Build number: Oxygen OS 10.3.0 GM21AA
Anndroid Version: 10
Model: GM1910
Hello Everyone,
So today I did a fresh install on my device using the latest version of O0S (10.3.0). I used the latest unofficial TWRP and flashed the latest version of magisk as well. So I installed swift installer, vanced youtube and renovate rice, had no idea ever after rebooting a few times and to install my theme.
I then installed adaway, afterwards I rebooted it in order to get everything saved correctly and everything was ok. Afterwards I decided to whitelist a website and after whitelisting and rebot this time the phone booted into bootloader.
So I flashed the magisk uninstaller and rebooted and the phone booted up without any issues. I tried rebooting and flashing magisk again and got the same issue once again. Tried uninstalled again and it booted again. So I tried flashing magisk one more time and then trying using the "magisk mod uninstaller" and it gave me an error saying that magisk wasn't installed.
Can anyone help me with this issue?
This will reset your phone to factory new. You will lose your data.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/how-to/op7pro-collection-unbrick-tools-t3956595
Some clarification:
1. Download the correct .zip and extract it.
2. Open the folder where you extracted the .zip file and run "MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe" by double clicking it. Wait for it to load.
3. Power off your phone.
4. Connect a USB cord to your Windows based PC. Keep the other end unplugged from your phone for now but within quick reach.
5. Hold the Volume UP and Volume DOWN buttons and while holding ONLY those two buttons plug the USB cord into your phone.
6. You should see your phone appear in the application. You can release the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons when your phone appears.
7. You have 10 seconds to hit the START button in the app or you will have to unplug and go back to step 3.
The app will reset your phone to factory like new. You will have to unlock your bootloader again. Your phone should be like the day you got it.
I had an issue with Adaway and Magisk bootlooping as well.
Not sure what causes it though.
Peace.

Haven't had any issues with it myself. But if you end up in a bootloop after installing a magisk module, get to twrp and navigate to /data/adb/modules in the file explorer. There you can delete problematic modules without resetting the phone.

