Hi,
I have an galaxy gear s2 sport r720 (r720xxu2fsil1) that run tizen 2.3.2.7. And i was trying to update it to the new tizen 4.0.0.4, but i cant find some tutorial for it, so i follow the tutorial for the gear s3 but it didn't work.
And a question enter in my mind, is it possible that the gear s2 cant handle the new software?
Cuz i I think that the hardware is pretty good but the software is not as smart anymore.
I can update it to any tizen new version or im stuck in my version forever?
And besides tizen, i can use other software like android wear?

Mine is still under Tizen version 2.3.1.7, sofware version R732XXU2DPFB. The galaxy Wearable app itself states that's the most current version and refuses to update my Gear S2. Can I manually update it? Thanks a lot!

hey ive gear s2 model no sm-R720 with software version R720XXU2AOJ3 bought in US & now im in india. i got to know samsung released few software upates but im unable to update my watch. when i try to software update in gear app it says its the latest version ? does anybody knows how to install update ? Help
I have the same version here in the US. I don't believe the Sport Edition has been updated yet, just the Classic and now the 3G version. Still waiting for the extra settings for ambient mode.

I am looking for the new update too....
I have tried and flashed every single combination file and every firmware and csc. I have also changes the csc multiple times through keystring to XEF,XAR..etc but was never able to even show the spay app in the watch.
I bought my gear s3 from philippines so i guess it is the internationale version, is there a way to make spay available in it? since it was already launched for gear in france late july.
So if any one was able to get it working in france please indicate the PDA,CSC version and model and if there is any firmware/ROM that can be flashed. I really want this feature.

You tried with Tizen 3 Firmwares?
And your Phone can install Samsung Pay?
My Phone is toooo old... I have only GT-I9300...

I have updated with no luck, do you know where i can get the ROM tizen 3.0? and yes i have samsung pay on my s9 plus working
I was able to get it working in france with lydia virtual card, after long hours of trying different methods . here are the steps:
1- follow this guide to change the CSC code of your watch to BTU (United kingdom)

2-Download samsung pay for gear from apk mania or any other site
3-after changing the CSC the watch will reset and you open samsung pay for gear and it will install the app on the watch and asks you to add a card
I have done it and it is working fine.
I have a Samsung Gear s3 SM-R760 this is an indian version. I want to run samsung pay on it, since hardware supports it (I have previously flashed CSC using netOdin ) the problem is the thread which I followed last time has now stopped hosting the file and the sdb shell method didnt work (nothing happens after successfully launched) it is running Tizen Version 4.0.0.7 and One UI 1.5 . I would really appreciate the help.
