What I like about this app is the fact that you just get the same functionality as the old mxplayer application and don't get the whole "download a game to download a movie" button that pops up in the app.
I just downloaded mxplayer and want to watch a film I downloaded the subtitle but it displays that in order to continue open subtitle service you need to login

Hi i was watching a video in the Mxplayer. After some time i removed the video while the player was still in the background. When i opened the player again it was showing an error message "This video cannot be played" with an OK button. When i close the error message the player instead of going back to the videos list, still trying to play the same file and the same error message is shown repeatedly. I have to force quit the app to stop the error message.

Looks like you are launching again from recent apps.
It may happen when you start play the video from external app. In that case mx player will be called by the activity. If you open again from recent app, it will call the particular activity rather than the main app activity. So, mx player will try to open the same file.
Just try to open mx player from launcher. Just play a video & close it. Now delete the file & open from recent file. It will open the main activity.

I use mx player as an artist.
But there is a problem.
I play mpg files directly from es file.explorer.
When I press the back button during playback, in order to go back to es file explorer to find the next track, mx player pauses performance for a.split second.
It was not like that a year ago but since 6 months there is this .

1-I try to open some video ext like .mpeg and it show not supported. And .rm file it show sound not support
2- some video file show small display. Why? How to fix it ?
3- I don't like when I open any video file from any file app starting all video file in same folder one after one direct . How I can make it to play one video and stop or to clouse the app like other player app?

Thanks for sharing your concerns.
To provide a more stable experience to pro users, we may release some new/experimental features on the free version first. However, we assure that they will be released to the pro version once it's stability is ensured.
Hopefully, MX Player Pro with chrome cast and native 64bit support will be released to beta users by early next week. Stay tuned with us for further updates
Can't cast SMB Networked media (NAS) - Playing stops dead and won't restart
I use "CX File Explorer" on my Note 8 to explore my shared networked drives. (NAS) When I tap on networked media in CX File Explorer it passes the file to MX Player Pro to open. The files play perfectly on the phone screen in MX Player as they should. However, if I then hit the cast button in MX Player the playing file stops dead.
I see open media information on the cast screen with the MX Player logo at bottom. If I go back to CX File Explorer and reopen more media in the networked folder the same "open media screen" stays on the cast screen. The phone screen flashes like it tried to open and then acts like nothing happened. Networked media will NEVER open or start. Happens on ALL networked media files once cast is enabled.
If I leave cast enabled in MX Player and then browse to local storage in CX File Explorer and open another copy of the SAME media file it will start playing perfectly on the cast screen as it is supposed to. The phone screen will also change to MX Player control as it is supposed to. Everything works properly as it should, providing the media is on LOCAL storage and NOT from a networked drive.
So strange that networked media works perfectly in MX Player when cast is OFF and not at all when cast is ON. What am I doing wrong? Is this a bug? Proper casting has only just been added to MX Player. I love the cast feature. Can we get cast working with media files on shared network drives? (NAS)

There’s a subtitle error that happens every time I swap from the mx player app to another app while a video is opened, or when I close the phone screen,
When I return back to the said opened video (on device offline video), and try to fast backward in the video, the subtitle (which is also offline) doesn’t show up on the entire section before the resumed part,
And even when I try to swipe on the subtitle itself backward, it acts like the resumed part is where the subtitle actually begins,
I’m currently using the last version of mx player free (1.22.8)
And I’m using redmi note 8 phone.

I will describe the essence of the problem: I use this player as a music player in the car, open the folder I need and click the play all button, I have 184 songs there, everything is added normally to the playlist, but there is a moment: when you close all applications and reopen MX Player Pro, only 30 (random?) songs adding, not everything that was last on this list. Please fix the bug! or add a check mark in the application settings "when launching the application, add to the playlist all the songs that were in it during the last use of the player"
well, it really pisses me off, every time you re-enter the local player > swipe-go to folders > click play all.