Hi everyone.
Ok back in August I purchased an Oppo r7plus "m" version not knowing the difference, from a 3rd party seller. I know I probably should've waited until the phone would go on sale in Canada but I wasn't sure if it ever would. So anyways the phone worked great for a while. I noticed that it came pre loaded with OPPO Tools and Super SU. I thought wow, this phone is rooted right of the box? Great! So I started uninstalling some native apps of which I thought were just "bloatware", everything went fine until I uninstalled the weather app.
When I turned the phone back on after restarting, it now goes into the OS but continuosly flashes on and off and you can only access the dropdown notification screen. Luckily from there I can still access the settings menu. I tried holding the power button and volume down button to go to the factory boot screen. That worked and in there its says the color os version, but in brackets says
(rooted).
I can only assume the phone is still rooted but is stuck in some sort of soft brick. I've been doing alot of reading into how I might be able to fix the phone but I'm having trouble figuring it out. I'm good with computers and all but not to this level and I never rooted an android phone before.
Please somebody HELP.
So I've downloaded the ROM for my phone model, r7 plus m, and I transfered the zip file over to the internal storage of the device. I then held down the volume down and power buttons to boot to color os recovery. Than I cleared cache and install from sd found the zip file and it started to run.
After about a minute or two into the installation it stops and reads "Installation Failed". I'm thinking I need a recovery.img file but I'm not sure. Even if I had that file I don't know what to do next.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, how did you sort it? Are you still in need of stock recovery? I have one for model F, dont know if it works with M model.
1. Download and extract my RAR files ---> HERE
2. Open your PC device manager
3. Connect an usb cable only to your pc then press and hold the phone volume + button and then connect the usb cable to the phone
3. In the device manager you will see Qhsub_bulk then release the volume+ button
4. Right click on Qhsub_bulk and choose update driver
5. Use one of the driver folders which you alredy extract to install the Qualcomm driver and you will see it like 9008
6. Your phone have to be charged very well for a few hours before you try to flash it.
7. Remove it from the charger then connect an usb cable only to your pc.
8. Try to press and hold the volume + and power buttons at the same time for a few seconds and connect the usb cable to the phone.
9. You have to see the driver in the device manager like 9006 (you can release the buttons) [it wasn't easy for me so keep trying]
10. Open the MSMDownloader and press start
11. If everything is ok you will see a green progress bar flashing. (I was stuck here with the "NON-HLOS.bin" file which you can see in the "Other NON-HLOS File" folder inside the rom which you download)
12. When the process complete in about 10 minutes you can remove the usb cable from your phone.
13. Now you have to do a veeeeeeeery long press and hold on your power button untill you feel the vibration and after that you will see the OPPO logo.
14. Leave it for 5-10 minutes to load the Color OS.
15. Ok you have a working phone but still some apps icons that are missing and the keyboard doesn't appear when you have to write something.
16. Download THIS zipped ROM and put it in the internal storage of your phone.
17. Shut down the phone then press and hold the volume - and the power button at the same time for a while intil you enter into recovery mode.
18. Choose english and then install rom from zip file. After the installation complete reboot the phone and you will get a working keyboard and few more apps like Browser, Chinese market and else....
For me i still need to insert the IMEI's because they are lost... and now i have message: Oppo nv backup. The NV partition is invalid...
Good luck to all! And if you want to give me a beer: paypal: [email protected]
Still stuck
I still can’t detect any qhsub_bulk in device manager. Even I reformat my pc to window 7 64bit it still not detecting. What it detected was only like Android usb.
Oppo r7 plusm suspected soft brick with rooted.
- stuck at oppo logo
- try recovery with stock rom but error * failed to update*
- wipe all but still same failed to update
- try the guild here but can’t detect my device with the tool
Hello everybody,
I managed to brick my mate 8 as per the title, honestly thinking why did i even bother, that whole saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." applies here 100%.
So i have been in the NXT-L29C636B180 which i put with the dload method (original was C636B103) and since then everything was good, all except the video camera that is.
So i wanted to try to get to the nougat update (561?) but i read that you need the 211 first. As i couldn't find it i used the android app: firmware finder, and using the proxy method i told basically the system that a new update is up and download it - so this is the update option in the settings..
So after it downloaded NXT-L29C636B211 then it restarted, starting unpacking, and the installation stopped at around 5% when it restarted by it self. And that was it...
I am in a screen where i cannot use the touch, but only the buttons on the side and have the options
"Reboot system now"
"Wipe data/ factory reset"
"Wipe cache partition"
Tried the cache and rebooting, didn't do anything.
Tried wiping, and reboot, then i go in another page
"Huawei eRecovery" where it asks to connect to the wifi and download but then throws an error message "Getting package info failed"
That is pretty much it, i tried putting the update.app in the dload folder in the sd card and tried to use that method but it wouldnt boot that (used the volume + and - and power buttons) but it took me back to one of the above.
Am i out of hope? Is there anything i can do to restore it?
I really appreciate the help.
same problem!

That happened to me too. you will still be able to enter fastboot. plug your phone to your pc and and press and hold the power and volume down. that should take you to the fastboot screen.
find the appropriate twrp recovery for your phone and use the command
fastboot flash recovery "recovery name".img. wait till its done.
press and hold the power and volume down button till the phone reboots. that will takeyou to twrp recovery. there you could either flash b210 or the beta b521 -- which i am on.

Thank you for the response. I will give it a try today after work i am a complete noob so its the first time for me to see what fastboot is, never heard of TWRP, i was always stock so never needed to mess with my phones.
If i recall doing power and volume down while plugged it was taking me to the page i mentioned to wipe the data, reboot or wipe the cache.
I managed to go to the fastboot page on the phone by pressing volume - and then plugging the phone to the pc. Now in the white page on the phone it shows, Phone unlocked in red. Does this mean just it is carrier unlocked?
So do i need to have the bootloader unlocked to do anything here? How do i do that? I cannot buy the code i suppose now since my phone is bricked i will have to go the Huawei way? And how do i do that, i saw a site to create a HUawei ID but in the registration page it didn't mention UK anywhere (where i live), mentioned Hong Kong and other Asian territories. I bought the phone from Wonda mobile, and being the 636 i would think its the asian model anyway.
Regarding TWRP, i didnt install it from before the phone was bricked will i still be able to do what you mentioned? And for the image i need to use, do i need to go to the firmware i was in before (636B180) or the one i tried to go to (636B211)? I can't seem to find the 180 anymore anywhere.
Sorry for the mass amount of questions, trying to sort it i have the phone for less than a year and i am gutted for messing it up like that.

