Help please. Google play keeps force closing

Google play store app is force closing whenever I try to enter the store.
Google play store is force closing EVEN WHEN I TURN ON THE PHONE, AS SOON AS THE OS BOOTS.
I tried to reflash stock, reinstall recovery and reroot.Result: nothing
I tried the clear data,cache from SETTINGS->APPLICATIONS->MANAGE APPS.Result: nothing
I tried moving2sd/moving back to phone.Result: nothing
I tried to download the googleplay apk and install it.Result: nothing
Does it has something to do with the fact that I removed some bloatware apps(like softwareupdate.apk which runs nonstop and eats RAM) with TitaniumBackup? Is the GooglePlay app inseparable from some bloatware which shouldn't be removed?
Can somebody help me with the proper solution? What else can I try in order to fix this?I have galaxy fit on 2.3.6 stock.
Thanks.
If you're rooted and all I would suggest flashing another version of gapps perhaps or reflashing the same version after wiping cache, and dalvik cache.
Ok, but GAPPS contains GooglePlay plus more google-related apps, right? The thing is that I don't want all that google $hit. I just want Google Play Store.
Thanks
Then u won't b able to use it. coz it basically needs ur account info (which depends on "Google Services Framework" )+other apps. In short, Play Store doesn't run as stand alone app...!!

google play services has stopped unexpectedly

I keep getting this annoying message. It randomly appears but when it does, it shows up 3 times simultaneously. Making my phone lag so much. I am not able to clear the data of play services, buttons are disabled. Anyone have any ideas other than factory reset? I'm on stock rooted rom.
@dje20 Try to be a root user, then unistall Google Play Services with the Rom Toolbox Lite, and then download again the Google Play Services if everithing is correct, you can clear data, etc

Hi, thank you for replying, I think I did mention that i am a root user.
I have already tried clearing the data of play services using titanium backup but the problem still persists. Though I am wondering if uninstalling the app is any different from clearing it's data. I will try it soon. What I really want to know is what is causing this issue, if anyone could explain to me, that would be great. And also I forgot to mention that this problem most of the time shows up when I open large applications i.e. COC.
@dje20 Flash again vía ODIN the firmware, couse some app maybe it's cousing the problem, so try to re flash the stock ROM, and install all your apps agin, and if the FC still showing up, it's some app problem

Google play crash with CM12 on OPO

Hi all,
I updated my OPO to CM12 and the google play services can't be updated leading to the notorius battery drain plus several other issues.
It's all stock, less than 1 month old unit, what can I do?
The previous version, CM11 was great, the current YNG1TAS17L is creating only problems.
Please help.

Head into settings > apps > google play services > clear data.
After that head down to apkmirror.com and download Google Play Services and manually update the app.
This should fix the systemupdate service bug on the older version of Google Play Services

I have gone back to previous version.
Try this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psvtQB7NizI. I have had to use it several times and still have the trouble. Best case is factory wipe and reload from Google app.

Thanks for your message!
I can't access google play app crashes and I can't upgrade the app via the google play webpage.
I downloaded the latest version of the google play services (it appears to be the same version I already have installed) but I can't clear the data of that app (there is no clear data button just clear cache).
In order to install the apk, all I have to do is select it with a file explorer app (provided I have set the option of allowing the install of non google play apps?
Thanks,
Marc

