Call bug
Can anyone report if the call bug that makes the microphone and earpiece muted during calls is fixed? Since 11.0.3 update I have to use the speaker or a headset in order to make calls. And I know it has been a somewhat widespread issue on this specific device and other xiaomi phones after the update to Android 10
Update: just installed the update. Phone is working perfectly now in regards in the calls

Xiaomi term "beta stable" means stable release undergoing slow rollout. Every new update is beta stable at first. Either rollout gets pulled due to issue or simply is declared stable with no changes.
I got the update today, but it is now rebooting for about two hours after i installed it. Guess i have to shut it down and hope it doenst get bricked..
Edit.
Nevermind, i shut it down via the powerbutton it restarted itself and booted up within 10 second. Everythings fine.
The update is quite buggy, not recommend. The title of Settings is a mess. And an unusable Mi Browser will pop up and you cannot remove or disable it.

Yes, I had the same situation. Maybe the update was rolled back when users started reporting bugs.
update is back and not boot after upgrade... long press power button helped...

In call volume is low, could be a lot higher. And yes, the default camera often takes many attempts before it takes a photo so definitely two issues that need to be looked at.
In the meantime, 'Open Camera' works much better.

Has anyone experienced a lot of random reboots, both on this and the previous builds? It only seems to happen, when the device is connected to Wi-Fi. Me and @Wendigogo have both experienced this. For me it was so bad, that I saw myself forced to go back to CM13 to get a stable ROM again. Doing a complete wipe and reflashing did not help.

Yes, I have experienced that too. Fortunately I'm covered by LTE in places I spend most of my time.
I feel that these random reboots are related to specific Wi-Fi configuration : no reboot at home (2.4GHz, mainly in 20MHz bandwith) and a lot of reboot at work (5GHz, dunno bandwith used here if someone knows a tool). I still need to make further investigations like using Wi-Fi at home for a long time.
Enjoy !

Yes lots, I could not get past installing all my apps. I am not that technically minded so I didn't know how to submit logs. I feel back and gave resurrection a go which seems to be working out fine, I will try lineage again in the future.

It’s probably a programming item in MIUI 10... plus the fact that no themes made for 10 with notifications exist yet (or are very limited). My notifications light works so not a big deal. We’ll see what the next release gives us... I would assume they will try to drop a new beta weekly or bi-weekly. Haven’t been following how fast the China releases came out. Did anyone also notice or maybe it’s me... notification shade doesn’t change either with theme?

Yep, worked perfectly. Installed on a TA-1046 bought in Belgium. Used latest ADB and image & procedure from the other thread ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/nokia-7-plus/development/ota-nokia-7-plus-ota-links-t3818774 ). Didn't do a wipe or anything.
First boot took a while, got me a little sweaty hands when it sat at the white "Nokia" screen for a few minutes but that was probably normal, since it came alive after a bit and booted right into Pie.
First impressions are pretty great. It looks good, some good improvements (new way of handling volumes, new DnD, adaptive battery, navigation, ...) but what's immediately noticeable is how buttery smooth everything feels. I thought Oreo ran really well on the 7+ but Pie seems like something else. It breezes through the interface like I've never seen it do. Could be confirmation bias but I don't really think so
All in all, pretty happy with this.
Hello guys, here is a simple manual installation explanation for Android 9 Pie. You download the OTA file underneath and packs it on the root memory of the external SD card. So no folder or something. Then you restart the smartphone and it will show an update notification. There you click on it and says install. If you leave the app, the app will disappear but it will still be installed.
And if you want to have it installed a little faster and you know better then then, you pack the file in the same place and connect a charging cable and presses the keys louder and power and hold them pressed until a black screen appears and there you push then, first the power button and then the volume up button while still pressing the power button. Did you manage that you just have to select "install update from SD Card" and of course there still select the file and already it's installed. Finally, choose "Reboot".

the problem is there are no rules anymore, i remember when i came here, i could not make a new thread until i got 10 or 12 posts, heck i even could not upload the picture or yt link. moderators where far more strict and you had first to use search option. now it´s a totally mess. you have thread for alpha, beta, official builds, like its two or three different operative systems. people are making an elephant out of a fly.

Just wanted to tell you guys that the global miui 12 for our phone started rolling out , already updated mine and loving it so far!
Except I think the battery took a very small negligable hit , maybe I should factory reset?
-: Edit : definitely worse battery life , went from 10ish sot to 8 30ish, just scrolling through stuff browsing and facebook , couple hours netflix, in fact id say i used less intensive usage than my normal usage and still got worse battery
-: Edit 2 : after factory reset battery is back to how it used to be , even better

If the custom ROM's of android v11 are similar to those of version 10, i'll pass. I tried 4 different custom 10 ROM's and even though they all worked very well (and had more features than stock), I went back to stock, simply because i was unable to get Android Auto working on any custom ROM.
And I paid good money for the AA option on my car, so I don't want to have that go to waste...
Just my 2 cents, YMMV.

No one said the phone restarts by itself. We do because the performance degrades over time and this temporarily fixes it.
