I have read some articles here and there like this one for example http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/guide-how-to-unlock-frp-free-t3388810 it advices to enable oem unlock to get rid of frp lock, but after many trials I can say unfortunately there is no relation between oem unlock option and the frp lock http://gadgetguideonline.com/androi...ollipop-5-1-when-you-do-a-factory-data-reset/
The problem is I don't know the solution so I hoped some of the developers out there can help us because it is really hard to find info for the huawei smartphones online.
I have an L-29c185 I was able to unlock the bootloader and root the phone on emui 4.0 and I installed kangvip slim and used it until update b353 (13-7) then I flashed the original firmware L-29c185b320 zip file in twrp and flashed it again using dload method until the logo of "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" has disappeared. The problem is that I can not unlock the bootloader again, frp is always locked although I entered the same google account with the same password nothing had changed .
The phone is working good I only want to root it, I removed the google account and factory reset the phone many times with no help the frp is always locked.
Did you find a solution? I have exactly the same problem.
Search for no fuss and give it a try
I have a Xiaomi Mi Max 2 phone (version MIUI Global 9.2 Stable 9.2.1.0 NDDMIEK), I got the permission to unlock it from Xiaomi, I dowloaded Mi Unlock but it stops the procedure because "Current account is no bound to this device".
I went to developer options - Mi Unlock status but all I get is an error 86006 and something in Chinese.
From other threads it is suggested that I should flash some 8.3.1 Developer ROM, meaning that I have to double back my OS in order to unlock it.
Do I really have to do something like that? Is there another option?
And let us suppose that I do double back and it works. What next?
If I root my phone and flash 9.2 again I'll lose the root.
If I flash 9.2 first, will my phone continue to be unlocked in order to root it?
Why are they making things so complex? I know the risks about rooting a phone, just let me do it!
hi all,
anyone ever use mi mix 2s global rom with 5 digits version of miui ? example 9.5.4.0.0 . is it the real global stable rom ? i checked the phone was unlocked shown on the bottom when i turned on the phone. Can i just flash to other rom with miflash tool ??? seem the phone bootloader is unlocked.
thank you for the attention.
That and the fact it came unlocked sounds fishy. You can miflash a rom for sure. You'll want to find out if it's truly a global model as well because if its a China model you will brick the phone if you relock the bootloader with a global rom.

thank you for the replied.
seem its china model because the phone was unlocked...so how could i flash the rom if i want a global stable rom like the real global version of mix 2s ??? TWRP is the last method???
You can use miflash to flash global stable ROMs, they will work just fine, just DO NOT AT ALL attempt to relock the bootloader unless you are back on China stable.
Also watch miflash... Down the bottom right you have the flash, clean and flash, flash and lock etc. Absolutely make sure it is not on a lock option. It's easy to do there by accident if you don't check.

Immediately try to flash official global stable !!!!!!
Like it was said DO NOT lock bootloader until you do get on official rom
You phone came with 3rd party FAKE miui (yes thats the name of this rom) it may contain malware and all kind of bullsh*t
My first Mi 5 came with it, I studied it so trust me. Flash global stable!!
You can flash twrp via fastboot and then flash miui eu weekly, that a way to get rid of this nasty fake crap!!!

Dude don't tell him to lock the bootloader.
Chinese versions of the phone only work on global with the bootloader unlocked, If he locks it the phone won't boot and he won't have any way of installing the chinese rom because the mi account isn't bound. So he'll end up with a hardbrick that could only be fixed with a special mi account and EDL mode.
Tl;Dr DO NOT LOCK THE BOOTLOADER YOUR PHONE WILL BRICK

I wrote "DO NOT LOCK" can you read?
And how are you sure he is using the china version? Cause it came unlocked ?? Every version of the phone can come unlocked if a 3rd party was doing stuff on it...

When you flashing there are clean and lock, DO NOT CHOOSE lock
Tell us the whats on the back of the phone, the model ?
hello
i have rooted my note 10+ and flashed dr.ketan rom
and there is an app still detecting the root after using magisk hide and i think it checks if the bootloader is unlocked
and i was wondering is it safe if i relock the bootloader
edit:my banking app does work with magisk hide and the SafetyNet check is successful
Re-locking a bootloader will ensure that the device will only boot to OEM signed and provided Android Images.
FYI: For a custom ROM to be used ( with a few exceptions ), the bootloader must remained unlocked.
For the majority of phones if you try and re-lock the bootloader with LinageOS installed you will end up bricking your phone ( might be soft or hard brick depending on the device ).

Once u unlock bootloader never relock it many people have reported that their devices got permanently damaged after relocking bootloader
I see but is there a way to spoof it for other apps when it tries to read if the oem is unlocked or not
This is the app i am trying to hide the root from
Tawakkalna (Covid-19 KSA) - Apps on Google Play
Saudi official app to request curfew passes and other COVID-19 related services
play.google.com
For any app ( as this is also true for every service center ) it's an ease to detect whether phone's Android got tampered ( even rooted ). No reliable methods exist to bypass such a query, IMO.
Respected Sir/Madame,
My name is Darrcies AntonyJoe from India(Tamilnadu), I'm using Redmi 3S(Land)..Recently I thought about unbooting my device.. But I have lot of thoughts that running in my mind! Can you help me clarify my doubts?
By installing TWRP Recovery and Magisk manager for installing custom ROM and rooting my mobile.. Is that possible to do that in my mobile? and will I loss all kind of data that stored in my internal??
By installing Custom *unofficial update MIUI ROM* (like MIUI 11 and MIUI 12), for Redmi 3S! Will I face Logo loop* (Repetition of MIUI logo)..If that occurs! what to do? Is that possible to retrieve my mobile easily??
These are my doubts.. So kindly respond my request ASAP*..I have attached my Mobile Info below! So that, It maybe help you! I think so..
Thank You
When unlocking a device's bootloader you lose all user-data stored on device.
Unlocking bootloader makes the device vulnerable by hackers etc.pp.

Thank you for your kind reply! I understood that.. By unlocking bootloader I'll lose all kind of my data that stored in my internal and I can't able to recovery that!
But If,
I unlock my bootloader and installing *Unofficial Custom ROM like Global/Chinese version that suits for my mobile(By checking and downloading in websites and in GDrive)...Will I succeed in installing custom ROM in my mobile or I face Logo Loop and I make my phone becomes bricked* and I'm unable to recover my mobile forever?
My Mobile Model is: Redmi 3S(LAND)
..If you read my response! kindly reply ASAP!
Thank you
Flashing a Custom ROM always is a bit risky, IMO.
