App Manager is a light-weight tool designed to simply help the user to batch uninstall and backup applications with the least amount of permissions as possible. The application quickly lists all the installed applications on the user's phone, displaying information about each application, allowing them to view details about the application. From here, user's can chose whether to uninstall, backup or read detailed information about each applcation.
Disclaimer: Apps that are private can not be backed up.

*Why doesn't App Manager back up app data?
For security reasons. Truthfully, I originally created this app to be light-weight application. I would rather not create an application to back up user's application data and be responsible for the data.
*Why doesn't App Manager back up certain applications?
If App Manager did not backup a certain application, the application is most likely a "private" application in which the developer did not want to allow you to obtain the "*.apk". Usually the application is stored in the /data/app-private with less permissions.
So far here is what I have updated(still updating):
- Fixed the miss-spelling in the menu
- Fixed menu location for Android 4.0+
- Fixed "About" app menu section
- Fixed Layout for "Name" arrow position
- Removed buttons that cluttered app for devices under Android 3.0
- Added mass deletion of backups
- Added mass installation

Feature request: Add a way to export to cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) and I would officially drop Titanium backup in favor of this app.

The application stops backing up apps once the screen turns off !!
though.. plz keep the application free in order to compete with titanuim, a free alternative will always be appreciated

They're backed up to your SD card (hence the SD permissions)...

Noticed that the backup process stops if your screen times out.
Also, if you try to touch the screen to keep it from timing out, that stops the backup process also.
Would like to see whether an app is private or not in the Details section when I click on an app. (That way I know why an app is not showing up in the backed-up apps list).
Also would like to see a "check all / uncheck all / check box" option when restoring apps.

Free version contains ads inside the app. And in free version it not possible to change the swipe side. Default side is left .

Why you take it down from play store?

Unfortunately after installing a custom ROM a couple of weeks ago I've had to give up on it because it's not available in the Play Store/XDA anymore. App data usage
If the app's only purpose is to rock the volume then why does it shows data usage of 100+kb in foreground as well as in background. Why and what data are you transferring back and forth? I

I've been looking for some apks of this but after uploading them to virustotal I get the same report, virus "a.gray.andrsca.i", even the 1.0 version that the dev attached to the thread.

I flashed with latest international ROM in order the solve the problem, ROM shared per below thread

I am finally happy with the ROM after lots of tinkering. Common issues solved:
1. Google apps: Give permissions to Google play services and the problem is solved.
2. Password on boot: Wipe data or format data in twrp and its working
3. Dialer crash: Delete every Chinese app or default app if you want but don't delete the launcher, it crashes the dialer and doesn't let u update the contacts.
* Still need a workaround for Neo Safe app permission

Sms app support over Non-Samsung Phones

Hello guys this wasn't made by me, but since the author released it to the public, im just sharing the steps, if you guys wanna thanks

"If you don't have a Samsung phone I just found out you can still launch the Messages app. This app allows you to see SMS conversations for all texts sent from the watch. The app will not be visible in the app drawer (thanks a lot, Samsung), but it is still installed on the watch!
If you use a face from an app like WatchMaker you can set a tap action to open an app, and sure enough, "Messages" is listed as an app (select one of the elements in your face, Tap Action/Watch: Select Application/Messages).
What this ultimately means is that it is possible to create an app that, when launched, auto-launches Messages. Essentially adding Messages itself to the app drawer. For now using a tap action is fine, but I'll be making an app for this during this coming week (Of course I couldn't put it on the Samsung app store, but sideloading it to your S3(S2/Sport) will work fine). If you beat me to it please post a link to the download.

Another note: Once you look up a contact in the messages app, you can then send texts via voice. Another once thought "Smasung phones only" ability.