sorry for my bad english.
Hey guys - I hope you're doing well.
I recently got an HTC U12+, but wanted to try using a custom ROM due to all of the bloatware . Unfortunately I think I've ended up bricking my device. Here are some things I've since tried:
- Restoring to the backup I made beforehand in TWRP - restore works without any errors, but then just hangs at the boot screen
- Method 1 from this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/u12-plus/how-to/collection-htcu-u12-ruu-firmware-t3794664) - TWRP always says the zip files are corrupted for some reason
- Method 3 from that same thread - this actually worked before, but I tried installing a custom ROM again, somehow messed up again, and now this method no longer works as it just hangs at the "HTC" boot screen for eternity
- Both methods in this thread (https://www.theandroidsoul.com/how-to-install-htc-firmware-ruu-and-zip/) - the first one leads to a "failed remote 99 ru unknown fail terrible mishap" error, and for some reason my PC doesn't see my phone when I try the second despite being able to see it in file manager
- Probably many other methods that I've now forgotten
I know this is a whole lot of information, but I'm in desperate need of some help. I typically like to troubleshoot things myself, but I've been trying to fix this for quite some time now and could definitely use another set of (much more experienced) eyes. I greatly appreciate any help you guys can provide.
Thanks.
Flash RUU with SD card method
Download RUU from here(important:check your CID): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wIRrVQawd5rD-t9VKPQ-SdRK20RcJVZhwD7lhmPIK8w/edit#gid=0
1. rename RUU to 2Q55IMG.zip
2. copy zip in the root of your sd card. - external card / not internal - it will not work
3. reboot to download mode,
4. your device will pick up the zip file and flash it.
5.follow on screen instructions and enjoy your RUU(this method erase all your data)
I'm having an issue with my u12+ where it just continually reboots to a message saying "The boot loader is unlocked and the software integrity cannot be guaranteed. Any data stored on the device maybe available to attackers, do not store sensitive data on this device" and then it shows the white HTC logo that says Powered by Android down the bottom of the screen, it stays like that for about 5 minutes and then reboots and does the same thing over again.
Holding the power down button does nothing, it will not turn off the phone. Holding power and volume down does nothing either. The phone just does this every 6 minutes and reboots and cycle and that's it.
I've tried putting the file 2Q55IMG_IMAGINE_DUGL_O80_SENSE10GP_hTC_Asia_TW_1.53.709.1_Radio_sdm845-000201b-1807311356_release_531499_signed_2_4.zip (renamed to 2Q55IMG.zip) on the root of a 8gb Fat32 formatted SD card, but I just can't get into recovery or download mode.
I've tried holding down all 3 side buttons for minutes, or just the power button, or combination of buttons, they all do nothing to the phone. (it's as tho they are disabled, but sometimes holding a combination of the 3 will make the phone vibrate a little bit, but in no particular time or order)
When the phone is in either state (locked bootloader message or white HTC logo) my Windows 10 PC sees the phone plugged in as a "USB Input Device", not an Android Phone or Android Device. So using ADB or Fastboot commands do not work to it. I've tried to force the driver to the HTC driver but that does not work.
I also tried using the RUU_IMAGINE_UHL_O80_SENSE10GP_NA_Gen_Unlock_1.30.617.2.exe file, but once again it doesn't detect my phone.
Any help would be kindly appreciated.
Cheers!
EDIT: So I was finally able to get into download mode by waiting until the phone done its 6 minute reboot and then holding power down until it vibrated once, then held volume up until it vibrated again, then let go of the power button, I was then able to choose recovery, download etc.
So I managed to get the file 2Q55IMG.zip to install, it said it installed 100% okay. The phone rebooted and now I'm stuck again just at the white HTC logo and Power by Android down the bottom of the screen.
This time the phone is not automatically rebooting itself and no key combinations will make it reboot. I've tried holding them all in certain combinations for periods of time, the phone will not reboot or turn off.
EDIT 2: So maybe I didn't wait long enough after installing the 2Q55IMG.zip file, I finally got the phone to reboot and now I've got a working phone again. happy days

