Losing GPS signal in Waze with Android Auto - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Questions & Answers

Hi All, I use Android Auto 5.1.500644, the original Xiaomi USB cable and after seconds I lose GPS signal when I use Waze. Google maps works well. On my Mi Mix 3 I have MIUI Global 11.0.3.
What should I do to make Waze working well?:crying:

Waze has broken car-side GPS somewhere around that point of time. Sometimes it helps to start google maps first, then when it gets a lock, switch to Waze - it usually work after that.

no GPS fix in US

I'm trying to use the app ski tracks to track my skiing while on holiday however the app won't find any GPS. The weird thing is that Google maps will connect with our without WiFi and will get a gps fix. I tried GPS status monitor thing and it said I'm not connected to any GPS satellites. I'm running paranoid android beta 5, any help please?
Change your gps from battery save to high accuracy?

[Q] GPS any good?

How is GPS with this device? I currently have the note 3 and I’m tired of the GPS not working all the time if at all.
GPS works flawlessly for me. I always had issues with my note 1, but I've never had a GPS signal issue on stock CM11S.
It's perfect for me, I use it for navigation and it's pinpoint accurate.

Same here GPS is fine use it all the time even with Google now turned on
I have mine set to device only instead of high accuracy mode to save some battery, only turns on when needed. Wi-Fi only mode is useless IMO if you use it for navigation

[Completed] Android gps navigation problems

Hello,
I have some problems with my navigation in my car, i have a android navigation system with a gps receiver first it worked but at this moment he doesnt work very well
Today i buyed a new gps receiver and placed it on my roof of my car to get a better receive.
I have a program to test the gps receive and he sees 10 sattelites but only uses 3 of them constantly and number 4 is used 70% of the time but 30% not so my navigation program is constantly showing searching for gps signal.
sometimes i have luck and it has connected to 5 sattelites.
My question is he sees 10 satelites 1 has a terrible receive but my navigation is connection to that one but the other satellites have much better receive
So why does my navigation only connects to 3/4 when there are 9 good ones ? can i turn them on with a app or something or can i sellect other satelites or something?
