Camera app that supports wide/tele/both selfie cams? - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Themes, Apps, and Mods

Does anybody know of a third party app that supports all the S10+'s cameras? I noticed that WhatsApp and VSCO support the wide camera to some extent: when switching between front and back, it will alternate between the normal and the wide camera. But obviously, that's not as elegant as the camera selection buttons in the Samsung app.
Alternatively, can I install the Samsung camera app when I flash another ROM?

Optical Image Stabilization & 3rd Party Apps

So, as we know, the stock camera app is kinda poo-poo. I've been using my old standby, the excellent Snap Camera. (highly recommend).
Anyway, can anyone tell me if this touted OIS works with 3rd party camera apps, or is it proprietary to the stock app?
Thanks!

[Q] Laser Assisted Camera Focus Feature - Only With Stock Camera App?

Can anyone tell if the laser assisted focus feature is only available in the camera app that comes with the LG ROM? I installed some other camera apps, like Google Camera and Camera Zoom FX. I noticed that the LG camera could zoom in quite well on closer things with greater clarity, but some of the other apps seemed to focus faster, especially things that were a bit further away. I was only using the preview view, but this laser focus feature is a first for me, and I'd like to understand it better before I start looking at other camera apps or even other ROMs that may not have built in support for the hardware.
Laser auto focus works on all 3rd party camera apps I've tried. I tried out numerous aosp roms and even miui and laser auto focus works each time.
The laser support is found in the kernel, not the camera app. This means that a camera app simply asks the phone to focus and its the kernel tells the laser to focus.
Therefore if laser focusing works on the stock app (meaning it is supported in the kernel), then it will automatically work for any other third party camera app. If you are using a custom ROM/kernel that hasn't been tweaked to support the laser focus (most of them have already been tweaked to work with the laser however), then it won't work for any camera app including the stock app.

Stock ZTE camera app on Lineage?

Is the stock (Android 9) ZTE camera app able to be exported and used on a third party ROM (Lineage) ? I've tried multiple third party camera apps and it appears the main rear camera hardware is being reported as only being 12MP.
That's really confusing because the rear camera array is advertised as being a 48MP for standard & wide angle shots, a 8MP for "telephoto" shots (but who seriously 3x optical zoom is telephoto?) , and 20MP for ultrawide shots.
Are they pulling a Bait-n-Switch by software interperlating the main camera up to 48MP?
I'm guessing there are closed source libraries / drivers which allow the OEM camera app to access all of the various cameras? Maybe someone from the Axon 7 group may know?
Has someone already attempted to do this? Does anyone want to take a crack at this before I spend two or seven weeks attempting to do so?
That's 4to1 Pixelbinning. Don't worry about that. 12 MP delivers better results than 48 MP!

Why doesn't the telephoto camera show up on Camera2API?

Here is the Camera2API report from the LM-V500N (using the Camera2 Info app)
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JdSf1uUr9DVjuj893Sr3wS4u6h3vdEFYAczhgD-tVv0/edit?usp=sharing
Here are the results in table format:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1trOn2Byjz_A5zp4XJA6vcFUDZWR19B7TSmwcmiOswLA/edit?usp=sharing
There are three cameras, Camera 0 (26mm main), Camera 1 (25mm selfie), and Camera 2 (16mm ultrawide).
I would expect a "Camera 3" that is the telephoto camera, but it's not visible.
So... I'm confused.
Can someone open up a 3rd party camera app like Open Camera or Gcam, *cover the main 26mm camera with your finger or tape, and switch to the telephoto to confirm that the app is indeed using the telephoto camera, and not a digitally zoomed image from the main camera?
For the developers, how are 3rd party apps able to access the telephoto camera if there's no Camera2API access to it? Or why isn't the telephoto camera being reported?
GCam can access the telephoto camera, while OPEN CAMERA can't. And the original camera app can use it only if the light condition is very well.

It control by build.prop–>vendor.camera.aux.packagelist

third party apps not using all cameras

I was wondering why some phones allow user to change from main camera to wide angle camera, but other phones so not.
I have an app that takes pics (for work) and on my Galaxy S21 I can change to wide angle to take the pic, but on my Oppo Find x3 it will only allow me to go from 1x and zoom in. Cannot go to 0.6x
