Hello everyone,
Decided to make an arcade style game as my first android game project.
The idea was mostly to learn / test different aspects of android game development but it's a complete game experience in its own right with 2 main modes: hand-made campaign with 50 levels (normal/hardcore modes) and procedurally generated endless mode with high scores (+Google Play leaderboards).
There's no specific engine used, everything is drawn on the canvas (probably wasn't the best idea but seems to be working just fine). Controls with swipes anywhere on the screen. Includes integration with Google Play Services Achievements and Leaderboards.
I did all the initial testing on my own on both actual devices and emulators but i'm still looking for feedback on
present issues and, maybe, just general ideas on what can be improved / is missing / shouldn't be there in the first place.
Game Link: *can't post the full link due to being a new user but it's on Play Store with details id com.rain8studios.dungeondash or just search "Dungeon Dash": Arcade (include quotation marks just in case).
Requirements: Android 4.4 and above

Well, as you've mentioned, graphics needs some work for the game to be visually attractive, but despite cosmetic issues, I did not find a way to exit application. Also, if I leave the game using "Home" from main menu it eats 80MB of RAM (leaving from a random level left me with app using around 60MB). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that's normal - none of the games (which were much more graphical, detailed and with more sounds) I have did not use so much using same test - enter the game, click "Home", check "Task manager".
PokerBox is a simple but addictive draw video poker which simulates the games you found in casinos. There are two game modes:
practice mode : the app can be used as a video poker trainer.

play mode: play the game with a limited amount of coins (exactly as in the real world). This mode is even more challenging as there are more global leader-boards available together with some rather unique achievements which make the game even more enjoyable.
Each day you play the game you will receive a small sum of coins as a reward, and there are also few optional actions which offer additional rewards.
You can compete with your friends or with players from all over the world. Unique achievements and global leader boards make the game more interesting.

Blackjack game for Android
Here are a couple screenshots of the Android app I recently wrote. Some of you may recognize this app from the Ubuntu Touch version I originally wrote. It’s a classic Blackjack card game, but with a few modifications to make it even more fun. The game features a refreshing design and pleasant sound effects. The stakes get higher as the rounds progress. Earn bonus points for every blackjack. Power rounds provide an opportunity for huge rewards…if you play your hand wisely!
In addition, enjoy the following social features:
Unlock achievements based on your performance.
Sign in with Google+ to see how your high scores compare among your friends.

Blackjack is among the best games on the market for passing a few minutes of time. It is available now on your Android device via the Play Store.
I've pushed a new version with additional achievements and several other improvements. This little game has turned into a great way to pass a few minutes of time!
Hi everyone!
Our team launched first project on Google Play - Sketchbook Adventure, fast paced 2D runner that combines hand drawn visual style and intense gameplay to create unique experience.
It's available for free at
It features simple one touch controls and dymanic levels that require skill and precision to get through.
To add competition to our game we've integrated Play Games global leaderboards so people can share their achievements and compare results.
Since this is our first public project we need all the feedback we can get to improve the game and our future projects.
Let me know if you have any comment or suggestion.

Hi,
I am creating this post to give you some information about the development/release process of the game "Floating Duck". I will try to make this post interactive by implementing good suggestions and answer all questions related to this project (new features / graphics / code / etc.)
"Floating Duck" has been designed to be a mixture of two genre, arcade and runner. I tried to combine those two styles because I did not find many games designed that way. The game has been developed without using any game framework which makes it light and responsive (the code has been written from scratch). The design of the gameplay gives to the player two axis of freedom (and ability to stop), which makes it different than the other runners.

Leaderboard in Floating Duck
Hi,
A new update of the game Floating Duck is available.
I added a leaderboard using the google play services, I guess this will give to player a score comparaison reference. I am still wondering if adding achievements could potentially be a good idea for this game. What do you guys think?
