I think there are a lot of people who like the original OxygenOS boot animation, but would like to add some small extras to it. For this reason, I created the animation as a combination of OnePlus and Tesla fans!
Full 60 FPS support
Download the file in the download section.
You need to be rooted
Method A:
1. Download the zip file.
2. Check if you have other magisk bootanimations enabled. If you do, disable them all, restart the phone.
3. Flash via Magisk or using TWRP.Method B (flashed the zip file but boot animation not working):In short: you must manually move the bootanimation.zip file to the location /system/media on your phone.
For this method I recommend to use the file manager built in TWRP (file managers running on Android may have problems with modifying system files).
Remember to rename the original file in location /system/media if you want to restore the original animation!
For example, you can rename from bootanimation.zip to #bootanimation.zip.
You can find a specially prepared file to download in the download section.

View attachment Tesla_OnePlus_Bootanimation_Magisk_TWRP.zip - file to flash with Magisk or TWRP (method A)
View attachment bootanimation.zip - file for method B
If you enjoy my work and want to motivate me for further modifications, you may consider making a donation.
Creating accurate animations takes some time. Thank you!

The McLaren animation is in op1/bootanimation in root directory that's why it does not apply
Nothing to do with format of your bootanimation.zip

Pretty sure it uses that location. That' where it is on my McLaren 7t pro and I know that's where it was on my McLaren 6t. That would be why your zip does not change anything.
Also you are replacing the zip, so if you replaced it, why would the McLaren boot animation still be there working...
Also the rom is the same for pro and McLaren, but it detects the model number and activates the McLaren stuff
Try to see if you have this folder and pull that file. It should be the McLaren animation. If you don't have that folder, it is generated on flash of rom on McLaren devices

And is yours a McLaren? If not you couldn't see it
I provided proof of location on a McLaren device, and the location was the same on my 6t pro McLaren also

It was actually First seen in Nexus Froyo ROM and CM6 before it was put in Sky Raider Rom. I just found this out myself. lol
i'm not going to root my phone until after the 2.2 OTA is released at the end of the month. any way i can get a zip with the bootanimation and mp3 to push to my phone?
NEVERMIND... i see the update. thanks!
It's not letting me unzip the .mp3, saying unknown format.

well you don't need root to push to your phone. so you can always push it afterwards.

you don't uncompress it. you just remove the .zip extension.
but as of now I can't get the audio to work correctly so its useless. i am going to pull the file now.
And also, the original is better than the CM version. the transitions are better.
Any way we can get it to show just red like the cyan version?
I'm running PMF v1.2 OTA version and can't seem to get this working. I've adb push'd the bootanimation.zip to /data/local with no luck and also to /system/media where PMF keeps it to no luck as well. Every boot I get a black screen till the OS is loaded. Anyone have any suggestions?
The only difference I can think of is that I did apply the OTA but that's lower level than the bootsplash...
Don't know if this helps or not, but here is the image as an animation. I have no idea how to make it where it can be used as live wallpaper.
(Rename .zip to .gif)
i hope someone will make a live WP with this.
Can this be used on EVO?

The reason why audio will not work is that the first folder (or only folder if not more than one) holding the images for the boot animation needs to be named android. and the Desc.txt should reflect the folder name android. So basically, part0 folder needs to be renamed to android. And in desc.txt part0 also needs to be renamed to android

Then copy all the QMG files to your phone's system/media folder and reboot the phone.
After you do that, it will work fine.
Good luck,

That is for marshmallow btw, i haven't the time to look on 5.1.1 right now but i bet method is similar on stock.
Would it make any sense if that after i flashed the bikini girl one (duh) that it now boots up with my original bootanimation but then goes to like a flashing blue ball thats like exploding and then boots up? Like the animation i flashed was a exploding blue ball repeating.

What are the best custom boot animations?

Samsung does boot animation their own way, limiting our choices somewhat.
Anyone have slick custom boot animations they want to share/link?

