Welcome to CesiumOS, Yet another AOSP project. But this is one that will be a very different and exciting project. What differentiates us from the rest, you ask? Well that's why you're here - to find out.
*Note This thread is optimised for both Light and Dark XDA themes. View this thread in a browser to have a magical experience!
CesiumOS is a project that is designed to be exciting. It is something that was born out of a sea of similar-looking AOSP roms. We offer a unique, yet familiar experience for your phone. We cherry-pick features that we think will *actually* be useful in your daily lives, and nothing more. Since this is the beginning of something beautiful and exciting, we will continue to add more features in the future releases. We will strive to keep the ROM bloat-free, yet still have enough features that will keep you satisfied.

About Project:
Citrus-CAF was initially based off CyanogenMod in the early days of its inception. Later, the suggestions were taken into consideration and the needs and demands of our users were carefully studied. On realising the potential of CAF tags, and how CAF optimisations can help Snapdragon devices run with its full capability, we rebased the project to Code Aurora Sources, more commonly known as CAF. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was the first device to get the full-fledged taste of our Tangy Nougat. In the beginning, it was just two people behind, but in time, a lot of people joined us, each giving their own contribution.
With the release of Android Pie, we decided to bring back this project to life with more optimisations and stability in our mind. We present to you Citrus-CAF KeyLimePie. Hope you enjoy your time using this ROM.
Citrus-CAF was built to create an amazing combination of customization, performance and most of the demanded features by our users!
Meanwhile, all of our Tangy sources are publicly available on our Github. We also do own a Google+ Community, where you can do what all others do at forums and communities! (Just kidding, we got builds over there and a feature-wish bucket too ) Hope you enjoy your stay and taste the Tanginess of our work!
Why is the security patch older then the latest AOSP patch?
CAF focus on delivering the latest hardware patches and are usually about a month behind Google on security patches, on the other hand, Google is usually a month or more behind on them on caf patches (sometimes months). No point in complaining about it, if you want the latest security patch, go with an AOSP based rom (like LineageOS), if you want latest qualcomm optimizations for our hardware as well as fixes, go with caf, its as simple as that.
Out of lemon, with love!

Good ROM with a good set of features!
No issues so far.
Couple of feature Requests:
1. Would it be possible to add a 'Glass' theme like in Havoc?
2. Would it be possible to add a feature to reduce nav-bar size?

How to hide navigation bar?
Is there any option to change the battery led color?
Why long press power button to torch on screen lock is not working?
This is such a good ROM. It has a stylish look like Bootleggers and good customization options like Havoc!
Would any further updates be provided for this ROM?

Thank for good rom, it very beautiful
I wish for more development on this ROM. I am currently using this as my daily driver and its good. But can you fix input controller? I connected my PS4 controller to my phone (it works on Arrow OS) and it doesn't work on your rom, well other roms also doesn't work but I wanted to use my PS4 controller to play games like Minecraft and Emulators suhc as PPSSPP and Playstation 1 emulator and also Wii and gamecube on my phone. Tnx for reading this
It seems that the camera doesn't save the captured images to external SDcard. I hope it fixes in the next build. This is SOLID rom!
EDIT: Fixed by flashing the latest Asus camera port. THANKS!!!! this ROM is NICE!!!
and where I can find the LED settings? i want to edit the led color while charging. because its green even if the battery is not fully charged.
EDIT2: screen flickering while in games like pubg mobile. while dragging chat heads on messenger.

Wanted to bring to your attention that there's no option to adjust the size of the Navigation Bar nor is there an option to turn it off. Is there any workaround for that?

Fast charging doesn't work on latest build(was working in previous build).. stuck at 500mA
Can anyone write the details about battery life and screen on time?

A good rum, smooth with a beautiful interface of additional settings.Plan to translate additional settings to other languages, including Russian?
@saikatrocks , great rom you bring to mi9t pro but sadly that gapps are inbuilt, so for many not usable.
Could you please make a build for users they don't want to have gapps all the time.

Promised. In next build.
Hi, just wanted to understand the main reason why people are so put off by Roms with built in gapps? I genuinely do not know, so that is why I am asking. Isn't it easier to have everything already baked in? Or is it because people don't like the fact that you can't remove the Google stuff and add your own?

Because of the behavior of custom rom amongst others was to use android without google, or only the playstore stuff.
You can remove it but it's much more easier to install the google stuff then debloat them. Hope it answered a bit of your questions.

If you are connected to the internet then there is no privacy. Most of the reason the people who don't use Google apps are because they're not open source.

I guess I'm just not important enough to care what Google gets off my devices. I like gapps, not in-built ones per se but I use gapps always.

As of now Face Unlock is currently unavailable. It is supported on official devices only.
Official TAG
Will there be an official shapeshift release?

To be honest, It wouldn't matter so much if there is an Official tag. You only get FaceUnlock support on those Official Builds. Unofficial gives me more flexibility to work on things like improving FOD, adding more features from other ROMs etc. So if I don't get an Official tag, builds will be delivered on a regular basis.
really digging this rom, can you add immersive mode please!!

Will Consider it.
Hey Guys,
A small update with respect to the ROM, ShapeShift will be going official in a couple of days, so it makes no sense to continue this project when there will be an official ROM. Thanks for your support. My Good Friend san9 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=6292725) will be taking over this ROM. Do support him.

Consistently tried LineageOS 18.1, Pixel Experience 11, PixelPlusUI.
LineageOS 18.1 fast, super battery, but ascetic.
Pixel Experience 11 nice Pixel interface, but with the latest update is surprisingly laggy and battary drain.
PixelPlusUI is almost as fast as LineageOS, and functional as Pixel Experience 11, even more. Good Battery.

AMAZING!
Can anyone confirm me if I can customise my hardware buttons in this rom like PE plus? This is a crucial feature for me. I'm adding a screenshot for better understanding.
