A working GCam for our beloved ROG Phone 1.
I saw this on youtube then I tried and it seems to be working well.

Hey Devs & people using OPO!
After years of using OPO, I still feel that my phone is still capable of running for another couple of years :fingers-crossed:. Since, I'm an avid photographer, just wanted to know if:
1) Is it possible to port the Pixel 2 Camera App to Bacon?
2) If point 1 is ever achieved, would Bacon be able to live up to the Pixel 2 Camera App?

If someone tried, a partial port could be possible, but not full functionality..

That's true, but OPO still is capable of capturing HDR shots, right :fingers-crossed:
So, it would be great if somebody from the wonderful Dev's could take the burden of bringing the awesomeness of the Pixel 2 Camera app to the Bacon world & we could leverage on all the goodness

Don't think it is possible due to no camera2 api for our device...just look at latest google camera for example none have manage to port it due to missing camera2 api...
Simply put, no.
Camera2 is not supported and even if we just wanted a working camera and app without it, Google Camera hasn't been updated for 32-bit ARM devices in over a year.
Hello guys. I bought my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro one month ago and Im very satisfied with the device except when trying to post instagram stories they end up playing like 10-15 fps and video quality is very bad.
I have tried Pixel Rom and it doesn't do that, it posts the video smooth as original and video quality very high, but the problem with the Pixel Rom is that the notifications of Instagram won't work properly.
Can somebody help me to fix the stories problem

Hey, I was having the same problem, I solve it by downloading an older version of Instagram. On my redmi note 5 (global version) the version of Instagram wich worked was 35-0-0-0-96, you should try this or another old version, don't forget to disable the automatic download of newer version on the app. Good luck
Have a some problem. Who know how solve bad video quaility and fps in instagram, without downgrade version ?

They say to use the port of the Xiaomi Mi 9. There is a youtube video about it. I'm good with the camera as they have improved it quite a bit since it came out.

Got the GCam 8.1 update via playstore a few weeks or so ago
Cinematic pan is present
I did get it via Play Store update as well.
I wish the update would have brought Night Sight Portrait mode, but I guess it's exclusive to the 5G Pixels, unfortunately.
I got it too weeks ago through playstore. Have been playing around with the CinematicPan. Its good. Im hoping, someone makes a better version of it for pixel devices with more controls and features like cameraPX.
