Hey guys, I have got Mate 30 Pro with International ROM(bought in europe because better offers here than in China). I switched from Vivo Iqoo Pro with FunTouchOS and to be honest I miss the skin.
Compared to EMUI, it had lots of quick applications on the smart menu, like I could switch to Alipay to pay directly etc, lots of functions.
The smart menu on my Mate 30 Pro does not have anything and feels useless. Is there any way to add custom applications into the smart menu? Like on the screen below?
If there is no workaround around this, is it possible to install Chinese ROM somehow? I prefer the Chinese "bloatware" in it as I study in China, makes life easier. My chinese friends with Mate 30 Pro said their phone has Alipay, Wechat shortcuts

I found a app called "Zao Wujia" on my Honor 9... it doesn't show up under settings-apps but it shows up when I open Data preferencies... Anybody know what this app is doing? Thank you Greetings!

Cannot find any information about it online besides this post... I suspect it was some system app by a HUAWEI developer... If OP can swtich language to Chinese and take antoher screen, maybe I can find more information...
Thx anyway... don't know which language is chinese coz it's only different chinese symbols which I can't read in language selection

Hi, I found this a bit ridicolous as I can do it in my cheap smarphones, but my note 20 ultra does not have an option to create multiple users (profiles) / Model. SM-N986U1.
I look for the option all over settins and using the search feature.

Since a phone is mostly a personal device it's reasonable that adding profiles is not possible, while tablets are not always personal. If you want a secure place to hide apps or a place to put your working apps, then I would recommend using Secure Folder. It's encrypted and password locked. In the case that you're using multiple messengers like whatsapp, use dual messaging.

Last month I was playing around with my Honor 8X, removing Stock Bloatware apps. and I ended up removing Stock Dailer app (which is itself a Part of Stock Contacts app).
Can anyone provide the Stock Contacts App file? I miss the default UI and built-in Call recording feature with my Alternate Dailer (Google Phone).
Running EMUI 10.0.0, I believe those phone is Dead out of Huawei's Update List and won't receive any Security Patch updates too. Any suggestion on Custom ROMs?

Hi People, I found a Pretty Good way to restore Uninstalled (in other ways, you are just disabling the apps for the Main User [android/user0] you are not Uninstalling it)
Anyways, I have bundled the Key, inbuilt Apps as a ZIP. Thank me Later
Note : these apps are for Honor 8X running the Latest EMUI 10.0.0.

If I want to share a picture from the Gallery it opens the share panel:

I happen to notice that on top are some samsung-related share options (in english: Smart View, Link Sharing, Shared album).
I would love to get rid of them, as I never use them and they are waaaaay to present for their uselessness.
Does anyone know an option (or a workaround) how to get rid of them?
I happen to notice that 'shared album' does melt into the ocean of all sharing options by itself (hence the picture above) - but I couldn't figure out so far what triggers that. I just happened after a while of using the phone.
I would love to have the other two options would 'melt away' as well (or disappear for good).
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I bought the Galaxy S21 in the US and was very disappointed to find out that it had limited functionality than variants sold elsewhere (like dual sim and built-in call recording). Is there a way to replace the US version of the phone app with the non-US version so that I can have call recording functionality?

An interesting question. Was thinking the same thing if it was possible on a stock Samsung.
Thinking about but no plans of doing... the stock apk is a little glitchy but overall works well and consumes little battery.
Switching to dark mode be an improvement for you. You can also easily change its appearance with free Galaxy Store themes.
What issues are you experiencing?
