Anyone try to add additional locale or language pack?

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone try to do a language pack besides what Dude has been doing. Can someone suggest steps to accomplish the tasks? There is software called Ailocalize out there that helps to localize Android 1.5. Has anyone successful done yet? Thanks all in advance.
