System sound while screen recording - Realme 5 Pro Questions & Answers

OK, I know there is a option that says " Allow Sound Recording". That does record the system sounds with the microphone sounds. Is there any way that I can disable the microphone audio recording? I just want the system sounds.

That option will come with RealmeUI

Any way to record phone conversation?

Is there a way to record the phone conversation directly? This would be great if someone could add a button when your in a call to do so.. I tried the sound recorder in the notes app but it doesn't sound clear
You can hold down button 4. That will turn on the recorder
I tried that but it said phone is busy when I'm in a phone call, and the other recorder in the notes app sounds like its not recording the sound coming from the ear piece but only external sound.
I am also intrested in such an app if there is available
Please post it here

Turn on the speakerphone (loud enough) to record the earpiece voice.
So far, I find no Windows Mobile machine can record directly from the earpiece.
Try VITO Audio Notes.
Well, thats what I did. I turned the speaker phone on, but it would still be better if there was a way to do it directly without speaker phone.. Ah well, cant have everything..
In HTC Touch aka elf there is a option
although I don't know about others...
While in a phone conversation you should select the option to create a note.
Next there is screen for you to take notes as drawing or text or anything for that matter. But here's the trick in the right side menu there is a option called "View Recording Toolbar" click on it you will see a recording bar where you can record your conversation.
I have used this one to record a phone number my friend was giving me.
I haven't used it much and don't know the shortcomings or advantages of it.
But it does help....
Just check it out

I installed that but the voice is too low and it starts to record only after a few secs .
I can get the same results using the Voice recorder
It`s incredible that there is no software that can properly auto record conversations

how to mitigate notification sound playing music?

Hi everybody, someone know how to reduce notification sound playing music?
Everytime I get scared by big notification sound volume when I listen the music
Set ringer volume to zero.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
Yes but in this way I can't know about incoming calls or messages!
I remember in cyanogen there was an option to reduce notification focus sound
Ok so you are listening to music and someone sends you a text message. What is the behavior you want??

I want the sound message not so high like music volume!
Image to listen music at high volume and an incoming message arrive and you listen something like "BOOOOONG"
But I don't wanto modify notification sound volume because when I stop to listen music I want the volume at maximum (nexus s external speaker is not so strong)
In cm7 under cm settings you can lower ring tone and notification tone while music is playing. Works great for me
ahhhhh...........gone todash..............
Ok, but I have Oxygen and I want to stay with this.
Is there any other solution?

settings for the screen recorder? mute mic? video quality?

First day with the Mate 9 and I'm loving the ability to record videos of the screen quickly and easily using the double knuckle tap or the volume up and power combo. But I don't want the mic on while recording. If I deny access to the microphone, it seems the recording won't even start. I found the app settings and can disable the microphone there, but again that prevents the recorder from starting. I don't need to hear the sound of my own breathing over my screen recordings. I would think there must be a way to setup some settings for the recordings, like enabling audio, changing the recording quality or encoding, etc. No? Am I missing something? Any workaround?
Me too. Worse, I keep getting a pop up throughout the recording telling me that Google can't listen while I'm recording.
Any solutions?

I think there's a setting in Google to turn off listening at all screens all the time. The message will go away. As for recording your own breathing - you can postprocess it in any video editor and just delete the sound track?

Thanks. I was afraid that the only way to prevent the pop up was complete disabling of the OK Google recognition.
I suppose I'll have to get a video editor...
I remember having that popup too, but it didn't always happen. I remember someone saying that there are too many apps "listening" which causes google to throw that pop-up. There's a huawei feature that listens for phone call instructions, plus the listener for "OK Google", plus the recorder using the mic all at the same time. I guess disable the ones you don't use until the popup stops.
As for the audio, I couldn't find a workaround. I wound up using an app called "Replace Add Audio to Video" by Clogica to strip audio from my videos after I record them. Needless to say having to strip audio for every video recorded is a hassle, which results in me not using the recording feature very much.
Yes, it's a pity that the system app, screen recorder, has not any setting option to disable mic.
Anyone help me ? Got a honor 9 and everytime I try to use the screen recorder it says I need to enable it withing my permission for microphone. I have enabled it yet it's still telling me I need to do so. I've restated it and can't get it to work plz help!

I had the same issue just today on my huawei p10. But solved it through the following:
Settings->Apps & notifications - >Permissions - >microphone->show system(top right corner) - > search for screen recording->enable
Hope this helps
Thanks. It works :good:
On EMUI 9, you're given an option to disable the microphone.

Low ringtone/notification volume fix?

Hello, I have a regular pixel 3 and the ringtones/notifications are way too soft. I've noticed that if I'm playing a game or watching a video, the volume is great when notifications come through. Is there a way for notifications and ringtones to use the same audio channel (not sure if I'm using the right terminology here) that video and games use? I've read that it's "working as intended" per Google, and notifications and ringtones only play through the bottom speaker. Just trying to find a way to not miss so many calls when the phone is in my pocket.
Tldr: the notifications are too soft, and can it be fixed.?

Does that require further configuration, or will it "just work" after installation? I've read about it, and I think I need root for it, which I'm willing to do, just want to make sure I can get it working if I go the root route.

2.7.1 pretty much just works, you still need to configure it to Ur taste but it's a lot easier to install than previous versions
That's awesome, thanks for your answers. Final question - do you have viper4android installed on your pixel 3 and can confirm the audio plays out of both top and bottom speakers at a louder volume?
Yes it does indeed
Both Speakers for Ringer?

If you read a couple of posts up, I asked the same question and acidspider said viper4android does utilize both speakers for notifications and ringtones and plays at a louder volume according to him/her. As to configuration, I don't know. I haven't tried it yet. I was probably gonna wait a bit and try it later. Maybe after the August updates.
Clean it with alcholo
Still not loud and doesn't use both speakers

I've tried every setting I could and the Pixel 3 ringers and notifications are still not loud and will not play out of the top speaker!
Someone should be able to figure this out?
It would really help if both speakers were utilized.

Yes both speakers work except for ringers and notifications.
I don't see why that shouldnt work, have you the audio modification library and audio compatibility mod installed from magisk?
Yes they are installed. No matter what I do the ringer will not come out of the top speakers nor get loud enough.

I have the same problem. Did you found a solution?
I have also installed audio modification library and audio compatibility mod from magisk.
Maybe edit mixer_paths?
ok, ringtone/notification still low volume, but after testing the viper4android IS working in general sounds. Just not for the ringtone/notification, lol!
I haved personalised ringtone and the volume war too low. Since I use the officially ringtone, this is fine for me.
No solution found!

No, I haven't found a solution and the phone is still brand new in the box since it is useless if I can't hear it ring!
I also have a 3XL and the ringers and notifications also only come out of the bottom speaker but at a higher level.
I know someone can or has already figured it out.
