow for many minutes without progress, then i remove the battery for awhile. but when i on the hp, the same screen display again without any progress. Remove battery...re-insert it. Now press & hold Home & Power buttons together until phone switches on. Now u should enter recovery & format ur phone thereby

Thats gr8. If download mode works then u don't need to worry at all. Flash stock firmware via Odin & everything will b alright then.
Btw download mode is accessed by pressing & holding Volume down & Home & Power buttons together. You'll see "downloading" written under a yellow triangle:sly:.
Note: First ensure that u know what u r doing, then implement those steps. Using Odin unknowingly may produce some undesirable issues

I don't know that but I can tell you that I used that thing and it worked for me although after a reboot my phone was in the same condition but it was good for me since, I was able to take backup of my data.

Tern off phone with hold press vol down and power and when turned of connect charging cable and press vol down with vol up in the same time you will go to bootloader then flash stock
I such you have that issues with twrp of you fixed it tell me

Dont say dont work im such you im have serched for this issues fixs more than 4 haur
Serch in youtube how to openA7 2018 bootloader
And dont lost you need to tern off phone then go to bootloader
If you pressed down vol with power in first 7 second it will be restart dont stop of pressing if the screen blacked for second time press vol up & down in some time
-Without power!!
And need your phone change with cable when you do all of thise↑

Hey,
I have the same problem with the bootloop and the corrupted locking screen. I'm able to boot into download mode, but I can't figure out which system to flash. I tried several ones, but none of them worked... and I can't get back to the factory recovery. If somebody has an idea which recovery system could work I would be very pleased to know.
Software used to Flash: Odin

Hey , you gotta help me out here please !! i am not able to boot into download mode.
press all buttons at once (volume down + volume up + power button) until the screen turns black. Than immeadiatly press volume up and volume down button and insert cable connected to pc.