Cheer mates, issue sorted. I just updated my comment in my post.
Not sure if I'm game enough again now to try and put LeeDrOiD and Magisk on it.
I'm having issues with my OnePlus 7 Pro running Android 11 OxygenOS. It won't turn on at all, the screen is black, it's not detected by ADB.
It is my first time rooting an Android phone, I did the following to get to this result:
1. I used an handy tool called Tool All In One to unlock the bootloader https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ck-twrp-factory-image-stock-recovery.3930862/
2. I received a notification to update OxygenOS, I did so and rebooted
3. I flashed TWRP 3.6.0 using Tool All In One
4. I used the TWRP menu on the phone to install Magisk 23, after installing I wiped Dalvik
5. After it booted, I installed the Magisk app and used it to install Magisk using the recommended “direct install” method
6. I saw a guide doing things somewhat differently, I installed the Magisk module TWRP A/B Retention Script but I didn't do anything else the guide said because I did things in the wrong order (if it was to be considered the true way)
7. I wanted to boot to TWRP but I was unsure how. I pressed “Reboot EDL” on Tool All In One to see what it does (I didn't look it up what it actually was for, I just clicked on)
8. The phone is turned off/black screen, seems dead. Pressing and holding the power button does nothing, ADB doesn't detect it.
Well don't click if you don't know :|
First thing, try to press the power button for a long time and look what happen.
I think you put your phone in Qualcomm EDL mode to completely reset the phone.

I held the power button for like a minute, no dice.
I fixed it. Apparently I was too square brained to try vol up + power. It exited the EDL mode that way.
So I have Galaxy S7 (Flat). It had installed TWRP with Magisk on stock Android. I decided to install LineageOS (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-q-s-lineageos-with-microg-for-samsung-s7-flat-edge.3921094/) (clean install using TWRP) and it installed successfully, everything was fine, I've turned my phone off and on few times and system was booting without any problems.
But then I decided to boot into TWRP (using key combination) to install magisk and... it's stuck on loading screen forever.
I can't even turn it off ! And my phone is getting hotter and hotter. Please help !
I can't turn it off, because simply holding power button doesn't do anything.
I can restart it by holding power + volume down ,but it just opens TWRP again.
I've read I could boot into Maintenance Boot Mode ,but it requires to turn off a phone, which I'm unable to do.
Only thing I am able to do is to boot into Download Mode, but it doesn't change anything (still cant turn off phone in this mode)
Should I try to disassembly the phone and take out the battery manually? I don't really see any other option.
Did I bricked my phone ?
@edit
I have backup of stock system made by TWRP, but it doesn't change anything as I cant use TWRP.
I didn't install LineageOS custom recovery.
Ok, so I left phone overnight to deplete the battery. And it didn't work ! I thought that battery is dead and phone is off, but the moment I've plugged the power cord it automatically turned on into TWRP screen, like a zombie !
However I've solved the problem. As I was able to get phone into Download Mode (by holding power+volume down+home) I used Odin. I've installed newest Odin on PC, Samsung USB drivers and flashed the newest TWRP tar. Although it was scary, I was almost sure I've bricked my phone. Adb/fastboot were not detecting the phone.
And after re-flashing TWRP everything works fine. Also LineageOS booted like a charm, it stay intact.
So, it seems that installing LineageOS somehow corrupted my TWRP, despite that I un-ticked the option to install LineageRecovery ,so technically it shouldn't mess with it at all.
Anyway, problem solved.
