I have a Moto G8 Plus from the UK on the New Zealand "Skinny" network. Data is dropping out fairly regularly, and it's been suggested it's because it's the UK model and doesn't have the NZ ROM. It looks like the NZ ROM version is PAGE0006AU, which can be downloaded here.
Is it possible to flash the NZ ROM to the UK phone? If so are there any instructions anywhere? I've flashed ROMs to a few different phones in the past so no problem doing it, but instructions to make sure I don't brick it would be really useful.

Hi! I was wondering how to get an unbranded version of LG OPTIMUS PRO C660H firmware. On this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1425783 there is a link to download a ROM there. I downloaded it and installed it on my phone and started to BOOT LOOP. So I downloaded the original branded firmware with the software mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1073827 And I was able to return to it's original state.

Did you find it? I downloaded an unbranded that has the spanish language. I have an LG Optimus Pro from Telcel too. But i recommend you to use Cyanogenmod 7.2, the phone gets faster and has the pure android experience. Hi guys, i just recently upgraded from a SGS 2 Skyrocket T-mobile rooted running KitKat 4.4.2
to a SGS 4 I337m running android 4.3 from the mexican company Telcel (I´m living in Mexico)
The s4 is now rooted and running CWM v6.0.4.7
I generally didn´t have any problems installing custom roms for the S2 since most were highly compatible with the model
but I´m having a HARD AND CONFUSING time deciding what roms are compatible with my mexican(telcel) s4 since on the descrpitions for
most roms they only mention compatability to models like (AT&T, Tmobile, Canadian and its variants)
I understand that the Canadian model is also I337m and At&T is I337so my question is
IF I install a rom designed for the Canadian model I337m, shouldn´t it also be compatible for my Mexican Telcel I337m???
if so, then whatever issue should arise in the future which I hope does not happen, Can i simply rely on the tutorials for the Canadian model or perhaps??
(obviously if I somehow softbrick this phone I´m not going to use canadian firmware but the one available for my region)
NOTE: I have looked all over to and read forums but I just can´t get a specific answer, please help!
and I dont want to test it all out on my own because the last thing I wanna do is Damage the phone THANKS!!

I can tell you that I have flashed the Canadian Rogers ROM I337MVLUFNC1 from Sammobile (flash instructions are included in Sammobile's webpage) and it works perfectly fine with Telcel's i337m. I have used it with Telcel's 4G network and Movistar's 3G network with no issues at all.
I should warn you that I have only used ROM I337MVLUFNC1 , there are two newer ROMs from Rogers that I have not tried. After installing Roger's ROM, you can continue to root as you did with your original Telcel ROM.

Bought one of these for cheap at Target. I did the Sim unlock but wanted to flash the retail stock rom instead of the consumer cellular version it has. Can someone confirm this is the correct image to download?

I'm new to the roms of the Motorola phones. I've been so used to nexus where there is only one image for all.
According to this title: CC_XT1032_4.4.4_KXB21.14-L1.61_cid9_CFC.xml.zip - Consumer Cellular sell XT1032. Not doubting you, but are you certain you have an XT1034? If so, you have identified the correct firmware. Otherwise you need the Retail US XT1032 firmware.
Hi i have recently purchased a refurbished htc one m7-wls which i believe is the sprint model, i've recently flashed rom and installed the sprint firmware with android 5.01 or something like that which went well, well that is until i found out the focus on the rear camera was terrible with this firmware, the last firmware that was put on this phone prior to me flashing the rom was some asian htc firmware that couldn't access facebook, but i believe the camera was fine . My guess is that there is another firmware out there that is better for this model htc?

Hi, I recently updated from Android 11 to 12 and I want to go back (reasons). I have a Moto G31 bought in the Philippines.
My question is mainly about stock roms if I were to flash the firmware:
- Would I be able to get it to be identical to when I bought the phone? i.e all the same few preinstalled Moto apps and it would still go through all the normal Moto updates again?
- Would the warranty (according to the device itself) be intact? also, in other words, would the phone itself know it was different from when I first bought it?
- Would a stock rom from say Brazil be different to the one I should have on my Phillippines model (assuming they both have the exact same version number RRWB31.Q3-46-85)?

You are not the only one wanting to go back. I have found the correct ROM for me (eu) but not the correct instructions. The Lenovo forum has several pages in the thread for Android 12 problems on the G31 and people are pretty upset. There is another thread here too asking for help on rolling back the ROM, and I hope someone here on XDA who is knowledgeable can help.
