Dears, I have just migrated from iPhone to Note10, and installed manually about 100 apps.
While the phone is in wireless charging condition, I got ads on the lock screen .
Samsung tells me they are not responsible of 3rd party apps, and I have to restore phone from scratch.
I dont want to troubleshoot apps one by one to look for guilty.
Do you have any suggestion for a software that can find those issues?
Kaspersky or Malwarebytes didnt find any issue.
Thanks.
Here is the photo, how they look like.

Did you figure it out? Because there are apps such as ES File Explorer that will put ads like this during charging.
If you dumped a list of apps people would likely be able to help you get to the bottom of this.

Great idea !
I attach a TXT file, I hope you guys can read through it.
Yeah you weren't kidding. You def do have a a ton of apps. It's hard to figure out which one would be the culprit.
Games wouldn't cause this issue. It's utility apps that would put the advertisements on your screen. Like a flashlight, or a file browser or something along those lines.
If you can't figure out which app I dm'd you something to help for the meantime.

go to settings apps permission manager and change network usage permission (dont allow) for apps you doubt in installed apps
and also permission regarding draw over other apps also not allow
Indeed I think I have to try one by one.. either uninstalling or blocking their network .
Thank you anyhow!
I do find weird that such setting/permission is not managed centrally by Samsung or Android: "usage of lock screen while charging"
If that would be available, then any App asking for it would be easily tracked.
Got it !
It's a Samsung app, called Samsung Global Goals, it runs as for charity purposes.

ok ive done a ton of searching and tried a bunch of apps with NOOOOO success
i get a push from notification every fewdays to a few times a day cant see a pattern or an app that is causing it they are for free ipads or something along them lines
ive tried to remove them by replying to them as they ask,
googling the website and reading some pretty bad stuff about them didnt make things any better
all the apps ive tried and have had zero results from them :
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bartat.android.elixir
https://market.android.com/details?id=bt.android.elixir
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.antivirus

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.airpush.optoutapp
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.denper.addonsdetector
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bigtincan.android.adfree
they aren't coming from tmobile i called them
what causes this? and how do i fix it ? arent the airpush defender apps supposed to pick this stuff up?
Obviously an app you've installed is pushing apps to your notification bar. Try
https://market.android.com/details?...GwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5sb29rb3V0LmFkZGV0ZWN0b3IiXQ..
It may or may not find it, any suspicious apps you've downloaded since it started?
Do you run an ad blocker? I remember I had a problem like that myself then realized I hadn't configured my ad block app since doing a fresh ROM install and poof no more push ads. Of course I may have removed the offending app as well, I think I was also testing a folder apps at the time as well. But in theory something like Ad Free should block it since it would be uploaded from the web and blocking the DNS of that ad would cause that ad to no longer be able to put itself on the phone.
It seems obivous but right?
Also any idea why my browser crashes constantly
I'm downloading the app recommended in the above post ill let ya know how it goes
OK so that app got some results but I don't know any of them? So where are they coming from?

Ad mob is Google ads.
I think the last time this issue was posted the person wiped then restored apps one at a time. It's the only thing I can see at this point, or repost in the Android general section since it will reach more people.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalki messed with the app some more I see what apps are being naughty. But the problem I see is almost all of my apps have some sort of offending process
Astro being one that kinda bothers me clockwork rom manager being another. The apps I have aren't games or gimmicky things they are tools to use the phone bloat freezer was one I deleted it
So right now the apps that are offenders are:
Astro
Slider
Wifi analizer
Notes lite
Rom manager (cwm)
Are Droid
GSM signal monitor
Ant tek app manager
Try something called airpush detector from the market.
So guys here are some screen shots of some notifications I keep getting daily. It takes me to a website offering my a free ipad.
Hoping you may recognize this and be able to help me locate the culprit.
Mant thanks in advance