Above are the sources of the animations. I did not create these animations and if you like them, please consider making donations to their designers.
I took the original files and modified and converted them utilizing the Samsung Theme Designer. I rearranged some of the background loop/frame and timing of the frames and converted the .zip to .QMG as they could not be used on Samsung in their original format.
YOU CAN NOT FLASH THESE FILES.
I have combined the two boot animations for my own taste . You can check it out and download it if you wish from here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BybuwSbkEDEqNHlqWVBlZEk2cGc?usp=sharing
You need to know what you are doing, I am not responsible for your phone. Make sure you have a backup. Snapdragon does not have TWRP therefore for backup for S7. I suggest , you have an Original Firm Ware Downloaded for all intense and purposes. Last time I checked , Sam's Mobile has the wrong Firmware for Download for G935TUVU3APG1 . I have downloaded mine from https://samsung-firmware.org/ and paid $7.00 for faster download. It's worth every penny of it.
1) You need a rooted Samsung Edge S7 or S7 phone. Boot and Boot Loop files are 1080 x 1920, shutdown is 960x540 (but it looks very clear)
2) Make a Folder in your download folder named backupQMG and another folder named NewQMG
3) Upload the (bootsamsung.qmg bootsamsungloop.qmg shutdown.qmg) files you have downloaded from the Google Shared Drive to /Download/NewQMG
3) go to /System/Media/ bootsamsung.qmg bootsamsungloop.qmg shutdown.qmg ( copy and paste the files to your Download/backupQMG)
4) go to /System/Media/ bootsamsung.qmg bootsamsungloop.qmg shutdown.qmg (delete these files)
5) Goto /Downlod/ NewQMG/ bootsamsung.qmg bootsamsungloop.qmg shutdown.qmg , copy these files and and paste them to System/Media/
6) Set the permissions .Before pasting these files, your root explorer wil ask you to to change the Mount R/W to Mount R/O. Click ok
7) After pasting these files, long click on each one of them seperately and select permissions.
Set them as such
Read Write Execute
owner x x
Group x x
Others x
tha's it. Those are All the X's . By the way this method is applicable of all of the .QMG BootAnimation File replacements.
Be careful, when in doubt, don't do it, particularly if you haven't downloaded the Original Firmware. When you have the FirmWare, if you make a mistake, it just becames an irritation because it takes a long time to get back all of the setting even with the TB. I wish, We get TWRP soon like the Exynox

Splash Bag™ by AndroBuddy007? [Whyred]

Hello guys! AndroBuddy007 here.
I'm here to share some cool boot logos/splashes for Whyred.
If you don't know what splash image is, it's the 'Mi' logo which is shown while the device boots.
It's very easy to change these images if you follow the steps listed here. I've tried to keep it as simple as possible so that you don't face any problems. Please do tell if you face any problems!
Some of them are FLASHABLE ZIPS, while others are splash.img
To flash splash.img, following shall help you:
Steps:
Via Custom Recovery [No Root]
1. Download the splash you like, of course!
2. Move the splash to the phone storage.
3. Boot into recovery, custom recoveries only!
4. Take a backup (optional), coz just in case...
5. Go to install and select 'Install Image'.
6. Select the splash.img.
7. In the next screen, choose 'Boot logo'.
8. Swipe to make changes and then Reboot.
9. Profit!!
Via Fastboot [No Root]
1. Boot your phone to Bootloader/Fastboot/Download mode
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
2. Move to directory on your PC where the splash is saved and open CMD there, and type
Code:
fastboot flash splash splash.img

2. Then type this

Do keep in mind that my testers and me have tested these before launching them here and they all work fine. Still it's better to have stock logo backup, or better just flash your device firmware again to restore stock image.
Hope you like my work, and do consider donating me!
Special thanks to @GokulNC for his amazing work on creating the splash image maker which gave me an idea to create these.
Also if you want more of such logo's, please tell me!

The new one should work afaik. I use his tool as my tool base.
I haven't changed much just adjusted the allocation size. That won't affect anything though.
Try again and see.
Can I get the tool you use to create these?
I have tried so many splash screens. Yours was the only one that worked for me.
