True it redirected me to an e-commerce ad.

- MUST keep the page in order to download the ROM but the download stopped at 924MB even when the page is still there, no reload
- Everyone has to pay if they want higher download speed WHICH never needed before in ANY ROMs

Tried multiple times to download but either download stopped before finishing or popped up annoying ads.
ultimately decided to try another rom instead.

fishy download method.. change server please or i will have to call de police...

The way to download the rom is not only troublesome but makes you suspicious about the safety using it.That's not the best way to start...

Yeah, is not the best form to download that big files.
Other ones is downloaded in very short time.

new rom developer for old device?! amazing phone and the dev!

I tried to download this ROM and it's impossible, I wanted to use it but they never fixed download error, I will try another ROM.

Hello your rom works well I really like the brightness slider in this regard I would like the slider to be visible even when expanding the notification panel and that you can customize the grids and columns of the panel. At the moment only the columns can be modified. Then it would take more customization functions as in other Rom

Anybody have screenshot of UI

Can someone tell me if this ROM has some features I need please?
1) Force Expanded Notifications
2) Working Internet Speed Counter
3) Working Huawei health App

Bro can i apply official maintainer for riva???

About - Aokp
AOKP, short for Android Open Kang Project, is an open-source replacement distribution for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile operating system. The name is a play on the word kang (slang for stolen code) and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was a joke, but it stuck.[1] It was started as free and open-source software by Roman Birg based on the official releases of Android Open Source Project by Google, with added original and third-party code, features, and control.
Although only a portion of the total AOKP users elect to report their use of the firmware, as of September 2013, it is used by more than 3.5 million devices across the world..
Code:

2. Navigation ring: Actions can be assigned to the navigation ring, to allow for quicker access applications.
3. Ribbon: Allows users to use swipe gestures anywhere and enables a system-wide custom application shortcuts and actions.
4. Vibration patterns: Users can build custom vibration patterns to be assigned to notifications from certain applications or calls from certain people.
5. Native theme support: Themes, downloaded from the Google Play Store or from other sources, can be applied to give a modified appearance to the device interface. AOKP now features Substratum support.
6. Customization of the hardware and software buttons, including track skip/flashlight while the screen is off, PIE control and the
ROM's unique Fling navigation system
7. UI control, including colour strokes and background blue
8. Status bar customization, such as battery icon stylization and network activity

does the rom have VoLTE icon in Statusbar?
@Raghu varma
I have just installed
Android setup crashed once during setup. I was able to setup my device though
All AOKP features are there. Smart pixel option in ROM controll doesn't work (toast message "this device is not supported" appears)
ROM control theme can't be set to dark. And that whole section does not support 18:9 format, which leads to minor navigation bar glitch. I can also be a little slow
I couldn't find VoLTE icon option. ViLTE seems to be supported (there is a option to disable that feature)
However all of these seem to be AOKP bugs.
Device bug which i found is, that manual mobile network selection doesn't work. You can search for network but once you select one phone still connects to the same network it was connected before + manual network selection box is still ticked. Here is a logcat (from beggining of network search to signal appearing again)

They've improved the current situation and upgraded their fair usage policy for the maximum allowed bandwidth to 700kbps, without ads. It should be good now.

What's the point in this restriction? This ROM is really hard to download like many adds which were removed on MOD actions and now this restriction which i seen first time in downloading ROM from xda. Maybe some stances available over here however i never met except this. Leaving it as it is maybe restrictions penetrated in ROM also.
Looking forward for easy download source and vanilla build. Good LuckView attachment 4966643

They were not removed because of mod actions. I don't control the distribution of the downloads, and I'm just a maintainer. I don't have decisions in core things like that.
Unable to download the ROM, it doesn't even start. Could you please report to the owner?

