I can't grant some permission in android for my apks, eg : android.permission.INJECT_EVENT
even I have putted the apk in /system/app, the system still doesn't grant the permission
Is there any way to let my custom program can have such permission ( using root? or how to modify the system config ? But not using system cert...)
I rooted my SGS3, and i am trying to add Hebrew (iw_il) language to Language.xml file, but i cannot save the file.
i am using ES Explore and i marked the Root Explore option.
Are you sure you got the superuser rights in ES Explore? To make sure you have them you can use a terminal emulator, if you don't know how to use it I can type the commands for you.
Superuser rights
I forgot to mantion that in ES Explorer i marked the superuser option.
i thought that this will grant me permission to modify the file.
I'm rooted with CleanRom 2.3. Every now and then I read about modifying a system file and it always mentions "be careful and don't change permissions". How do you change permissions? What permission does a file have...are they talking about read/write ???
Would someone please tell us about permissions and how to not change them or change them, if appropriate?
Thanks!

I don't think you have to worry too much about permission. If you rooted you do have the admin power to do anything to the Operating system. Usually people are using "root explorer" for "ES file explore" or what ever (they all available from the market) to view system files and you do have option to change permission of a file like read, write, execute etc... Just don't change them, unless you are using third party scripts or files to replace the original system files. In this case just make a backup of the original then replace the file and set the permission same as the original. Too much permission is not going to hurt the application but not enough permission will causes the app not to work anymore. To much permission usuallly introducing security risk, like the app could actually get your phone/personal information and send them to the third party. In short, if you don't know what you are doing, just stay away from permission. If you decided to mod your phone and involving in changing permission, make sure you understand. read carefully and ask for help before doing so.

I'd recommend using Root Explorer or ES File Explorer to fix those 'permission' messages.
You'll be able to edit everything you want, without the hassle of changing the permissions to edit/mod stuff.
Eg. Changing DPI can be a mess, but using Root Explorer it only takes a minute of your time and you don't need some stupid app to do it for you, which always makes you feel like you know what you're doing, (while - in my case - some do not, but it just looks cool )
As the title i would known how move an apk to be system app. Could anyone simply explaine me?
Can you tell us why you want an app as system app?
Do you have root?
It's not possible to just move the APK and then assume it's a system app. It needs some special rights (don't know which ones).
For me, I would like to have an (older) app as system app so it can write to the SD card. This app doesn't trigger the question from the file manager to let me give the app the correct rights for the app. I had to manually change permission file .
I tried installing it with both Flashify and Magisk, but both methods failed.
When I tried installing it via the included Xposed Installer, it also failed, but gave me the message:
> Error: Xposed_Framework.jar already exists in /system/framework
I'm guessing a previous installation failed, but left the file there.
My next idea is to delete that file from /system/framework and try again, but since it's in an RO directory I don't have permission.
I tried using a terminal emulator to mount the drive in rw mode, and also tried using a root file explorer, but either both methods don't work, or I just couldn't figure it out.
Anyone have an idea of how to remove or rename that file so I can try to install the .zip ?
-Thanks

In the Xposed app you should be able to just run the uninstaller script. If that doesn't work, boot TRWP and delete it from there.

Unfortunately, the uninstaller also fails.
It says it can't remove that file from a read only directory..

Root Explorer....
This app does wonders, it allows you to modify directories in /system and other root folders. You can even change permissions of specific folders/files from read/write/read-only....etc. I've had this app since the earliest of android days and it has been my go to file explorer. Root Explorer of course requires root....but it completely unlocks your phone and allows you to modify any system file that is set to any permission. Of course there are other file explorers that allow you to modify system files, but this is the one that i have the most experience with. You should be able to access the system folder where the Xposed file remains and modify it so it can fix your problem.

This!. I've used it for years. Not muss no fuss. It's not bloated like a certain couple others I know of. It just does what it does and does it well. Manages files. No extra garbage.Give it a try. I'd be surprised if you can't delete it with Root Explorer. If you do try it, go to the folder you want to delete the file from. Once in there, look at the top right of the screen. Somewhere up there It will say MOUNT R/W. Touch that and you should be able to do whatever you want to within that folder.
Do you have the magisk DNSCrypt module installed? If so, thats why you cant modify anything in /system. Not sure why or how it breaks it, but it does. Took me for ever to figure out what was causing it. Now that i removed the module, i can modify anything i want again.
