- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

Nice rom...

I had problems installing, had that error on boot where it says deencryption error even though my phone wasn't encrypted (I was coming from an Android 9 Rom). I fixed this by installing a newer version of twrp but had to format all partitions.
Now Rom is running butter smooth, no problems yet.
Two things I would like to see that would improve app, if possible. One, battery percentage on notification bar and two, am option to move the back button on the right side. I seen to remember Android 9 letting you have the back button on the right.
-edit- never mind about percentage battery. Found it in the "explore" settings.

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices. I'm mostly using Miui but this is very good Oreo option. Nice 'distinguished' ROM. Smooth and good battery backup. Nice theming with Margarita as well.
Deserves more attention for other users here.

Clean Flashed. How much time does it take for the first boot? 30 mins or more than that? I think it got stuck in boot loop.

Tez Is not working. Rest battery life, performance is great. Smart Pixels option works Great.. Although it makes screen green battery life has increased drastically

Interesting! At the moment all PIE ROMs cut install with Error 7 for me, but I will try it once I solved the issue. Prepared for microG is good, and I like the aim making it as lightweight as reasonable.

Why are you using Viper audio anyways? PowerAmp is so much better and doesn't require any mods on ROM basis.

Yeah, pro version costs a few dollars, but it's worth it. ?

Hey Dev, Great Rom, but
would love to see face unlock and an app pinning option in recents, also the double tap to wake is not working though the double tap to sleep is working superb, it sometimes shuts down the phone when the battery goes past below 15 percent. Other wise really smooth and def. one of the most stable android 10 roms out there. Great job!

This is one of the best ROMs for violet.... Awesome balance between performance and battery backup .... Minimal but useful customisations which gives flawless user experience

Yes , it will be similar minimal cust that was on A10 and with great stability and battery backup. Also Gaming (Smooth af)

So I presume there's no need to spoof CTS using Magisk then?
Also, do you plan on using the blobs from the Realme UI 2.0 update especially once that goes stable? Thought that might help with the et512 situation and all...

No Magisk needed to spoof...also its an Enforcing build so secure
Realme UI 2.0 is totally different .... so need to update trees and all ROMs will be based on Realme UI 2 once it gets stable. Also the et512 stuff..we are still trying but our priority is fixing the Kernel sources

Not to mention that an enforced SELinux should assure users as opposed to something more open. Though they'd be even more assured once a source-built kernel goes live.

Yep..that's why enforcing was our priority. Also we are working on Kernels.... it boots in old vendors but has issues with new vendors... lets see how much we can do...

If it's from a stock ROM, no, that would be impossible. You'd have to perform a backup regardless.

And do you think that we can get the fingerprint sensor to work soon now that the kernel sources are usable? Or is it still a pipe dream for now?

That et512 fp sensor has non kernel related issues, still we are trying to figure out
