Hello, my English is extremely bad so I will use google translator.
The essence of my problem is that my Samsung gear s3 R765V may suddenly turn off.
It does not depend on the battery charge, they just turn off. Then I start them again and they can at least spend a day working on the same charge. And so, twice a day, my watch died and got up again.
I went to the master (we do not have Samsung service centers), and he found a problem in the condenser which, due to moisture from the hole under the speaker, began to rot.
The location and number of the capacitor I will indicate in the photo. Capacitor C446

After that, the device started and turned off a couple of times. The master said that there might be a problem in the battery and could not help.
On the same day, I was able to once again start the clock, but they turned off after an hour. And did not turn on until the evening. Then I opened the back cover and looked at the place all the cable and they turned on again. And we worked all day on the same charge!
Now I can’t turn them on anymore!
1) The battery is charging and the screen lights up!
2) The buttons work, respond to clicks and show the charge level.
But the system itself does not start in any way. Although before turning off immediately started again.
I believe that the problem is in the capacitor, which was replaced, but not correctly selected!
My question is:
1) What do you think is the problem and how to solve it?
2) What is this capacitor and how to replace it correctly?
3) Is it possible to remove it altogether and try to start the device without it?
If you have questions, ask! If I can understand you, of course)
Thank you

Hi,
I recently purchased a replacement USB port part for my Nexus 5, as my original one had a bad connection on the port which made charging very tricky.
The new part.

I followed a Youtube guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqCEXEmcj4Y
I did as was instructed, the only thing being an issue was that fitting the ribbon back into this port was a little tricky. (see the circled image below).
Put the phone back together. Powering on I feel the phone vibrate as if its powering on, but there isnt anything on the screen.
I hold the power button down to turn it off, but I dont get any vibration indicating it has force powered off.
Ive opened it all up and checked the work ive done, but still the same issue.
I thought it may be the new part I put in, so I swapped it for the old one.
Im concerned now that the port that i had to fiddle with to connect may of been damaged (although i was very careful). Or is there a more simple explanation where I need to connect it to a computer in an attempt to bring it back to life?
FYI I have just tried the vol keys and i can hear the vol change sounds. I may take the opportunity to back things up now.
Is it possible to do a factory reset without seeing the screen? I have a lock pattern that I obviously cannot see now either.
All help appreciated.
Thanks
Hi
I have been having this issue for a couple of months and i do not know where i would start to troubleshoot
Basically with full charge every time i use either the Maps or a game (what i noticed anyway) it shuts off and after a couple of attempts to turn it back on it would come on but the battery will be 1 or 2%. and i have to charge it again.
I have flashed it to stock and used pretty much all the ROMs available with no success(. It seemed like a hardware issue but i do not know what it is. I could try replacing the battery but i am not convinced that is the problem.
I did not drop it or abuse it in any ways. Always kept it clean .
I am attaching a screenshot of the battery after it happened
If anyone has any idea of what could it be and share i would REALLY appreciate it
Thank you

I will get a new battery and see.
Hi,
I've recently bought a Sony Xperia ZR refurbished. It was really smooth and all, then suddenl it stopped working. It turned out it was the battery which was empty. I bought a new official sony battery, and the same thing happened to me, but I had the time to take those screens.
I've tried charging it offline, while turned on, with fast chargers, with a sony official charger... I don't know what I can do next!
Thanks in advance for every answer or piece of answer you can post.

A lot of people seem to have this problem and it seems to be the usb charging board that is faulty, some said that changing the charging board fixed the issue for them You should try wiping cache in recovery or even a factory reset before you opt for swapping the board.
Or go for an external charger.
But what about the temperature sensor that shows -30°C? Is it linked with the usb charging board or is it something else?*
And I can only find micro usb ports, not the entire charging board for my device... Do you think there is a way?
I've already done a factory reset before flashing a CM rom so it must not be in cache.
I have some new informations that might be helpful!
First, when I turn on the phone, it always starts at 6% then slowly grow until the real %. Is it then a hardware or a software issue?
Also, friday, I let the phone charging through saturday within offline mode. The battery was still to 20%. However, I charged it again sunday morning for 30-40mn and it was filled to 60%! (the higher % I ever get)
I don't know if it can help...
Hi people, I have a Galaxy Note 10.1 (N8000), and since a few years ago is stored because from one day to another stopped working, when you turn on normally the screen is something like interference, has no movement, there is no sound of the system, just stays like that and occasionally restarts, but if Odin mode works "normally", I tried to flash the system in several ways and following various tutorials but nothing has worked yet. At some point it was taken to a "technician" to be checked, but the answer he gave was that the whole motherboard had to be replaced.
Does anyone know if this has a solution?

The eMMC needs to be replaced, I'm doing this as a professional, don't know if theres a store which can do this in your country.
Open the tab and see if the flex cable from the screen is still properly seated in the connector. If not, open the lock and reinsert the flex cable from the screen correctly and close the lock again.

You can see, that the download mode looks normal.
It's the typical picture, if theres no data readable from the param partition,
mostly defective eMMC.
Hey all, sorry to post this like a totally professional noob but, this phone is kinda give me headaches and I am totally ON to reflash the rom or even modify the kernel if needed.
The problem manifests as this with this phone:
* Everything works fine, with the exception being the charging (and some other minor glitches like a custom fingerprint can't be added anymore).
* It does not charge when ON, or when TURNED OFF and the charger screen is showing. More detailed: When on, the battery discharges even when plugged in and "charging".
* When turned off it shows that it is charging, and doesn't go above 1%. But here comes the tricky part: When I press the Power Button + Volume UP I got the menu with: Recovery Mode / Fast Boot Mode / Normal boot. I left it in that menu to charge and I got back to 40% in a few hours, 50% only one time, I guess it's a slow charge in that mode but at least it's charging.
As soon as I boot it up properly and with the charger connected, battery begins to deplete instead of charge. I bought another 2 chargers and 2 cables, same issues both on AC and on USB to a PC.
What seems to be the problem? Faulty kernel? Some other things?
If I need to reflash it I don't know the tools needed for this phone and especially, the stock rom.
Thank you for your attention xD

Take it to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.