Really appreciate this rom. The only rom really changing anything significant as far as look of UI is concerned. Everything works great after 24 hours in, battery and performance is fine and it is just great to have something that looks different from all the other roms
After using it a bit longer, I've found that when my Bluetooth earphones (Jabra elite active 65t) are connected, everything lags and although music was fine, just turning Bluetooth off was difficult due to lag
Any option to disable HW keys? and also navigation gesture don't work properly back gesture seems broken

• improved system stability
• user interface enhancements

You're among the very first developers to port android 12 so thank you very much for your efforts ,also are there any bugs I should be aware of before installing this rom?
So here's my experience after a couple of hours with your port.
I'll start with the bad and then the good stuff.
Bad:
1- there are frame drops when opening settings and when opening notification panel
2- When rotating, the animation seems to be too fast so it needs to be tweaked.
3- The haptic feedback is just too strong when typing that it makes me uncomfortable
4- The Bluetooth is not working (stuck on "turning on" and when I close the notification panel it goes back to off like it wasn't pressed at all)
Good:
1- the rom is quite smooth aside from the laggy animations I mentioned before.
2- The rom is almost bug free so I had a fun experience with it.
3- The battery life is really good, I wish I could still see screen on time numbers from settings like on previous android versions though but that's out of your hand.
also: which Gcam do you recommend for this rom? And is there a customization page in settings?
PS: Excited to see your coming works.
I'd Like to start with a thanks for creating this port
My experience after a couple of hours with your rom is similar to Kamikaze1336 but I found some extra bugs
Screen Recording- Whenever I take a recording and try to playback it doesn't playback rather it just sticks to a frame
Mobile data- Tho I was able to fix this easily in the mobile data setting I did notice some throttle and sometimes it doesn't just work ........... My Internet speed is really fast so I figured it isn't from the carrier
Bluetooth- It wouldn't just turn on so I guess that's a major bug to watch out for
Excluding all these bugs the port is just amazing as the whole ui is smooth, there's little to no frame drop, and the interface is perfect. It'll be captivating to see extra fixes to this rom and porting of other roms.. Thanks
Update*
Upon more experimentation I decided to check out how the ROM will cope after a factory reset and these are the things I noticed
Lag- There were multiple Frame drops as I continued to use this ROM
Apps - There was a multitude of seizures when opening Apps forcing me to reopen them over and over to ensure a working state and sometimes they just don't respond after some seconds
Bluetooth- This is a major bug that would be perfect if fixed .. just pointing it out
For now I'll port back to lineage OS 11 and wait for updates on this ROM ... Thanks again for the wonderful Port

Raghu is currently working on his private builds (you can access them on his telegram by donating to his project) and I don't think he will be updating this build soon.
News for everyone having bugs with the rom: Raghu has released a new kernel with the fixes on his SourceForge page.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/drg-sprout/files/Black_Caps-Edition/Black_caps-12.0-CLANG-FIH-SDM660-2018-20211117.zip/download
So what does this kernel do? well for me it fixed my bluetooth issues and the system feels more responsive and stable over all.
Hi!
I have some problem in latest build 12 with video players, like NewPipe , can't start play video, got message. " unsupported player" , or " player error "
I don't know where is problem, maybe missing some codec or in vendor stuff ?
Can someone help me?

so far, so good! I did have a FC crash on the initial setup but it self recovered and worked fine! I am building it out but it looks really good so far! out of the box passing SafetyNet is nice, I was quite surprised to see Netflix show up BEFORE I tweaked anything (MAGISK/ROOT/ETC), it just worked (which is fantastic)!
Anyone else having WiFi drop using 5G or is it my openwrr? Normal works fine but when I switch to 5G using my openwrt router it drops but no other android 12 happens. Normal is fine and originally setting up my device was fine, it wasn't until a system app updated that it's started dropping so I'm testing a few things to see if I rule it down.
EDIT, NM, it was the adaptive connectivity, I turned that off and bingo. No more issues so that was my own doing but NOT a ROM issue!
Is this ROM only for Coral? Or it can be installed on Flame too? Thank you!

I am not the dev on this, but I did search the website download and couldnt find anything for the PX4 - flame (but you could check with the dev):
is there an option to kill an app by long pressing the back button in this rom ?
This ROM is super smooth. Loving every bit of it and a huge improvement on stock android 12. Keep up the excellent work!
I have a question though since I've been out of the game for a while now, is root able to be installed on android 12 and still pass safetynet?
Are the steps for this ROM to be rooted to install the magisk app, patch the boot.img of this ROM, and install magiskhide afterward, or am I missing something? Thanks in advance

Just patch the boot.img with magisk and then fastboot flash that. The rest idk because I don't root. But it guess you need the universal safetynetfix if that's still a thing?

Question:
Is this ROM working with Pixel 4XLs face unlock? What about Soli features and so on?
I am tempted to try this one out, as I am having terrible issues with the stock ROM.
