The link worked for me just now. Took my serial number and was able to get the download.
Thanks for the link
Downloading it now

this is the wrong thread for a ROM . plus its all over the ROM AND DEVELOPEMENT THREAD...
I just installed this ROM from one of the mirrors, now it seems I have a ringtone file size limit, the ones I'm trying to use range from 638kb to 757kb. I was able to use them before the update. I could press and hold and set it to default, if that would even work, but I'm using these for individual contacts.
I've already tried changing HKCU/ControlPanel/Sounds/FileSizeLimit to 607200, but no luck. Any ideas?
EDIT: I'm starting to wonder about this ROM, my ringtone issue, now I've learned that SMS messages show up in TF3D, but not in the inbox, the orange 1 notifier is not going away... not enjoying this so far. May have to hunt for the old ROM.

no need for mirrors anymore. It looks like its up for REAL this time.
Weird, am i the only guy who can't see .wav ringtones in the ringtones menu under setting? i only got 3 of my 40 to show up there and their all under 100kb.
is there some new file limit? i can still use my ringtones if i use the file explorer to set it for me.
Got the new and improved ROM, SMS works fine, haven't noticed yet if I'm connecting to data after a call, still having ringtone issues. I cut one ringtone down to 300kb and it still doesn't show up in the drop down menu to set it as an individual contact tone or to set it as my generic tone. I can tap and hold to set it as the tone, but that's not what I'm going for.
It was nice of them to make PTT button reassignable by default with the new ROM however the option to use it to Lock device is absent

Opera Mobile won't run after update
After applying this update to my Fuze without apparent issues everything seems to be working as expected except for Opera. The 'Opera Mobile' splash appears for about 20 seconds and then disappears. Has anyone else seen this behavior?
I can receive, but not send sms. After an hour on the phone with att tech support, she [thinks that she] figured out the problem.
I need to set in a "message center" number (it currently says "not set".) The problem is that for some reason it is greyed out on my phone. She didn't know how to get past that.
Samsung was of no help either.
I am using a vibrant on 2.1 unlocked (tmobile phone on att.)
Messaging -> settings -> message center
I bet someone on here knows how to ungray it!
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
I spent a couple more hours on the phone today. Called samsung again. They had me do a hard reset without the sim card. That didn't work. They told me to contact tmobile, since it is their software. Tmobile couldn't do anything, but told me to have att do an over the air update to the message center number. Att tried to do that but said they couldn't because it isn't an att phone with their software on it.
There must be a way to do this on a root level. I'm just not sure where to look, or what to change. Some one must know
Fix for you
Ok I figured this one out...
You do have to be rooted for this to work, and you also have to have an XML editor (I DO NOT recommed Notepad as it may alter formatting in a way that breaks the file alltogether. Tested and verified using Visual Studio as the editor)
Using Root Explorer or whatever is your preferred way to browse the phone, browse to the file:
/dbdata/databases/com.android.mms/shared_prefs/com.android.mms_preferences.xml
Then copy it to /sdcard so you can see it from your PC to edit
Find the key named "pref_key_manage_smsc_address" (at the bottom)
Change it from Not Set to 12063130004 (That's for T-mobile, or whatever is correct for your provider)
Then copy it back!!
I strongly recommend keeping a "known working" copy of the file in case your editor messes up the formatting.
I did not have to reboot or anything after this process, the number showed up in the (still greyed out) Message Center but text sending is working again for me!!!!
Wow thanks for the fix. It worked! I was able to do it all on my phone using:
'Root Explorer' to find and copy the file
'SilverEdit' to edit the xml to enter the message center number ( att +13123149810 )
Dang! I put it into flight mode, and when it came out, it reverted back to"not set."
I did find a perminent fix though. I walked into the nearest att store and asked for a new sim card. It turns out to be a sim card problem.
That fix does work though as a temporary problem solver.
*Another Fix
Hey everyone, I was experiencing the same problem with the grayed out Message Center.
What I did was actually go to:
Messaging -> Settings -> Restore default settings
Then the Message Center was no longer grayed. I went in and entered
+16135009000
I then actually had to change the phone numbers by adding a +1 in front of each before I was able to send out a text message again.
Hope that helps.
Is the message center only on stock rom? cuz im on axura latest rom and i cna't find message center in the settings in messaging. Also I can't find the xml file using file manager as well. I was sending txt find when i unlock and used it on att for a day and then my friend delete my apn username so that it "block my data" so i can't used data. Turns out i can't send txt after that. I also restore it to default apn and it not sending my txt. I can received txt though. I switch to my SE w580i and i can get/send txt again. if you got any answer for the vibrant, i would appreciated.
Finally i got it . after all the frustrations and such. Apparently. you HAVE to use root explorer. all other file manager can't access beyond dbdata.
I just received the Galaxy S 4g today, and had this same problem, sent 1.5 hrs on the phone with T-mobile, they told me i had bad phone and they would send me another, i told them i would try some things and call back later, I finally found this post and it worked perfectly for me, except for my phone the path was different, /data/data/com.android.mms/shared_prefs/com.andriod.mms_preferences.xml
edit it with "Blue fish editor" for Linux
Thanks again

