to see if the new maintainer is able to correct and prevent the lock screen from rotating when the screen is automatically turned on.
I'm not sure if this is the cause, but after I updated the new incremental update yesterday, I found that WeChat could not connect to the network, and neither wlan nor LTE worked. Now I am considering whether to roll back the January version.
Now I flash back to the January version, and WeChat works normally. So now I suspect that the incremental update has affected the normal operation of WeChat, and trouble you to troubleshoot. Hard work.
I updated my mi 6x to this release, but wechat, chrome, and sound didn't work. So I rolled it back.
I also tried clean flash, same problems. Hope that will be fixed in next update.
Wechat can't connect to the network.
The latest version of chrome browser freezed and crashed after opening for a short period of time.
Media sound for apps like youtube lost after pause and replay.

Without knowing the difference, no promotion took place for any ROM, which is missing in OP. Thank you for responding which is also silly ...

The same.. Recently had wiping data, dalwik and cache and installed the last build with from download.pixel.org. The update is avaliable anyway.. The installed build bumber is old. And TWRP says before te rebot that "System is not installed. Are you sure you want to reboot?"
I solved this problem by:
1. Wiping everything in TWRP
2. installing PixelExperience_jasmine_sprout-10.0-20200214-1550-OFFICIAL.zip for first.
3. Wiping dalwik/cache/data (standart wipe in twrp)
4. installing PixelExperience_jasmine_sprout-10.0-20200215-1517-OFFICIAL.zip
All the data will be lost!

After a reboot I get error saying that there's internal error with device and to contact device producer. Also I can't flash TWRP following instructions from thread about flashing on A/B devices.

To fixed that use root explorer look for system/vendor/build.prop delete the line that ro.vendor.build.fingerprint blah blah blah, then paste this one ot will be fixed
ro.vendor.build.fingerprint=xiaomi/jasmine/jasmine_sprout:9/PKQ1.180904.001/V10.0.9.0.PDIMIXM:user/release-keys
Error occurred becase there are different fingerprint in system build.prop and vendor build.prop

I believe I found a bug, when I turn off the phone and put it to charge, the battery percentage indicator doesn't show up, the screen lights up if I press the power button, but nothing ever comes out of it, the only indication that my phone is charging is the LED that remains on while connected to the power outlet.

I'm using fw+vendor 9.7.4 and so far so good, didn't check about other vendors
Could you advise installation procedure without deleting vendor files as I am on 9.7.4... Or Would I have to wipe + format and flash vendor?

Plus Edition build was removed due loops on setup due sepolicy issue (watchdog trigger). A new build will be pushed later or tomorrow with that fixed. For now Pie Edition build is your only option.

Anyone tried with 10.3.4 vendor+fw+baseband?
First of all, thank you for your work. It's great to have another ROM for our device. My first impressions.
1 - Had to install 9.7.4 china vendor. Started with 10.3.4 eea but I couldn't even complete setup due to constant media and acore crashes.
2 - Dark theme is not working. (Explained.)
3 - Face unlock doesn't work out of the box. I had to do the same thing I did with the other AOSP ROMs: install pico gapps + faceunlock.zip file. (Solved. My fault.)
On the other hand, I'm glad to see that SIM management is working and it saves the SIM state (first AOSP ROM doing that). I don't know what the plus version will have, but I miss advanced reboot and an option to customize status bar with some padding. Now let's use it for a while and see how it performs.
edit: yeah, pico gapps + faceunlock.zip broke system (phone is starting loop). so no face unlock, for now.

So, pico gapps removes stock launcher and keyboard, that's why phone couldn't start. I solved that, installing nova and keyboard. Unfortunately, faceunlock.zip doesn't work with pixel experience. Also, the phone always start in mute state.

Check out this thread, from which you can download latest Pie fw as an about 60 MiB sized flashable zip.

P.S.: And notice that even though you might have already flashed the ROM you can still simply update the fw, as it is installed to completely different partitions to the ones you touch when installing or updating ROMs.
So you can flash fw without any wipes also.
Usually the other way around (fw before ROM) is the suggested one, but only because it might happen that the ROM requires a minimum fw version to be present.
But you'll get notified with an error (I think error 7), in which case you'll then know what to do.
The version flashed will also stick until you explicitly flash another (or return to some stock version), so no need to flash the same fw version over and over.
I'm currently on the Nebrassy's MIUI 10 port. Can I just clean install it like I would any other ROM?

if coming from stock miui 12.0.2 or later - flash the rom in twrp and format data
if coming from 05/31 build - flash latest firmware, then flash rom in twrp and format data

Have you tried formatting data after flashing rom?

The secret is to install from the last build, 05/31. Starting from it just install the firmware 12.03, in the link that the developer posted, and then the rom of 08/22. Normal boot!
Any chance getting FM radio working?

So i must install PE 31.05 after Miui12 after PE 22.08?
Safety Net fails.
Followed procedure to a T. Might want to add to Known Issues.
You install the 11.0.5 firmware and the 5/31 rom. Then just install the 12.0.3 firmware, the link is in the second post of the developer, and then the current rom. Remember to wipe everything, including the system, before installing the one on 31.05. Then you can install the current and the current firmware without wipe.
I'm also stuck on bootloop with mi logo. I have wiped data. Made no difference. I've also tried wiping everything, then reinstalling MIUI official again (using MiFlash tool), then reinstalling PixelExperience again (using TWRP 3.4.0.0) - which resulted in the same boot loop, never getting past the mi logo.
I'm using a 9T EEA version, and was trying to install PixelExperience Plus edidition.
I was going to try and get some support through the telegram group, but I need a mobile phone number to create an account, which means I need to get the phone working first!
UPDATE: I have now also tried starting with both EEA and Global MIUI roms (12.0.3.0), and both PE and PE+ editions. the outcome is always the same. TWRP says everything was successful, but when I reboot it gets stuck in and endless loop
