Hello !
The bottom of my screen is completly black but the touchscreen is still working.
I went running with my phone in my hand and the weather was vert cold. At first the bottom half of my screen was flickering/grey and then it went completly black
What I already try to solve the issue :
- install TWRP and wipe everything
- disconnect the battery from the phone
Any thoughts ? How could I know if it comes from the motherboard or the screen?

Hi all, I've got a weird problem. The last 3 days my screen has been acting strange. Phone is working without problems when suddenly the hardware buttons won't respond any more. After a few seconds the screen goes black and stays black. Buttons are still lit, but don't respond. But the strangest part is that the drawer stays visible and can also be used normally. I mean, I can draw the notification area down and let it fill the complete screen. So the screen itself doesn't appear to be broken.
Also, when putting the phone to sleep and awaking it again, I can see the normal screen a brief moment, maybe half a second before it goes black again. Restarting the phone is the only thing that will help...
I've cleared Dalvik/cache hoping it would make a difference, but it did not. Hope someone has got a clue?

I'm rooted on OxygenOs 1.0.3/Android 5.0.2.
Hi everyone,
After I dropped my phone I had to change the display.
Only after I've changed the screen another problem surfaced: the screen becomes unresponsive (like it enters slowly in sleep mode) and pink lines apear.
The display is OK since I reinstalled the ROM twice and the install screen work without fail.
It looks loke an overheating problem.
Has someone else seen this behavior?

seems you have installed screen not correctly, I mean the ribbon has a small amount of circuitry and components. did you check those?
When installing and configuring Android there is no problem, just after it starts the problem begins.
I flashed a custom ROM into my 2din android device and it turned to black screen and nothing appears on it, just a black screen. I tried to go to the recovery mode and I couldn't see anything on the screen , black all the time. I noticed the side buttons of the 2din blinks for a fraction of a second every minute.
Please help me to solve this issue .
Screen appears to have died.
First it started with a vertical line of wrong colour pixels, it was this way for a few months. Then half the screen went white and later that day the screen died.
It flickers white and pink for a split second in the top right corner when you wake it, but then goes off. Otherwise the phone works as screenshots and apps respond, and responds to touch.
Don't suppose anyone knows any dirty tricks for fixing it that don't require taking it apart? Like heating it or something?
Hi everyone, i have a weird problem: my phone's screen works perfectly, i can use it in recovery mode and download. It shows also the boot logo and the battery level while charging (if turned off). But when it loads the os the screen turns black and i don't know what to do. I wiped data by recovery and flashed an official rom with odin but the screen remains black.
The phone is 1 year old, does warranty cover this?