I was in same situation.. S7 edge freedom mobile. Able to recieve sms but not able to send.
Solution : install this app (sms fail fix) by Andrea.
Open it. (no need to do anything)
Restart phone.
That's it.
Now try sending.
Mine got fixed.
(my question lies offset below, incase the reader wants to skip my paragraph and use it as reference. I had to type it all to give background to where I am now)
I have a DROID2 from Verizon Wireless running Android 2.2.3 Froyo, and have owned it for ~a year. One Day in early 2011 things started going wrong, like vibrate wouldn't work on messages (sms and email, using GoSms), my stock battery manager that told me % usage since last charge would crash when clicked, gmail and calendar wouldn't sync. I talked to a friend, backed up my phone, and reset to factory settings. then, he said that rooting was amazing, so I broke down, rooted my phone, backed it up with Droid X bootstrap recovery, and thought it was great. then my phone started to continually boot in recovery mode, even after I removed root and bootstrap. it also ran strangely sometimes and would be slow, but I figured that was my impatience. so i decided one day to root my phone (using z4root), use a root explorer, search my system files for ANYTHING with "recovery" that to me looked like that stupid bootstrap placed (because i read somewhere it made a file and it stayed in my system) and deleted those files. now, I have new problems:
apps that I had a few days ago (8-16-2011) and have NOT updated won't work on my phone from the market. the market app does not give me the ability to download, and online it says its not compatible with my phone, which is bull crap because I downloaded AND used the apps the day before, but deleted and wanted them back. some apps include: facebook, Heywire (2.6.1), and Adobe Flash 10.3. I reset my phone to factory TWICE yesterday in attempt to fix. when the phone first loads, the OLD market is installed, which I used to download Heywire before the new update came, which then said the SAME VERSION of Heywire is not compatible. there are also a few minor errors I have, the stock email app picture doesn't show in status bar, it is very slow, etc. I am currently NOT rooted and NEVER flashed a Rom. My friend said that I could just replace some files and it should be fine. Also, I have issues when powering on my phone. when I turn it off, to turn it back on I must 1. turn on 2. wait for Motorola "M" screen to dim 3. remove battery 4. turn on and wait for boot up My question is:
1. How do I figure out all the files I need?
2. Where can I get these files?
3. Is there a way I can get root access and just copy paste ALL system files back to the phone as if it is fresh out of the box?
Hello experts.
Let me explain my problem completely.
I've got a n910h which was android 4.4.4 and I flashed the 5.1.1 android version on it myself.
And after that I rooted it and had no problem.
But once I read a thread about volume boost of note 4 but I wasnt sure about which serie of note 4 it is for. But I think once I read in that topic that it's for "c" series which contained two system files; 1. Default_gain.conf and the other one default_gain.conf[stock].
So I cut my default system file and paste it to other folder, then pasted the new system file.
But for no reason I wanted my stock file to replace it with the downloaded one. But I didn't delete the downloaded one, just overwrited the stock one on that and everything was messed up. No call sound on both sides, but the video player was ok.
So downloaded the stock file from here which I repeat I didnt know if its supposed to work on 'h' series. But I deleted that one and put this one instead.
Everything turned back to normal.
But after 3 days, now on during calls, the person's voice is hearable but he cant hear my voice.
Another thing is that when I restart my phone and rapidly call someone before apps load, they can hear me no matter how long I talk. But after one call, the next calls, my voice doesnt reach to the person.
I guessed two things:
1. Its the system file I messed with ( but in this case, system files are completely loaded after phone is started so I think this isnt why my mic doesnt work in calls)
2. An app is doing this due to its permissions given. (Because after apps are loaded, the calls turn like this
Does anyone have any fix for that?
Can anyone please upload his n910h, default_gain.conf system file?
Note: Ive tried to flash to the same file I used to upgrade to 5.1.1 with odin, but it was stuck on 'connecting' and doesnt let me to flash it on downloading.
Thanks already.
Does anyone have any solution please?
So ive got a spint s6, bought from dubai, unlocked and rooted apparently. After a couple of days, my phone woulndt start up cuz it was FRP locked. OK so i searched for the original firmware, i flashed it and my phone booted up again. i flashed also the 5.1.1 and 6.0.1. Here s the thing, on 5.1.1 i can make calls, receive them, receive text messages but i cant send texts at all, so my guess its that its not unlocked anymore. On 6.0 doesnt even have any signal so forget about it. I just want to resolve this issue. I cant find the setting that could help me to change the message center at all, i dont have that option in my phone, i even tried to change things with some adb commands but still nothing. So after all my guess its that the phone isnt unlocked anymore and if so, how do i unlock it? i just cant give the phone back cuz i dont live in dubai, im like a day or so distance with the plane so i just wont go back there again. If anyone could help me...please do so...im on 5.1.1 now, unrooted, i can root, i just cant send texts and i dont have the messages center
oh and also i tried the galaxy tool method from idoneapps which apparently wont work at all and im concerned about paying for that thing if it doesnt work so...yeah
