Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

It does have the NGA UI but it's a big hit or miss. It only works 2/10 time. Other than that everything seems to work fine so far. Going to test out Android Auto later...

All I got to say

Awesome, I used to use your ROM on Crosshatch and it was the best there. Thanks for your hard work!

Ok thx for your answer. I will remain on phhusson's vanilla GSI then.
But it's nice to see that the number of roms grow slowly.
@xlxfoxxlx
Probably this question is useless but: Can you make builds without Gapps + Google Play Services?

I'm so happy to hear this. Looking forward to the stable release.
Does the rom support signature spoofing? If not can you add it?

Do you plan to support pixel 4?

Anyone test att wifi calling?

@xlxfoxxlx I'm reporting two features that are not working for me. I'm sending the screenshots for you to see which ones. Please let me know if they are working for you. Thanks.
I don't use magisk, no root. I just use the build as it is.

WOW. This ROM is awesome. The change to a CAF base is really worth it. Thank you @Aayushya, for your support!
P.S.: I read that this ROM has the December patch, and will only get the January patch when CAF is ready. So better not to ask for it before it is possible to provide. That being said, if you want a fluid ROM and good battery life (from what I can see so far) then this ROM is for you!

Dunno what you're talking about. I haven't even flashed Kaminari's kernel and a couple of other mods I regularly use and it is working just fine.
thanks for your works @Aayushya but rom is very slow on me too.
Does this feature signature spoofing? If not, is there a possibility it'll be added at some point in the future?

Hi guys, new build up on the official website, do try it out! I was on it for a while, lag was considerably a lot lesser than before. But then it could just be me! Let me know how it works for you, if it still lags we might have to discontinue this.

No it isn't in the OP, because the OP has got to comply with AOSiP's thread format. Well, Derpfest focuses on merging the stability of AOSiP with the exact customisations as per a user needs. Tbh, I personally feel using it is beautiful, because it isn't bloated with unnecessary additions, and it looks very very amazing.

And another question I have: can I dirty flash over the latest AOSiP build?

It doesn't set (or bind) any custom app in navigation buttons settings. Custom actions work fine though.
Can anyone check this?) thnx!

Hello Mr czynot thanks for your new rom.since both crdroid and aosip derfest is your build so I just want to ask a question which ROM is more smoother and has faster app lunching speed. Which builds of your ROM should I use.
Bugs I encountered:
1) Location only shows GPS Only. And when I click on Battery Savings on Location it turns it off. Clicking High Accuracy doesn't work.
2) Recents Icon Pack doesn't apply on Pie Recents

Is Anyone facing problem with charging? I switched to derpfest yesterday and I noticed today that my phone is getting charged till 80% then charging would stop. It would discharge till 70% and then resumes charging. I tried callibrating the battery but it wasn't helpful(maybe because the phone was not charged till 100%) Can anyone suggest something regarding this. Thank you very much in advance.

On the screenshots you see Google Play Services running, so Gapps are working obviously.
Pretty surely something on your end (also cause noone else complained about this issue before).
Might be the flashing order as one usually flashes Gapps along with the ROM before the first bootup, and from what you describe, I think you booted the ROM without Gapps first.
I would recommend a clean install and try the usual way.
For myself - I'm on vacation and didn't have the time or internet connection to flash this myself, but I will certainly try by the time I got home.
Looks very promising!
@NE0HP why do you think the presence of Magisk would solve a bootloop? Just curious.

People have reported this on telegram channel that if you flash GApps and reboot to system without flashing Magisk then it will bootloops and OP also knows. ROM boots fine w/o GApps & w/o Magisk so I think it's known issue...I'm sure OP will resolve this in future updates..