Amazing, now I just received a new one.....
1.Have a look if you have unchecked Google AdMobs in Playstore Settings
2. Try "Airblocker" from the Playstore
These steps worked for me in a similar case.
Thanks will try, but why is this even happening?
The app located Sky Map Pro as the culprit so uninstalled that, so hope it works.
Never experienced this with the iPhone. Shame on Android for letting such apps through the approval process!
If we compare Play to iTunes Store - there is no approval process here ( there is, but compared to iOS it's like there is none ). Everyone can publish their apps of every kind - no restriction, no "you can't do this or that" from Google.
You have to be careful what you install. There is always the option to report an app - and then Google will take a loot at it, so i'd suggest you do that.
Hey, you guys are so lucky! Fee iPads!
I had this a while ago with a game I downloaded online (an iPhone port, not a paid app) and it kept happening out of nowhere!
Use a "task manager" or "task killer" app from the market and close any open apps one by one until you see the notification disappear. That way you'll find out which app is poisoning your phone, and you delete it straight away.
Problem solved and make sure you let people in this thread know, so if they have the same app causing this issue, then they can delete it immediately.
Hope that helps
Sent from my White Galaxy Note, using Tapatalk 2 Beta 5
thats how i solved it
i had that problem.
very simple ...
when u press on the notification its using the spam app to open the link.
after u press the notification
press long press on the home menu, u will see the last used apps. check the last one on the list.
thats the Spam one ! ! !
I had these before and always after a reboot....
Then I went to Play store and installed Airpush Detector. Check and Uninstalled those ad-wares.
It's gone now!
Thanks for all the great replies guys. I really appreciate it, cheers
What is this process that I see many apps are leaving behind on exit and has to be manually closed? Why does it exist?
Comon anyone?? As an example where's my water leaves this process behind on exit.

In app purchases with Google wallet. It shouldn't be in running apps, just in cached apps so no biggie.

Sadly it's in running apps until I manually kill it. Currently apart from wheres my water it happens with another app "wallpaper changer".

The process gets triggered every time I open the app.
These 2 are apps from very established devs so it cant be spam.
Hmm not cool. Somebody else might chime in on this, but I can see why you wouldn't want it running if it sticks when you exited the app. :/
Edit: I believe you would need to contact the app coders to fix this issue. Other apps that have billing work fine, so they're likely stopping the service properly unlike WMW and wallpaper changer.
For the reference, WMW has been through numerous patches, so it's not really a matter of spam rather than sometimes shoddy coding.

Yes I suppose this is correct I have many other apps as well with in app purchasing options and they dont do this.
Thanks for the input.
If somebody else also knows about this then do chime in.
Bought wheres my perry in the ongoing sale and it does the same thing. :|
The stupid billing service process is that process which are not give desired results. That means which not meet our need.

Hi there. Recently, ads that look like the image above have been popping up insistently on my phone. Every single time i pick it up after an interval, the ad pops up and takes up the whole screen, unless i click "no, thanks" or "Back" or "Home" it won't go away.
I'm getting very frustrated and i have uninstalled about 90% of my apps. I installed cleanmaster to clean my system cache to get rid of any unwanted files and i run it all the time. I've also tried all the ad blockers/detectors on the play store but they cannot detect any sign of malicious software.
Any advice? I would really hate to do a factory reset but i would like to know the cause of the problem, if it's an app. What's the point of having an android if i can't install any apps?!
Any ideas on how i can get to the root of the problem? It's frustrating as f***.
what happens if you press the recents button? does it show any app or just not respond?

It opens a webpage. One of those annoying "contest" websites where you are asked to do quizzes or enter your number to win a prize.

Hum... It's on your side, not Android... You obviously downloaded something...
It's an app for sure, but we cant help you unless you show us the list of your remaining apps.
When you find it, just uninstall it. No need to clear cash or anything, it wont make a difference anyway. And if you got it from google play, you should report it since it is against their guidelines. https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479847?hl=en
If it is not from the play store e.g. some pirate app, I dont feel sorry for you... If it's a legitimate app from outside the playstore you should raise your concern with the developer.
Searching around for a guide or better yet app to remove all the phone files from my p900. I would think it might benefit from that stuff not loading and running when its useless. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.
Forgot to mention running stock lollypop 5.0.2 by Civato full Samsung rom.
There are many app removers on Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=app remover&c=apps&hl=en
Yes there are app removers. Have not found anything that will remove/kill phone services. Freezing them in titanium doesn't seem to stop them either. I was hoping someone knew what files and apks to safely remove.

I wonder why you believe there are phone services running in a Wifi model SM-P900. Even in a LTE tablet , all phone apps are disable.
This is an example from my LTE tablet from TMobile, Phone app is disable to prevent users use a LTE tablet as a phone.
Look at your Application Manager--> All, you will see Phone app is disable.

Even if you want to use LTE tablet as a phone, a modem must be installed and voice call must be enable in the firmware

If you look at running apps and services with an app like say fmr memory I think its called. You will see phone related apps running. I use it to find, tweak and turn off things I don't use or need with Titanium.

You should post a snapshot of processed of those you think phone related apps; otherwise it's very hard to answer a general question
regarding phone activities in a Wifi Note Pro.
My LTE doesn't have any activities of phone services when checking all running apps.
Deleted com.phone.android and it no longer runs. Many task apps show more detail on what is actually running on your system.
