Good morning, I have a poco x2 and it comes from the factory with the poco launcher, only I would like to put the mi launcher, but when I install the error apk. Can someone help me ???
Its already installed on your device, to use it long press on homescreen, select more and select system launcher as your default launcher.
You cannot install mi launcher on a poco device as of now unless root

Hi, I have installed version 2.2.9 FroyoBread and the truth is that I love.
My problem is I want to install a version of Launcher Pro Plus is different from that including the ROM and will not let me ... the message I get is "the application is not installed"
I tried to uninstall the current version but will not let me uninstall it ...
Thanks
First change your default home launcher by clearing at the Clear default in the Launcher Pro app at settings->Applications->Manage App->Lancher Pro and uninstall then reboot your phone and try to install. If I helped you then Press Thanks to me Plz.
And how do I set the default launcher? Version 2.2.9 is FroyoBread ...
I suggest you to install titanium back pro and wipe data & uninstall the stock Launcher Pro in your rom then reboot and try to install your version of launcher pro.
And to set the default launcher you have to press home button then you will get the options to select home launcher.
I have a installed xrecobery and ClockworkMod ... one of these helps me to choose the default launcher I? that option is?
Follow these steps to change default launcher and install your version of launcher pro.
1.Go to Settings->App->Manage App->select Launcher Pro in the third Tab
2. Press Clear defaults button, forced to stop and uninstall
3. Press home button and you will be asked to select default launchers
4. reboot and install your version of launcher pro
Hope it helped you.
1.Go to Settings-> App-> Manage App-> select in the third Launcher Pro Tab
2. Press Clear button defaults, forced to stop ...
up there, so good, but then I enabled the Uninstall button
Then uninstall the launcher pro using that Uninstall button and press home button in ur mobile, you will be asked to select home launcher. Now select any one of other launcher in your mobile and reboot your phone. After reboot install your version of launcher pro.
you gotta be careful though. ive read that if you uninstall the only launcher, ur going to run into some problems (ie u will get a black screen when u boot up your phone)
Hello guys,
I hope you can help me. I realy like the nova launcher + integreated nova google companion. But after yesterday the companion app is blank. I'm sure this could be not the right place to ask for help but I don't know where I could ask such questions.
I already tried reinstall the apps. Delete cache and data from the apps. Delete cache in twrp.
My phone:
Xiaomi Mi9
9.7.18/19 (Xiaomi.eu)
Nova Launcher 6.1.11
Does anyone have the same issue?
Greetings
EDIT: After some days the feeds appeared. (Maybe server issue)
Hi all,
Have mi10 ultra, non rooted, chinese rom.
Trying to set google assistant as default in setings => default apps.
After some time, by the end of the day the Mi AI is somehow getting to be the default assistant. Every time.
Maybe anyone have an idea what I'm doing wrong?
It is because the stock Chinese ROM doesn't expect to have GMS installed. It's not native but is supported. What I mean is that the GMS system base is included in the ROM but not installed or intended to be installed. That's why Google apps have to be added.
So as its not supposed to be installed, it is set to Xiaomi AI by default and keeps going back.
Only way to fix is to flash the EU Weekly or Stable ROM where GMS is fully adopted.
Thanks!
I finally decided to 'upgrade' my Poco X3 Suyra (EEA I think, even though it says 'global' in the settings) to MIUI-V12.0.8.0.RJGEUXM from V4
The upgrade went smoothly. However, now the recent apps feature when pressing the menu button does not function. When I press the button nothing happens at all. I went to 'button shortcuts' in the settings and double checked the the menu button was set to open recent apps. I switched the menu button to the other option, to open the menu on keypress. That functions just fine. I set the menu button back to open recent apps and again, nothing happens on keypress.
I'm at a loss here.
I debloated the system and removed a lot of the MIUI, Google, and misc software that came preloaded. I also went through and restricted permissions for the remaining system apps that I have no use for, but could not remove or disable.
I am unrooted and on stock ROM. Bootloader is not unlocked as I put my phone in airplane mode frequently. Also Mi Account shows my sim card as not inserted no matter what I do.
I've also noticed that my battery life is absolutely terrible now... Is it possible to roll back this update? I'm guessing no..
Thank you in advance for your help!
Does anyone know the package that handles recent apps?
To use menu button again just install Poco launcher and don't uninstall it. I assume you are using some other launcher now and in debloat process you remove poco launcher. In Android 11 launcher which come with rom must be here.

Yes Poco Launcher was removed.
I used ADB App Control to run this command on firmware V4
Code:
pm uninstall --user 0 com.mi.android.globallauncher
I then attempted to use
Code:
pm install --user 0 com.mi.android.globallauncher
to reinstall Poco Launcher.
Unfortunately this did not work.
Do you happen to know the package name on the newest firmware?
Or can I just goto the Play Store and grab the Poco Launcher from there? It wouldn't be a system app, so Idk if that would fix the recent apps issue? I notice the package name is the same as listed above.
For those that also run into the same issue. I found the launcher listed in ADB App Control under the "deleted" section of the applications window. From there I was able to restore the Poco Launcher and the recent apps are back
Hello, I uninstalled POCO launcher through ADB, now my recent button isn't working. Reinstalling it fixed the issue
earlier, but is there a workaround to fix this? Without installing the launcher? Currently using Nova launcher.
The default POCO launcher freezes(6-7secs) with no icons but wallpaper when returning from other apps(not always but it's irritating). So I want to kick this rusty nut out completely.
Did you try to deactivate the poco launcher insteat of uninstalling?
How to deactivate? You mean? Disable?
Thought it should be: Settings=> Apps=> "Poco Launcher" => deactivate, i'm running AICP, so i can not tell you the exact way, but with AICP you can deactivate (because the launcher is a System App, System Apps are diffcult to uninstall, only with root ) AICP Launcher, and this should be able with stock, too

No such option, even in app info.
