I need a ROM that does not use Wear OS to link the phone - Huawei Watch 2

I have recently exchanged my previous phone for the Huawei p40 Pro, which, as everyone knows, does not have Google Services installed. The problem arises with my watch, a Huawei Watch 2 4G, since now I cannot connect it to my phone because Wear OS is not installed. In other words, is there an alternative rom that allows connecting the watch to the phone without needing Wear OS? Thanks in advance, mates!

Try to install google services in your phone, it'll be easier than change the ROM from your watch...
Check this:

I have tried several times with other methods, but with little success because they did not work well or had limitations or, simply, the changes were unstable. I didn't know this method, but I'm going to try it, see what happens. Thank you very much mate. :good:

As I was already afraid, the installation does not work. Google makes every effort to abort any unauthorized installation. Thank you so much anyway :good:

First of all, you need ROOT.
Then use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56016096&postcount=1902
If not successful, the hard way: https://translate.google.com/transl...e-nomera-iz-proshivki-huawei-emui/&edit-text= (I was unable to find the original english version).
Also, you can try other Caller apps, like EX Dialer, Pixel Phone, or True Phone (which I am personally fond of). They are not showing chinese yellowpaged numbers.

Download an app from the Google Play Store called "Secret Phone Info', it's made by Creative Collective, LLC.. After you downloaded it open it and tap "Hidden Menus" and then tap the very first 1 at the top called "Universal Menu" and then you'll be able to get into the phones settings to change that stuff but be careful what you do with it..

I only gave it so you could get into the setting to change the Internet nothing else on it works yet but the universal menu for now... root not required. You should be able to see this... "Set preferred network type"..

Marshmallow at first was bad on the battery I was only getting about 3 to 4 hours screen on time before I had to go and charge it again but I have since found out that if you do a full factory reset so there's nothing on the phone before accepting the update that it fixes the battery problems for some reason and right now I'm getting between 9 to 12 hours screen on time and the phone is a lot better now after disabling all the bloatware. You should be fine using Odin on Windows to flash the latest Marshmallow 6.0.1 version with no problems.

Make sure to make a backup first using Smart-Switch that you can download on Windows that way after you update you can reconnect to Windows and tap restore and it will put all your stuff back! Make sure you have the stock firmware for OJ3 too just in case! My guide here will give you an idea of what you have to do.

That's good! Glad it worked out for you.

What antivirus is more advisable to download on my smartphone?

I would like if it is important that my cell phone has one, and if necessary, which would be the most recommended, both free and paid, if possible.

Adaway has a basic adware scanner. If your device is rooted, this is one of the first things I'd install (for various reasons).
I'd also consider removing all Google apps and nearly all Google components (and all bundled apps from the phone or tablet manufacturer) if I wanted to remove a real virus.
Plus have some semblance of performance and privacy.

Can anyone help me to modify this apk?

Hi,
I use an app that have ads by the developer to monetize it.
It was fine, until latest versions. The developer introduces ads all over the app dificulting the usability. Is there any way to remove the most anoying of them (like one marked in attached image) and left the others untouched?
Im agree to have ads to help developers, but in some cases like that are used abusively.
Can anyone help me to modify the apk to do this?
Thanks
now thats a Huge ad...name of app ?
is your phone rooted ?

choose update package problem

After enabling choose update package (tap 8 times on the miui logo in the update screen)
When I tap on it it gives me 2 choices whatsapp and google drive
When tapping whatsapp it says the file format isn't supported
Is this normal?
I didn't try drive tho
Update: solution: I had previously (debloated) deleted the mi file app
After reinstalling it automatically opens and let's me choose the package
well , you cant unless you factory reset your phone if you debloated without the root method
and Xiaomi has pulled out the android 11 update for global because of too many bugs so, even after a factory reset, you cant flash it unless you wait for another update for global

Sorry, no option on MiAccount
But I've been searching and found that in deed miui is recruiting beta testers, but unfortunately (or not) poco F2 Pro aka K30 Pro is not on the devices listed for beta testing.