If Google Play FC, head into settings > apps > Google Play > click clear data and force close
To clear data of Google Play Services, head into settings > apps > Google Play Services > (I think is) manage storage and it'll bring you into Google Play Services app, scroll to the bottom and click clear data. After that, force stop and uninstall any updates you may have for the app.
To manually update/install an app, use a file manager and head into the directory where you downloaded the app and just click on it and package installer will do the job it needs to do
hi all,
**EDIT** 20/10/15
So I wiped my phone again - cache and system. Flashed "cm-12-20150901-SNAPSHOT-YNG4NAO253-bacon" and "gapps-lp-20141212-signed" annnnnd it all works!
I still don't understand the cause of any of my troubles and I haven't tried doing this with CM 12.1 because stagefright is still an issue?
I cannot get Google Play services to function properly on my OnePlus one- have tried Factory resets, installing from a backup, Stock, CWM and TWRP recoveries. installing from apk hosting sites. clearing cache and all data in settings>apps>google blah blah, hoping someone can help me.
- several months ago i flashed TWRP as my new recovery and then flashed SuperSU and I have enjoyed this set up ever since as I love using the app AllStream which requires root access.
- after putting off updating my phone since doing this, I finally decided to update the other day...
- I downloaded the CM12.1 .zip , moved it onto my phone, booted it into recovery and flashed the bastard (figured everything was going smoothly at this point).
- When my phone booted up I figured I would download the Google Play store from the built in browser, and then download all my apps through that, BUT when I logged into my google account the play store said all my apps were already installed???
I downloaded some apps from some apk hosting websites and installed them (allstream, facebook, snapchat and a couple others) they all worked fine.
When I downloaded Google Play services Version: 8.2.99 (8299240) for Android 5.0+ (Lollipop, API 21) from apkmirror.com it installed and then gave me the error "unfortunately google play services has stopped"
every 3 seconds or so.
I have tried flashing Stock, CWM, Philz and TWRP recoveries, doing a factory reset and then flashing the CM12.1.zip. get the error in all cases.
I have tried clearing cache and all app data in phone settings>apps>google PS>clear cache/delete data
I have not had Privacy Guard running ever (some forums have suggested this can cause issues).
**EDIT** 19/10/15
I've realized since posting that I have had Privacy Guard running (i had thought it was a separate app).
I have since experimented with different settings within Privacy guard such as turning the "wake up" and "keep awake" options on or off - no success
No idea what to do now, have I done something obvious? What else can I try? What other information should I provide to help diagnosis?

[HELP] I broke my Google Play Store and can't fix it

Hi XDA,
I noticed on APKMirror that a new version of the Google Play Store was released (5.10.29/30), so I tried to install them, which all went with no problems.
Than I tried to update an app in the Play Store, when after clicking the "Update" button my Google Play Store immediately crashed.
Alright, I removed Google Play Store using Titanium Backup, this might be the biggest mistake of them all (I must have used to "remove updates" from the Settings > Apps menu)
After removing 5.10.29/30 I decided to install 5.9.12 again, because that one was working fine for me.
Installed that, hit the Google Play Store, smacked the Update All button, and boom, crashed again.
At this point I went to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Remove all Data
Went to the Store again, update all, crash...
I have also wiped my Download Manager Data
Also I disabled AdAway, since some hosts file might mess with it...
Ok, I have a Xposed Module "PlayPermissionsExposed", disabled that, reboot, try again, still crash...
Tried wiping the data of the Google Play Store again... Nope...
The Play Store gets as far as;
Opening the Play Store
Accepting the App Permissions
Downloading.... CRASH
And, after this crash, I can't even open the Play Store anymore, just gives me a force-close.
I really hope someone can help me to fix this issue, since I really don't feel like reinstalling my device again.
Talking about my device, I am using:
Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505
Rom: Google Play Edition by danvdh
who even needs to google play store when you have apkmirror

just boot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvic, then flash the gapps you used when flashing the rom. dont wipe any data!.
if that doesnt work, try flashing the rom too. worst case you might loose any mods you made to the system, but data will be fine as long as you dont wipe it.

Thank you, my ROM did not came with a flashable gapps package, so I just wiped only the Dalvik cache.
Too bad, that did not solve the issue...
I am re-flashing my rom right now, without wiping anything, hope that solved the issue, will report back later

[HELP] [root] s8+ exynos - google play services stopped working after data wipe.

Hi all, so bit of a background.
Got international g955f (s8+), I have it rooted with twrp + magisk. Everything was fine till last night phone stopped to remember wifi passwords. Tried DHCP folder removal and config file changing - that didnt work so did titanium backup of it all and wiped data this morning.
Phone started but as soon as I try to go through initial configs I get google services stopped working/keep crashing.
Pulled sim card out so I could get through to the main screen, tried to open play store and nope, won't let me - google play services has stopped.
Restored data through Titanium backup didnt help. Wiping data/cache of google apps didnt help. Downloading play store and google framework apk didn't help.
I've got full rom waiting to be flashed but I'm at work at the moment so can't do that yet. Is there anything else I can try and do to avoid re-flash?
I have removed system apps like chrome and gmail, nothing else.
Good thing - wifi is remembered now!
Any help/clue would much appreciate.
Thank you!