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
Mention any and all Magisk modules you might be using along with the Magisk version
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: What GApps do I flash?
A: OpenGApps Beta is fine.
Q: How often will I be getting updates?
A: The plan is for weeklies, if unavoidable circumstances come up, please don't spam the thread. I will release a build as soon as one is ready.
Q: Does VoLTE/VoWiFi work?
A: VoLTE works, I have tested on Jio in India and a couple of my US based testers have too.
VoWiFi (WiFi Calling) works based on my testers, I can't test this personally since India doesn't have this feature but I trust my testers and if they say its working, its working.
Q: Does Android Auto work?
A: I don't have accessibility to an Android Auto vehicle nor the hardware but my testers have confirmed that it works! Let me know if it does for you too so that others have concrete proof about it.
Q: Is the ROM official?
A: The ROM is an early Alpha build, I am the Official maintainer for Mi 6X AOSiP but the ROM is too early in the cycle right now for it to be tagged as Official and is therefore nothing more than an Alpha.
Q: I use Telegram, where can I find help on that platform?
A: There is a AOSiP - Mi A2/6X chat, the link is HERE
Q: Does SafteyNet pass and is the SELinux Enforcing?
A: Yes, SafteyNet does pass out-of-the-box and SELinux is Enforcing.
Q: I'm having high idle drain, please fix.
A: I'll need more data from you to figure it out, Install BetterBatteryStats and let me know about what it tells you after 3-4 charge cycles. Please do not report issues when having apps like Greenify, Naptime, Wakelock blocker etc.

TWRP included?
Yes, it has TWRP. Loved this ROM back then, before it eventually ran out of updates.
Right now the thing I'm noticing the most is that the_diese GCam's mod is crashing, while it worked perfectly in stock ROM. Safetynet is also failing the the ctsprofile check, just plain vanilla magisk install.

New build is uploaded to aosip servers and sourceforge mirrors containing safety net fix and screen bleeding/retention fix. You should be getting OTA notifications soon.
installed latest version with gapps, very very smooth so far, still have to test battery but seems promising
New build is up AOSiP-10-Gapps-jasmine_sprout-20200513.zip
@kenny3fcb
Dear dev, thank you so much for your no-frills attitude towards your builds. I was really excited to install your latest one and to find out it having a really consistent battery back-up. It is fluent and rock-stable, everything works as expected, GCam works good as well. No unnecessary bump of kernel version with each new build is quite rare these days, I think it's good to stop and focus on stability like you do. I really think this ROM is way better than many others, but why this thread looks rather abandoned?
One point, though. Apps tend to get killed in background way more often, than in PE, I think. Could you make them stay up for a bit longer? Apps tend to reload when I multitask.
To anyone who wants to try something new - I highly recommend Aosip with Gapps.
Thanks once again, OTA implementation is working perfectly. A 1 GB package was downloaded and installed in 5 min or so altogether. Good to see official weeklies! Keep up the good work!
Nice battery
Idle and display off task battery life is unreal!
My call recording option does not show when in a call. But the option is there in the phone app.
Anybody facing this issue? Any solution?
Incredible ROM, how haven't I installed this before ?!
I installed through images rather than zips and booted fine!
This is so good. Thanks dev

Yeah, this is so quietly lying around in here somewhere, and just is the most perfect thing for our device.
Rock stable, fast, smooth, incredible battery, feature-rich.
And very frequent updates (unannounced).
I was totally surprised as I realized that this project wasn't abandoned whatsoever!

Good day!
There are random reboots, 5 times a day, both on the version with gappas and on the clean one!
Is it fixable?

It looks like this problem is persisting in a lot of roms right now. Hvent tried AOSIP but if this is the same case, then still there are no fixes. Not to my knowledge
New build is out

THE FINGERPRINT SENSOR IS WORKING!
This is the first custom rom that I've found that the fingerprint sensor is reliable to the level of MIUI.

Hello! For some reason on the initial setup i get an "android setup keeps failing" and so i cant do anything, do you know any reason for that? I mean, i way to fix it. I know its not rom issue because this happens to me on almost every rom, but maybe one of you knows how to fix it. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, i tried that but got the same results, this happens to me with any rom without gapps, but for some reason if i try any rom with gapps included just works fine. To me seems like i have some permissions issues but im not sure tbh, i dont know i need some specific gapps or something, tried pico and nano, also tried diferent months versions but... No luck. Any sugestions will be very helpful

This is surely a Gapps issue, you can try different packages like BitGapps, FlameGapps and so on.

I had the same idea but also tried both with no luck, its weird but for now looks like the only rom that works for me its the PE Plus ButterySmooth. I even tried flashing any rom without gapps but still the same problem, i think its because for some reason the initial setup cant get storage permissions but i dont know why it works on that rom but not on others, i really dont know what im doing wrong, i just want to try other roms
